If you've been wanting to try Fogo but don't want to spend a lot, here's an easy way to do it. Costco sells their gift cards at about 20% off. You pay $79.99 for $100 value (item #1654048), no expiration. That's already $20 saved upfront. They also have a lunch option called Market Table & Feijoada Bar for around $18. It's an all-you-can-eat salad bar, but honestly pretty good. There are cold cuts like bacon and ham, cheeses, veggies, mushrooms, fruits, rice, and more. You can mix and match whatever you like. Even a regular salad elsewhere can easily cost $15+, so this feels like a solid deal. Great option if you don't eat much meat or prefer something lighter. Right now they also have an all day happy hour menu. You can add small bites like $6 bar items or a $10 burger (extra $4 for fries). We tried the grilled chicken and mini spicy chicken sliders, both were really good for the price. If you're celebrating something, they'll usually offer a free dessert with a candle for the birthday, which is a super nice touch. So if you do salad bar plus a couple of bar bites, two people can eat for under $50. Pretty good deal for this place. If you have a bigger appetite or really want the full experience, you can go for the all-you-can-eat churrasco (includes salad bar), which is $55 per person in this location, or more for premium options. You can also start with the salad bar and add a grilled selection like steak or lobster instead of going all in. One small thing I wasn't sure whether to mention, but I'll share it for context. When we said we were starting with just the $18 Market Table, the server's expression noticeably changed and he quickly removed the meat service tongs from our table. Later, when we ordered from the happy hour menu, he seemed a bit surprised, like he didn't expect us to add anything else. Not a huge issue, but it did feel a little off. Just because we chose the salad bar this time doesn't mean we wouldn't come back for the full churrasco experience in the future. Overall, the food and environment were great, but I do think service attitude in moments like this could be handled a bit more consistently. We still tipped well, but it's something I noticed.

I prefer their hH menu or var menu as they call it. POV Costco gc gas $80 for $100, so that's a savings in itself. We got the steak from the menu, the Caprese salad from the menu and also the lamb chops. Everything cost about $56 including tip not bad. Excellent quality of food and very very tasty. If you wanted to come here for just a salad it would be $18. We enjoyed lunch at this restaurant and location. The servers are nice and of course don't forget the Brazilian bread!

Came here for a business networking event and was really impressed! The food was delicious --especially the lobster appetizer (not sure of the name, but it was incredibly fresh and refreshing). The brownies with strawberries were also a standout--such a simple but tasty treat. Our server, Julia, provided exceptional service. She was attentive, organized, and handled our large group effortlessly while remembering everyone's requests. She recommended a perfectly balanced, refreshing non-alcoholic drink that wasn't too sweet, which I really appreciated! Great food, great service--I'd definitely come back

Fogo de Chao was, at one point my favorite restaurant. As a young professional, it's where I took my family with my first paycheck as an adult. Fogo de Chao is known for their all you can eat Brazilian churrasco feast and you really can't go wrong with it. Their picanha, beef rib, and lamb chops are great. If you enjoy their salad bar, then the pickled onions, grilled veggies, and chimichurri can really balance out the flavors of the meat. I think that their full churrasco experience is worth the $53 for lunch and $73 for dinner. Lately, I've been coming for more casual meals at their bar. They have an "all day happy hour" where you could get $6 appetizers and a $10 picanha burger. I ordered the burger with my last visit here and they massively overcooked it, so I wouldn't recommend that as my happy hour pick. Alternatively, I'd recommend a beef rib or "lamb lollipops" for under $20. Add a beer for $5 or a cocktail and a $6 bite and you're set for a lot cheaper than the churrasco experience. If I want to enjoy a special occasion, then I might come for their churrasco experience; however, I'm glad that I can casually get a really reasonable portion of meat, appetizers, and drinks at happy hour for a lot less than half of the cost of their all you can eat offering. And you can get even more value if you take advantage of their rewards program. When I had my burger that wasn't great, the rewards program got me a complimentary lobster and shrimp appetizer (retail: $48). While the seafood was pretty bland, it was still complimentary shrimp and lobster. If, for some reason, you have room for dessert when you eat here, then their crème brûlée is consistent and good. There are definitely more upscale churrasco experiences available now; however, Fogo is still a really good option and good value. More importantly, I'm glad that I can get smaller a la carte orders of the meats I want, either at the bar with their "all day happy hour" or to go, for a pretty reasonable price point.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse before the dinner rush. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing, and the service was wonderful from start to finish. Our server was very attentive, and the food was amazing. Even as a pescatarian, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The Chilean sea bass was absolutely incredible - perfectly cooked and literally melt-in-your-mouth good! The plantains are so delicious, I had at least two plates lol.

