The smallest location I've visited to date, I was glad to find them open late and park in the lot without issues after a wine tasting. The kiosk to order is conveniently placed directly underneath the two-panel menu above. My order was fairly simple. A brisket burger, that's really more like a pulled pork sandwich in style, with delicious slaw and pickles. I had a sweet tooth, so I ordered a delicious Oreo shake, entered my name and grabbed a seat. I didn't wait long and my order was presented on the metal trays they use. That burger really went down easy. Flavors galore, and didn't sit heavily, either. The milkshake was also really good. I'm trying to make those rare treats but at least I know they're the real deal! All-in-all, a great, fast experience and both employees working were friendly and professional.

Urban Skillet is a popular HALAL burger spot, with a handful of locations across the U.S. This particular location has limited seating and is located across the street from Triangle Square. Southern BBQ Burger ($14.75) - This came with a brioche bun, double smashed patties, Swiss cheese, an onion, BBQ sauce, turkey bacon, lettuce, and urban sauce. It was 1/2 pound of meat, and all the beef here is grass fed! The burger was juicy, and so flavorful with the BBQ sauce. I wish the bacon was crispier and I prefer the taste of beef bacon compared to the turkey bacon used here. The brioche bun wasn't as soft as I had expected. Overall this is a GREAT tasting burger, it's so flavorful and juicy. The best part is that it's HALAL and grass fed. The only negative I have is that the burger is on the pricier side. They also offer other items here like fries, wings, hot dogs, shakes, and drinks.

Stopped by after a friend highly recommended it, saying it was the best burger ever, so we decided to try it together. All burgers come as doubles, and based on the photos come out quite large. I asked if it was possible to order a single patty & the cashier was able to accommodate my request. There is also a self service kiosk if you want to order that way. Fries are not included so be sure to add it separately. I opted for tater tots, but it had to be special ordered because the menu only listed specialty items. While waiting for the food, I noticed the cashier repeatedly applying her makeup & plucking her brows at the register. When the food was ready she brought it out to our table. Unfortunately it made me feel uncomfortable and disgusted, as personal grooming especially before handling food is highly inappropriate. The unprofessional and inappropriate behavior at the register overshadowed what could've been an enjoyable experience

Urban Skillet is a vibe. Small spot with nice decor and a great atmosphere. Garry at the register was super friendly, and Pastor, the cook in the back, was all smiles on the grill. You can tell everyone enjoys working together management is definitely doing a great job. I got the original burger and a drink and it was really good. Wish I had tried a side, but I'll definitely be back. Great energy, great service, and solid food.

great halal quick eats! savory burger and yummy hot dogs wrapped in beef bacon. the older gentleman working here is so kind along with all of the staff. it's a small little corner shop but there are heaters outside if it's cold and there's no seating inside. ask for easy on the sauce on the hot dog! a bit pricey compared to some other halal burger places in the area so that's the reasoning for one less star, but i'd come back for the great people running urban skillet! :)

Came here for lunch Saturday! It's very limited seating but there was seating outside as well. We ordered on an ipad by the entrance. I do wish someone greeted us when we came in though, because after ordering we were just waiting and it felt very impersonal. The food took about 25 minutes to come out. The burgers were good! Tasted fresh and the buns were super soft. The fries however were very very crispy. I want to say they must have double fried them. If you're into super super crispy fries, definitely order them. I wasn't the biggest fan of them. Also the truffle fries tasted a little too salty. Not my cup of tea, but cool trying the place out.

Well the kids said 5 stars. I had the brisket sandwich. It was good but could have used some bbq sauce. My kids had burgers & I know will be begging to come back. Prices were decent & serving size good also.

I don't even know where to start... Everything was AMAZING, from the smallest ingredients to the largest. First of all, the Urban Sauce is like everything in n out sauce wants to be and more. Everything was perfectly salted on the Urban Fries and the touch of the broken up beef patty is just . My husband hasn't stopped talking about the Southern BBQ Burger sine we ate here last night. My ONLY qualm is the seating. Don't expect to come here on a weekend and find a spot because we barely got seated after waiting a bit and it was only a Thursday afternoon. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I don't think i'd like to bring a big group of friends here because we just wouldn't fit. Overall I hope this place does extremely well and gets enough money to move to a much larger building. Also.. a note on the whole "ipad checkout" controversy.. I'm not mad about it. These people are giving all their time to the food and it absolutely shows. I don't mind taking 30 seconds to push some buttons and know my order is perfectly sent out and with be fully focused on

A great place for burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches. It literally says that outside this little shop and they might just be right about it. This is a tiny tiny little shop where you can get yourself a bite when you have your burger craving. There's maybe enough room for like 10-12 people to sit inside if you cram in and a few tables outside but I do like places like this beaches they usually do a great job. I got their Southern BBQ Burger and the loaded tots for my lunch and in simple words I enjoyed it. The burger was very nicely prepared, specially the bun had such a nice softness and aroma of the brioche, and the flavors of the burger all went great together. Also mind you these are smash burgers so they will usually be served closer to med well/well done. Everything here is Halal as well, including the bacon (for all the halal eaters). The Loaded Tots was good too, but this place is all about the burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. Definitely worth a try!

