I ordered a double ShackBurger and french fries. The food tasted solid. It's not the best burger and fries I've eaten, but it's solid for a fast food place. The only complaint I have is the portion size is really small for the price. I will say I probably eat a little more than the average person, so this might not be an issue for other people, but the portion is too small for me. It really wouldn't be worth it to get 2 burgers and fries because I'd spend about $30 to get that. The place had AC running and plenty of seating. It was a nice place to sit and eat at during a hot day. The service was okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. Overall, I'm giving it a 3 star mainly because I'd rather go to another burger place like in n out since it's more affordable with similar quality. read more

The low rating on this in my opinion is insane. Order a DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER and get back to me. It is $11 for so much meat and around 50g of protein! You can order at the front or on a kiosk. The service was okay. The girl brought our food out for us and asked us if we needed anything. When we asked for some things she told us we could grab it at the counter ourselves which is fair but kinda odd to ask if we needed anything and then tell us to get it ourselves. I got a chicken sandwich and my husband got a burger. I felt like the burger was a too cheesy for me and overpowered the beef patty flavor. It was a bit sloppy and wet as well. The chicken was really thick. The outside was crispy but again the sandwich itself was really wet and sloppy. I liked that it came with pickles but I wish there was something like a tomato or something else besides just the lettuce and sauce. The fries were nice and crispy and came with a little container of ranch. They were probably my favorite part of the meal. I felt like the portions are pretty small for the price and the food isn't that amazing. Awful experience! I ordered the limiter time West Coast Burger. I basically was handed cheesy slop to go and paid $21 for it! So disappointed and want my money back! After trying them in NYC a long time ago, I'm so happy to have Shake Shack in Orange County. You could order at the counter and the kiosks, but I like ordering through the app. Especially because the app sometimes has some great deals! Right now they have $1 sodas, $3 fries, and $5 shakes. Stopped by Shake Shack in Huntington Beach for a quick bite and tried the cheeseburger and the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake. The burger was alright--tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. What really stood out, though, was the shake. It was insanely good. Super rich and creamy with a deep pistachio flavor, and the chocolate shell inside added such a fun twist. I cracked it open and mixed it in, and it created this perfect combo of smooth custard, crunchy bits, and rich chocolate. Honestly, it's one of the best shakes I've had in a long time. The cheese wasn't even melted. Two slices of Kraft cheese on what I think was a hamburger bun that had been completely flattened. I had to heat it in the air fryer when I got home to melt the cheese. Onion rings. Literally 7 onion rings, in medium to small size. An avocado burger that was lukewarm at best. I also had to put the fries in the air fryer at home, which is weird to me because I was told "we're waiting on fresh fries." I've been here once before and it was mediocre, but it was a bit later on a Thursday night. Turns out average dinnertime on a Sunday is no better. I was today years old when I found out there's a shake shack near me! The staff here is tremendously friendly. The burger shop itself is clean. And obviously, the burger is amazing! We also ordered their rings and fries, was which solid. And we finished our meal off with the vanilla shake. Also wanted to add that there was a mishaps on one of the burgers, but the immediately fixed it, no problems asked. Will definitely come back!! read more

I had lunch recently at this location of Shake Shack. It's in a large plaza so there is plenty of parking. The interior is large and kept very clean. They also have a patio and a drive-thru. You can order at a kiosk or with a human at the counter. A young lad was waiting at the register so I went to him and ordered a ShackBurger and fries. I also decided to get the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake which, smiling, he said was a great choice as it was "really good". I took a seat at a table and my order was brought to me in a couple minutes. The burger and fries were both fine, typical fast food but nothing out of the ordinary. My favorite thing at Shake Shack has always been the milkshakes. The Dubai Chocolate milkshake was an inventive, creative idea but failed. It was an excellent pistachio milkshake, full of flavor and the kataifi added a unique, crunchy texture to the shake. What didn't work was the chocolate. I was told to "crack open the chocolate shell and mix it in". There really wasn't a "shell", just a thin layer of chocolate on the walls of the cup. It was too thin and not hard enough to crack so I used a straw to scrape at it, which mainly just clogged the straw with a few pieces falling into the shake. After using several straws (there were no utensils to do the job) I got a lot of the chocolate scraped off the sides but most of the pieces that fell into the shake were too large to suck through a straw so I had to tip the cup and just drink it normally. The few bits of dark chocolate just weren't worth the effort; It was too much of a hassle for little payoff. This milkshake is a limited time offering so odds are it's off the menu by the time you read this. read more