Walked in on a Friday afternoon and are goal was to try the happy hour, which is until 6:30pm on all days. Not so bad of a price! If you don't want to wait 5-7 minutes for set-up make a reservation online. We opted for the patio outside as it was lovely weather outside. It seems this is where the employees take their lunch too. I personally don't mind the extra chatter but some other customers may be bothered by it. Our server Yan was great, greeted us and answered any questions. I appreciate his honesty, and if he didn't know the answer he would go and check. We ordered two drinks, it was nice as they gave a sample for a drink I wanted to try and it was a good portion too. The Xingu Black was closest to a stout and my partner ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha, which was a bit more on the sweeter side. Both were good. We ordered 3 items from the All Day Happy Hour, which were the Saucy Legs, Picanha Burger with an upgrade to Yuca Fries, and Filet Mignon Board. The Picanha Burger came out quick, and it was good! We ordered it medium and split it down the middle. The chimichurri aioli sealed the deal. The Yuca fries were different, a little bit more tougher to chew than usual but after asking, our server (didn't know but got the answer later) is a root vegetable fried similar to french fries. I'm not sure if I'll upgrade next time but the burger was definitely delicious. We waited a good 10-15 minutes for our next course which was slightly disappointing. It's interesting because they have the Filet Mignons on sticks rotating around and it seems that they forgot about us. When we got our board, our server even asked us to try a piece as he knew it wasn't up at the desired cooking temperature. We tried a piece and it was too tough. He stated it would take ANOTHER 10 minutes, which was also disappointing. At this point we weren't sure if we would be getting the saucy legs too because it seemed that it was forgotten. About 5 minutes later, the Saucy Legs came out and it was tasty. Not bad for $6. Shortly after, another person (I assume manager) came out with the Filet Mignon board. I appreciate the extra effort on checking in after we had asked for another plate (which I don't do often). My partner let me know that there is complimentary cheese bread, so we asked for it and it came to us. Thinking about it now, it would've been nice to receive it in the beginning. Not sure if it has to be asked now. Overall the food was good along with the pricing. The wait was questionable as the restaurant wasn't as busy. I can't imagine how it'll be if it were busier. We will be back for another try.

Honestly, I was disappointed. We ordered the Tomahawk, and while it looked impressive, the flavor was pretty underwhelming. For the price and the type of restaurant this is supposed to be, I expected a lot more. The environment was okay, but it felt very crowded, which took away from the experience. For a higher-end steakhouse, I expected it to feel a little more comfortable and less packed. I also wasn't impressed with the service. We weren't checked on enough, and while that may have been because they were busy, it still affected the overall experience. Overall, it just didn't live up to the expectations or price point for me, and I would not come back.

I never expected to write a five star review for Fogo de Chão as a plant-based eater but here I am giving this place five stars! Meateater Hubby and I learned that Fogo de Chão offers an $18 ayce salad buffet during the weekday. The flavors and options are unlike what I would get at a standard salad bar. I filled up mostly on the plant-based proteins such as a chickpea, edamame, and black bean salad or the edamame noodle salad. There was also a delicious lentil soup. Other fresh produce included salad greens, mushrooms, hearts of palm, beets, capers, olives, and peppers. Like, fancy peppers such as peppadew and Peruvian drop peppers. As for cooked vegetables, there was roasted cauliflower, roasted zucchini, and roasted eggplant. Fresh fruit included papaya, yellow pineapple, pink, pineapple, and dragonfruit. I ate really well at this salad bar! The flavors are also fresh and colorful! I liked it so much that I decided to visit the Fogo de Chão in El Segundo a week later to bring my dad for his birthday. The one thing that I did notice about this particular location is that there were a little bit more dish options at the El Segundo location. But this Huntington Beach location has a one-up on the free parking, and I felt that the staff was friendlier as well.

This was my first time here. We were a group on about 20 people at happy hour. I ordered the crab cake. It was very good. Lots of meat and no filler. The hamburgers looked really good. What a deal for just $10. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I sampled several of the apps. They were all delicious. I'll definitely return and bring others with me. It was comfortable and no loud music, so we were able to have a nice conversation. The service was fine. I'm sure it was difficult for them having people order at all different times.

