I really wanted to like Egg Bred, but unfortunately, it was super disappointing. I DoorDashed the avocado toast, a soft poached egg, and arugula. Instead what I got was a mess. The toast was completely soggy, there was visible liquid pooled at the bottom and the egg was raw, translucent, and slimy. My first bite was straight into that raw egg and soggy bread, and I had to spit it out because it felt super unsafe from a food safety standpoint. One of the best burritos we've ever had. It was a perfect balance of crispiness on the outside, and smooth and buttery potatoes in the inside. Extremely filling. Idk which entree it came with, but they gave us a tub of cheese. (Honestly went good on both). My only complaint is I asked for green and red salsa cause our cashier said sure when I asked if we can have one of each, and we only got a green one. Was getting an oil change down the street and popped in to EggBred for a quick breakfast with my daughter. I LOVED my breakfast sandwich ~ scramble me softly. The buttermilk fried chicken burrito was probably one of my favorites, it came with a side of gravy, and the burrito wasn't dry at all. The chicken was moist and the proportion of the meat to egg was great! The Ben Franklin was really good too, I really liked the arugula in it! The workers were super nice and patient with us since it was our first time there. The inside of the restaurant gave off a trendy and welcoming vibe. The restaurant has small seating area and the menu is pretty decent. The prices are not too bad and the food was flavorful. I do love the green sauce they give you with the burritos and I like that they have where you can get tapatio, chilua, or Tabasco on the side. The ribeye California had plenty of meat and avocado in it and the breakfast, sausage burrito also had plenty of meat too. The burritos are an okay size, they're not exactly large, more like a medium size. I wish they offered milk here, as all they have is blood orange juice and orange juice. I ordered the "smothered yard pimp burrito. The fried chicken, potatoes, gravy and cheese was incredibly delicious. The fresh, house made, tomatillo salsa was scrumptious. My sweet woman ordered the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was huge and came with jalapeño, smoked ketchup. The ketchup alone was worth the visit, really unique and delicious! Tried this place today and it was super average. Sandwiches, toasts and burritos (plus a few burger options). What took us there is a breakfast sandwich that looked amazing on their social media, particularly because it l had arugula on it -- but what we ordered had none and it did not look like a single item on their menu had any "greens" either. A bit misleading. I got the egg and sausage breakfast sandwich. The first person we talked to at the counter was not all that helpful, but another person came up and answered my questions. I ordered the eggbred cheeseburger with egg yolk cooked through. My husband ordered the Benny burrito. My daughter got popcorn chicken kids meal. We ordered fries to share. Everything was really good! Only issue was that the yolk popped and wasn't cooked through. The sausage was fairly dense. I didn't care for the roasted red peppers. We got an extra side of smoked paprika spread but it could have benefitted from a touch of sweetness. The Mixed Berry Cheesecake Waffle was great and almost had a Funnel Cake consistency. I got an extra side of cheesecake drizzle. It's almost like a mixture of icing and sour cream. Cool.
