    Chicken pad Thai.

The food was amazing. Ordered the crispy pork belly, sticky white rice, and chicken pad Thai. The service was fast, and the ambiance was good.

I was craving for some Lao food and this place popped up. They have onsite parking as well as street parking. I love places that have parking! Aside from that you'll walk in and it is small with temple decor. I was greeted and sat down. I had the Thai ice tea. It was perfectly sweetened the way I like it. I ordered mostly apps bc I was craving more Lao street food. I honestly did not wait long at all. I got the Lao egg rolls and you can never go wrong with egg rolls! I also got the Lao sausages. I'm sensitive when it comes to spicy and it was too spicy for me. It did have great flavor with the sticky rice but I was only able to taste one. I enjoyed the Lao chicken wings! It's flavorful and crispy! The Lao beef jerky was decent. I do like it on the sweeter side but if satisfied my cravings today. I would def come again it started to get busy once I finished my meal. I over heard other customers orders and they do all types of spicy levels.

Food is good most time we eat here. Service is pretty slow even if we order 45 mins ahead of time. Y'all just gotta have patients. The place is really small, there is about 4 tables only to dine in.

I came here several times during past two yearsand never disappointed. Food is authentic Laotian food, service little slow but understanding because home-cooking style. Mostly, servers are able to satisfy my special requests which is great.

    Yum seafood, wings, sticky rice.

Quick lunch in this eclectic tiny establishment. Absolutely delicious wings. And the yum seafood was perfectly tangy /savory / sweet and a tiny bit spicy. Next time I'll ask for more , but I'm sure they were just being careful for the white girl!

Authentic Laotian food made right. Great flavors and fresh ingredients. If you're looking for freshly prepared raw beef larb "Larb Dip" with spice and roasted rice powder. This is one of the spots to go for the authentic flavor. Papaya Salad - spicy (I asked for 15-20 peppers) and I was not disappointed on the spice level! Add some more fish sauce and fermented fish paste and it will Be golden! They have the infamous cow organ stew typically served with traditional Laotian food. The soup has it all and many more. Organs , tripe , intestines - if you are looking for traditional Laotian this is the spot.

Very delicious and authentic, especially "Duck larb". Worth driving 3 hrs from Albany

Their Laos sausage is not homemade. Brought from Laos or Thailand frozen and cooked. Very misleading when they say Homemade Laos Sausage. Taste like the store bought ones.

Definitely one of the better restaurants in the area. The food here is super flavorful and well balanced. The prices are reasonable while the portion sizes are My favorite things to order here are the spicy lab chicken, papaya salad and sticky rice! If you're ever in the mood for some very food, zeeb elee is the way go! It will be sure to satisfy your taste buds and make your tummy happy :)

Small place but very decorative. A bit chilly though in there. The workers there are nice. We were the only one there but somehow they didn't bring us any water until we were ready to order. I would think the first thing after seating you, you bring them water. We ordered 3 dishes, they were just ok. The raw beef salad has a bitter taste I wasn't familiar with. The nam kao was quite salty and didn't come with cilantro and leafy lettuce like expected. Lastly the spicy noodle salad, which was also salty and too watery. The only think that came out just right, was their overpriced sticky rice.

There are a lot of South-east Asian restaurants in Lowell, but very few specialize in Laotian cuisine - and I mean REALLY specialize. Formerly Phien's Kitchen (also Laotian cuisine), Zabb Elee has pretty much retained all of the interior atmosphere. The drink menus are the same, but you'll notice the menu has changed drastically. All of the menu items now have pictures above the names! Not only that, but every photo looks delicious and you can literally order what looks most appealing to you and not be disappointed. You have to be careful on some of the soups - they are actually "family style" and meant to be shared. Another big change you'll notice is the portion size, and I mean something in the range of 30% more food for the same price. The spiciness of some of the dishes has also been toned down, but not so much that it takes away from the flavor. Service is a little slow, and food might take a little longer if you have a party of four or more - but you can rest assured that it will be quality. My favorite dish here is the "Kadna Mu Krob", which if I had to translate poorly would be: "Chinese-Broccoli-with-something-something-Roast-Pork". The sauce compliments the veggies very well, and the pork has tender side with a crispy skin. It's slightly less spicy than it's predecessor, but the portion size makes it worth every penny. Be sure to try out this hole-in-the-wall hidden in a residential area. It really is a nice change of pace from Khmer cuisine. Did I mention you can request certain dishes to be cooked Khmer-style?

We're here for a Thursday night dinner. Decided on this place solely based on Yelp search and reviews. Chicken satay appetizer: five big and tasty long pieces of chicken on sticks. Mild flavored marinade. A few pieces of pickled veggies. Spicy string beans main dish: beans were fresh and gently stir fried. They were nice and crispy not overlooked. Spiced with garlic and chopped hot peppers in a brown sauce. Kra pao Kai-kai dao combination platter: chicken chunks with stir fried basil, hot peppers, onions, and green peppers. Spicy enough for my wife, but I dosed mine with the Srirachi sauce. Big pile of rice to accompany. Had a fried egg atop. Quite good. Wife and I ate our fill and there was plenty of good food for our student son's meal when his night class gets out. Friendly waitstaff. Interesting decor in the small dining area. Very fair prices for the servings. Reading prior reviews there was a remark about slow service - ours was quick, accurate and just right. We liked it and will probably return. We recommend.