Came here when we got into town the other night, I believe it was the best thing we had our whole trip. They have halal meat, make it fresh to order, the place was clean but small, but they make it work. The woman working was nice and attentive, the food was very good even as leftovers! I would recommend! Perfect for a late night bite!

Yumm!! Love that they opened one in Orange County The location is great - really nice area and parking is easy peasy Really great options on the menu The wings were decent and tasty The buffalo fries, I wasn't a huge fan of BUT the brisketttt oh man The fries were bomb and I'd eat it in a sandwich too Really decent and tasty brisket!!! The bun was memorable delicious The beefy patties were so good and juicy too Favorite thing on the menu for the night was hands down the oh so hot burger - it had everything I wanted A good juicy, melty, flavorful, well rounded snack Can't wait to come back!

It's been a WHILE since I've had a burger that's really impressed me and wow did this place impress me. Urban Skillet is located near the beach (the perfect place to come after) and had a good amount of parking. Seating is limited and minimal, and there were about three tables outside as well. We walked in and I love that there's a kiosk for ordering, but the cashier was available for orders as well, so whichever you prefer. Ordering was super smooth and easy. My friend and I asked if they could half our two different burgers so we could both try both burgers, and they were super cool and obliged. The burgers are soooo filling, full of GOOD meat (and quite a lot of it - I usually double patty at other places, they do that here by default), flavorful sauces and additions, and were just absolutely delicious. I was so impressed. We got the Truffle Banger and the Brisket Burger. Both were great, but I will 10000% be repurchasing the Truffle Burger next time (must love mushrooms though). We also got a side of Buffalo Mac 'N' Cheese Fries. This was my friend's choice. The mac 'n' cheese on here were sooo good (and I consider myself a big mac and cheese connoisseur haha). I wasn't a fan of the buffalo sauce, though personally. The fries in this were the thin stringy kind and they do get a bit soggy under all the other stuff going on here but that just tells you how much is going on! This by itself could be a full meal for most though, so definitely share with someone! Portions are great, food tastes amazing, and it's all halal! I'm so excited they opened up this location and I can't wait to be back!

Ordered to go. There was no one in the small restaurant, food came quickly. Paid for a burger and truffle fries with tax and tip was over $27. Burger was juicy, but fries were plain, not truffle. Didn't know until we got home. It was decent, but wouldn't pay that much again for a burger and fries to go.

It is not very often that I get taken by surprise visiting a burger joint. I had seen this place…read morefor quite a while, having driven past it on multiple occasions but never had the opportunity to go in. Well today I broke that streak and I am super excited that I did! The Burger lounge, from the outside, looks like one of those high-end burger places that promises the moon and delivers a lot less. But let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised when I went in and was shocked by the quality of the food, the appearance of the establishment, the friendliness of the crew, and the overall meal experience! The exterior, gives the feeling that this is an exclusive lounge, which from the inside is very well appointed and I love the feeling and the casual vibe that it gives off. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming, and the place is clean as a pin. Definitely makes for a great dining experience. I love the fact that they have different options on the menu, I decided to opt for the house combo which was a burger. Your choice of fries or onion rings and a drink. I picked the single burger with no tomatoes but it came with pickles, lettuce, and your choice of onions. I opted for the caramelized onions and I am so glad I did! I ordered the onion rings extra crispy, and they turned out absolutely perfect! To wash it down, I opted for the hibiscus drink and was not disappointed. Absolutely excellent all the way around. The real star of the show however, was the hamburger. This is not the biggest burger you will ever see, but it is definitely good sized, and pax more flavor than you would expect. I mean for a little bit more than you would spend for a Big Mac combo at McDonald's, this burger blows it completely out of the water. It was fresh, well cooked, and one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time. I didn't even mention, that it's all delivered to you on a warm metal plate. A warm plate! It kept the burger hot when you set it down to have some onion rings and pick it back up and it's still nice and warm. A very nice touch. One thing I do have to comment on is the thousand Island dressing on the side, you're going to want about a quart of that because it is so delicious. Perfect thing to dip onion rings in or just slather on your hamburger because why not? The bottom line, now that I know about this place, I'm probably going to become a regular here. Do yourself a favor and if you are in Orange county and near the 17th Street area, go get yourself a bite to eat at the Burger lounge. You will not be disappointed. I will be back very, very soon!