Love the ambiance, good for some special occasions. They have good foods, good service.

Here's a hack that everyone should do. Go to Costco and buy the discounted gift cards. Then come here. We came with my husband's cousin and wife and ordered from the Bar menu (all day Happy Hour). The bar food is delicious and much less expensive than the Churrasco ($73) - which is continuous tableside meat carving. With the bar menu, we got so much variety. They start you off with these free little balls that are really tasty. I didn't catch what they were made of, but it may have been agave flour? They were so good, we asked for more. Our server was very accomodating. Then we just went to town on the ordering: Jumbo Lump Crab Cake ($18), Filet Mignon Board ($17.50), Lamb Lollipops ($16), Queijo Assado ($6), Burrata & Roasted Tomatoes ($12), and Braised Beef Sliders ($14.50). All of this food was less than one person getting the Churrasco. We had a great time except for our server disappearing once we ordered. But we were able to flag down other servers to order more drinks, etc.. and to finally get our check at the end of the evening. I saw our server in the distance when we were leaving so I'm not sure if she was reassigned to another section, very strange. All in all, a great time, delicious food and wonderful company. We have another gift card so we'll be back soon!

    * Who: my partner, his older brother & sister, & myself * What: linner * When: Saturday 3pm-ish * Why: brother-in-law"s birthday * Space/Decor: open space with windows all around with high ceilings & brown/wood tones contrasted against lighter neutral colors that gives upscale country club. It's both nice but standard for a Fogo. * Service: I've been here 3-4x, & I want to say it's been an ever so slight miss more often than not, but I also get it b/c they can get busy. The staff themselves are friendly, but getting a server over can be a challenge at times. * Food: everything was good/standard. In case you haven't been, you pick between a full regular and full premium option, with the premium having additional varieties of meat. We started with some sangria (additional cost), which was yum! Then you go to their iced bar with a plethora of different side dishes between fruits, salads, veggies, soup, cheese, bread, rice, etc. Once you get that, you head to your table & flip your card to green! I usually try whatever comes my way, & this time I was digging the spicy sausage, but again everything else was tasty! * Final Thoughts: good restaurant with nice staff, plus flavorful food & yummy drinks in an ample & well decorated space equalling a great vibe for all types of occasions that can be a bit pricey but worth it. Would recommend & would return... again haha. * Final Grade: A or 9/10

I now understand why everyone raves about the all day happy hour! Fogo offers such incredible deals like the $15 bone and $6 empanadas that it's hard to find better anywhere else. The beef bone was juicy and tender. We also tried the beef empanadas and picanha burger. The empanadas came out hot and flavorful. The burger was soo juicy, but a little too fatty in my opinion. I would've appreciated more spices or a variety of flavors in the burger. We upgraded to the yucca fries and they came out extremely hard. Would not pay for the upgrade next time. Besides the food, we would absolutely come back to indulge in their yummy drinks as well! We loved the original and passionate caiparinhas. Great deals and friendly service. We were surprised how packed it was on a weekday afternoon!

It was busy while we were there mid afternoon with only one open table most of the time. The food is good but definitely has some small things to work on. The mac and cheese was very watery. The cali lobster rolls we tried were great but the classic butter lobster roll was dry and missing the butter. The grilled cheese and the quesadilla were just alright. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu. Just excited there is finally a local place to get decent lobster rolls at. My recommendation would be to focus on the lobster rolls and tacos. ditch the quesadillas grilled cheeses and lobster fries.