Went through the drive-thru for a quick to go meal. I ordered the Shackburger combo with fries and had the Pomegranate Basil Lemonade as my drink. The patty in the burger was a little too salty for my liking, and the lemonade was more sour than it was sweet. The service was quick and polite, but I've noticed on occasion the drive-thru can get impacted on certain days. I think you can find better options elsewhere, but if you want a decent bite, a stop here every now and then wouldn't hurt. read more

The one star is due to the service. I was here back In June, ordered my food, spent $40, and when I got home, I realized my order wasn't accurate. I called and spoke to a manager Ana she was great said I would hear from the hospitality department. I never heard back. I called back a few weeks later, spoke to another manager on shift who also took down all my info, and I have yet to hear back. He said it usually take no more than 5 days. Ana had originally stated that she would request a full reimbursement of my order given the inconvenience. I have yet to receive an email or call. It's unfortunate because the food is great, but when you can't get the right order and can't get a resolution to a simple problem, it's not worth it. read more

This location is specifically always mid to worse. Burger was thrown in the bag tomatoes falling out. Fries were re fried like multiple times all overcooked no potato left. I haven't been to a Shake Shack since i went to the grand opening at the one in Irvine Spectrum back in 2023 (see my review). So, I wanted to try them again but this time i went to this location since it's only a couple of miles from my work. Sorry to say they just don't do it for me. Burger seems small and bland and the fries that they gave me seems like was sitting there for a while. I had gotten my food to go but while i was waiting I noticed some lady had grab someone else's order. If she hadn't forgotten her shake and returned before walking out the door, she then realized she grabbed the wrong bag off the shelf. The one that had the most flavor was of course the Truffle Burger, but the onion rings in the burger were definitely not crispy. BLACK TRUFFLE BURGER Ordered their limited time black truffle burger as a double. It was so good! They didn't skimp on the black truffle flavor and they also added gruyere cheese and fried sweet onion, which made it even better! Deliciously indulgent with every bite! Wish this was on their permanent menu! This limited time burger will stay until early to mid January 2025. But for black truffle lovers, run don't walk! I'm definitely coming back for a second round or even a third round of their black truffle burger! In addition to the Black Truffle Burger, they also offer Black Truffle 'Shroom and Black Truffle Shack Stack. BLACK TRUFFLE PARMESAN FRIES Deliciously crispy crinkle cut fries sprinkled with parmesan cheese served with a creamy black truffle dipping sauce! The truffle was strong in this one! I can even see chunks of black truffle in the sauce! Loved every bite! And to make it even better, their crinkle cut fries were perfectly crispy! Not a soggy fry in sight! So, so good! PARKING This was a large parking lot, however, I can see that with many stores open late, parking can be difficult. I didn't have trouble, but I can see this strip mall getting packed on a weekend. However, with the drive-thru being open, I think parking won't be as bad. This was our first time at any Shake Shack and we were not disappointed. The chicken sandwich is by far the new favorite! The filet was thick and juicy. The burger did not disappoint. It is a basic burger but the Shake sauce is delicious and the buttery bun was perfectly toasted! It is a little expensive but I don't mind paying for good quality. Try to take advantage of specials if you are price conscious. This will be my new go to for both burgers and chicken sandwich's. read more

Whatever you do, make sure you visit another location other than this one. I stopped by this location today and wanted to order the new Big Shack. And when I placed my order, I asked if I could receive the burger protein style, which means no bun and sub lettuce. When my burger was brought out, it contained all 3 buns. I asked the server to bring it back, and she returned later, only to say that her manager says that they do not serve protein style burgers. What? What year is this? Every restaurant makes a burger without bun. It's as common as "no onions". Either way, this manager did not budge and made me take the burger that I had requested without bun. Du not eat here. So excited this new location finally opened! They have EV parking nearby, 2 drive thru lanes, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, very quick service, and quality food. They also have catering options with boxes of a dozen servings of burgers and fries. I usually get the regular Shack Burger, just a single and that's enough. Then bacon cheese fries and an Oreo milkshake. They always have limited time special burgers and shakes flavors so keep your eyes out on their website for the latest. We're not from the area, but we stopped by the Huntington Beach Shake Shack with our entire volleyball team and their families--and we were blown away by the service! Haley, the cashier, was incredibly friendly, patient, and efficient while taking our large and somewhat complicated group order. Manager Anna was just as impressive--professional, welcoming, and clearly on top of everything. Even with such a big group, the food came out quickly, hot, and 100% accurate. Every single order was perfect--which is not easy with a team full of hungry athletes and parents!