It was a beautiful day, and we were given our choice of patio dining. Our server, Grace, friendly and efficient, was exceptional at checking on us which doesn't always happen when outdoors. Another friend and I split a steak salad. Sharing a salad off a plate can be an awkward feat, but they offer a split-plate up-charge for avoiding that! My friend had to go shopping and so we decided to grab a bite to eat at kenwoods. From the outside, the windows are so darkly tinted. I couldn't tell if they were open or not. But upon opening the door there were people scattered throughout the place. So we just walked into the bar area and got a high top table. Server came up to us, asked us for drinks and handed us menus. He came back shortly after we gave him the order. I had a chicken Caesar salad and a space dust double IPA, my friend just had a cup of coffee. The chicken Caesar was really good, and the beer was as expected. The first cup of coffee that he brought to the table was cold so we had to send that back to get a fresh cup. Now it wasn't that busy so I would think that the server would take a moment to check to see that the coffee was warm, but apparently that didn't happen. I got my food and started digging in and the coffee came out a few minutes later. The salad was good, had a nice size chicken breast on top and the dressing was really tasty, not overpowering. I was a little bit stunned at the bill when it came to the table and it was $35 plus dollars, I guess the food and grocery hikes still surprise me, although they shouldn't. The dining experience was okay, it wasn't stellar by any means, but it was adequate, I didn't felt neglected or rushed in any way. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the coffee incident. Having been a server in the food industry. That's definitely one of the things you look for. Bottom line, I would probably come back again. But there are many other places in Costa Mesa to try.

The business park/plaza I work at does an annual tenant appreciation lunch event where they order catering for us. Last year they did In-N-Out which was awesome, so I was a little bummed out they didn't do it again this year, but it ended up being a very pleasant surprise. At face value, a cheeseburger from TK Burgers really isn't anything special, I gotta admit. However, once I sunk my teeth into it, I was actually really impressed. Delicious charbroiled patty, fresh produce at all the right ratios, and the best part to me? The bun. At first I thought the bun was going to be dry as a bone and crumbly, but it's actually soft. The property management company sent out an email saying there were still burgers left, so I ended up getting a second burger. Hell yeah moment. Anyway, I was in the area yesterday and ordered a cheeseburger and it was just as good as the last time I had it awhile back. Actually, it was a little better last time because it was free haha. Overall a very solid, simple, straight-to-the-point cheeseburger with an excellent bun. According to their website, they have a bakery make their buns with their secret/proprietary recipe. It's not a place I would drive out of my way for from Anaheim, but if I were in the area or if I lived nearby, I would definitely stop in from time to time.

They do have them where I'm at in Las Vegas, but I have yet to visit any of those establishments. I was super hungry and thought I want to go try that rib sandwich. Place is easy to find right off 17th Street. You really can't miss it with that big sign. And the building is definitely unique as well so you shouldn't have any problem finding it Inside you can either choose to go digital and and skip talking to a real person. I'm old school, I actually like engaging with people. So I went to the counter. I ordered the rib sandwich without looking, and was a little shocked by the total. The sandwich itself is 15 bucks, I ordered a small fry which was $4.50, and a small drink which was $4. With a 15% tip my total came out to $28. Definitely a little shell-shocked by that. Now let's talk about the sandwich. It came to the table and at first glance it looked very small. When I picked it up there was a very generous portion of rib meat inside like a big chunk of rib meat. Huge pickles and a lot of sauce. It was a great sandwich. Do not get me wrong, what I ordered again? Maybe. They don't really have a meal deal that includes fries and a drink so it's sort of all a la carte. Now let's talk about the taste. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the sandwich itself was a solid 10. That being said, I would definitely feel more comfortable paying $12 for this sandwich, as I think 15 is a little exuberant. And you don't really get that many fries for $4.50. I can't imagine what the meal deal would have been, but I'm sure people would absolutely balk at that price. I would have given it a five-star review, but that is way too much for that sandwich. As delicious as it was, I just don't feel right spending that much for a sandwich. If it could be reworked, and the price dropped down I would be all in in a heartbeat. Bottom line? If you've been wanting to try it, I say go ahead. Just be warned that you could be unpleasantly surprised unless you know what the prices are you're getting into.