First off, the food is incredible: * I ordered the Mardi Gras Pasta (shrimp, andouille sausage, chicken, mushrooms in a marinara cream sauce) and it was SO flavorful, rich, and perfectly balanced * I also tried the Pernod Shrimp Pasta, which was lighter but still packed with flavor from the garlic, basil, white wine, and tomatoes * I also got to try some of my friend's seafood boil and it was delicious! Super flavorful without being overwhelming, which I really appreciated * I have to talk about the beignets... because WOW! They were better than Disneyland's (lol). Perfectly soft, warm, and just chef's kiss You can really tell everything is made fresh and with care. Portions were super filling and the presentation was honestly gorgeous! We had a group of 12 people and we booked their special events room and it was SUCH a fun experience. It had karaoke, TVs, a pool table, and a super cute backdrop! It was perfect for a group hangout or celebration. What made the night even more special was celebrating my birthday there! The team surprised me with a dessert (ice cream with fried bananas!) which was such a sweet and memorable touch. The vibe and ambiance overall was amazing! I'd 100% recommend this place for a group dinner or romantic date night to have your boyfriend peel your shrimps for you LOL. Service was outstanding, especially considering how busy it was. Huge shoutout to Christian, Nathan, Nathan, and Christine for taking such great care of our big group. They were all so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Yes, the wait was a bit longer since it was a busy night, but honestly the quality of the food and service made it completely worth it. You can really feel the love behind this place being family-owned, and it shows in both the food and the service! If you're looking for amazing and authentic cajun food, a beautiful atmosphere, and a place that truly takes care of you, Roux is the way!

They give you the option of either a 4oz or 6oz, priced at $34 and $49. It's a Connecticut style roll made with buttered lobster on a toasted brioche bun. It also comes with a side of fries and you can choose your choice of seasoning, "Chef's way" or "Maine style." The roll is pretty expensive but honestly worth it in my opinion because of how much lobster they pack into it. The brioche bread was perfectly toasted. The lobster was fresh and buttery without making the bread soggy, even after pouring extra melted butter on top. This is definitely the best lobster roll I've had.

We made a reservation for a Saturday night and were so excited and it really did not disappoint from start to finish. We got the puff bread with cultured butter with honey and furikake. OMG. I just... how can something so simply taste so delicious? Definitely a must try. We paired it with the salmon crudo and caprese with burrata. The salmon crudo was good, not blown away, but the caprese. Mmm! It came in a ponzu sauce and was this beautiful blend between Italian and Japanese flavors. So good. For our mains, my husband got the Seafood mafaldine and I opted for the Mala lamb pizza. This was such a unique pizza flavor, the hot honey sauce it came with tasted like a spicy, sweet curry and the pizza itself was delicious. Crispy crust, a little bit of cilantro for freshness. So good. To top it all off, we got the Blueberry pavlova and hazelnut cake. Both of these were incredibly indulgent and absolutely worth it. I think we were full for a whole day off this meal. To wash it down, I had the Highball with Suntory whiskey and a Calamansi Sidecar. I loved the assortment of Japanese whisky here, the cocktail menu was more tastefully curated than just trendy. On top of an excellent meal that I will be salivating over for a while, our server Danny was great! Super attentive, friendly, helpful and just a delight. Highly recommend!

The fries were seasoned well and maybe a little battered to lock in the flavor. It came out piping hot and fresh! So, yes I agree. The BEST fish and chips! Coleslaw was bland and had raisins. That visually was a turn off for me. Coleslaw didn't have enough dressing and was more like a cabbage salad. I don't remember any condiments on the tables. It would have been nice to have at least salt and pepper. Other items my table ordered: Caprese salad NO basil. You really can't call it Caprese salad then. Brussel sprouts. They were okay but definitely had too much of a "roasted" flavor (aka burnt). I could only eat a couple. Cioppino was okay. Again I wish it had more garlic and flavor. The sauce seemed more like marinara than a wine broth. We were there for a luau memorial. One of the regular musicians wife passed away. She was a regular and loved person at Simply Fish and in the Hawaiian community. We made reservations like we were instructed to do so. When we checked in ON TIME, we were told we would maybe be seated in an hour. The hostesses were kinda flippant and dismissive to the fact we followed the rules and made a proper reservation. They even said in front of us that more people came than expected who did NOT have reservations. It was the attitude of the hostesses that were unprofessional. I understand it was a memorial for a VERY loved individual but why punish the people who followed the rules? We did make a reservation. We did get seated only because another member of the community gave up their table and left early. It was a crazy busy night. Our server Linda was fantastic. She was still able to deliver fast and efficient service. We really appreciate her aloha and service. She was very fond of Auntie Consuelo too and it really showed. She was really helpful in ordering our food. The rest of the table wanted dessert. They ordered key lime pie and butter cake. I think the key lime pie was the better one of the two because that disappeared first. Butter cake looked like they torched it like a creme brûlée. I'm no pastry chef or connoisseur but that butter cake did not look like a butter cake. Calling the processed sauce coulis doesn't make it taste better. It still tasted like it came out of can. For MY food and service, it would have been 5 stars. All the food overall took away the 2 stars.