Some food is good and spicy. If you don't like strange ingredients be sure to ask what is in the entrée.

Every dish I've ever tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the cooking here. On top of that, the staff is wonderful -- friendly and genuinely welcoming, which always makes us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, I have to rate my current experience four out of five stars due to an issue that significantly impacted our meal. While we were eating, there were cockroaches crawling on the wall near us, which was extremely unsettling and completely tainted the experience. It made it very difficult to continue enjoying our food, despite how delicious it was. I say this with sincerity: if the restaurant can fully address the cleanliness concerns, including any cockroach or rodent issues, I truly believe this place can return to being a solid five-star restaurant. The food and the people are already there -- it just needs that final, crucial piece to match the quality of everything else.

Though they advertise they serve both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, you won't find boat noodle soup or khao soi here for Thai food. For Vietnamese noodle soups, they do offer some of the other popular ones like bun bo hue, bun rieu, and bo kho. Here, they also have rice plates and vermicelli bowls too. I typically get their bun bo hue and it's good every time. Service is pretty quick and staff is always nice.

Normally, pad Thai is my litmus test at a new restaurant. Safe. Predictable. But not today. Khao Moo Grob was calling my name, and I never say no to crispy crackling pork. Ever. Good choice. This dish absolutely delivered. Deeply comforting, rich, and soulful--the kind of plate that feels like it came from a home kitchen, not a menu. You don't make food like this without some kind of Thai grandma quietly running the show in the back. I was also talked into the curry puff, which they only make in limited quantities daily. The filling? Not my favorite. But the puff pastry itself? Buttery, impossibly flaky, and executed to perfection. Honestly, they could've filled it with sand and I still would've finished it. And look--Billerica isn't exactly known as a culinary hotspot. But Bang Na Thai is doing something right. If I'm anywhere near the area again, I'm absolutely coming back

The flavor of the dish more than made up for it.

Overall, a MUCH-better-than-you'd-expect place with compelling flavors and really nice execution. General tip: Skip the copycat Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant fare that's probably there out of obligation, and stick to the Thai items where they really shine, and especially the entrees. Chicken Star: Flattened Thai style popcorn chicken, with decent crunch and a mostly pleasant flavor, although it's sweeter than it needs to be. A common area condiment station has ingredients to kick this up, but it's fine as is and a pretty good value too. Hot Wings: Less of a value, as the price has gone up and the portion has gone down of late (that's the case at all restaurants in the post-pandemic era), but these are large wing pieces, cooked to nail the contrast between crisp exterior and juicy center. Sweet tangy heat on top, basically your typical Thai sweet chile sauce a la Mae Ploy, but well executed. More of a concession to an American palate, but delicious nevertheless. Tofu Triangles: Crisp outside, tender inside, and enjoyable enough for carnivores that we got two orders for our party of six. Peanut dipping sauce on the side. I kick that up with chile condiments. Pork skewers (occasional special): Often called moo ping, with a lively thin, herby, crunchy dip, often called nam jim jaew. Tender and nice flavor with or without the condiment. Seaweed Salad: A healthy app that's a refreshing counterpoint to both the hot and the sweet. Have had it many times. Papaya Salad: Also refreshing, with lots of crunch, and lots of heat too, so it's more about its own flavor than counterpoint. Crisp, refreshing, but very mild compared to other versions I've had, especially Cambodian ones. You can vary the heat to your preference, as you can with all dishes. Chicken Larb: Served warm and fully cooked, this salad is spicy, herbal, sour, and light. Large portion. Khao Soi: Excellent noodles underneath, with just enough of the firmness still intact; the crunchy noodles on top are a higher grade than most. Made with protein of choice (I choose chicken), thick and spicy yellow curry, onions, scallions, pickled mustard greens, and herbs. Every aspect well executed. Chicken Grapow: Usually with ground crumbly chicken, sometimes long shreds, with a fairly light brown sauce leaning less on oyster sauce and more on the heavy use of sweet basil. Irresistibly flavored, it's one of their best dishes. Good flavor from the spices and good use of basil. Can be made as spicy as you like. Other Mix 'n' Match Plates: Like many Thai restaurants, you can pick your protein, or for non-meat eaters, vegetables, tofu, or seafood. All of these have been very good. There's no particular specialty I'd recommend over any other; go with your instincts. Pork Belly: Crispy but sometimes a little too fatty. Fish with String Bean: Fried, crunchy, tasty. Mildly spicy. Salmon Choo Chee: A thick slab of salmon, well cooked in its own right even before the sauce additions, but made tastier after a thick, tasty curry sauce whose heat can be customized. Served with broccoli crowns. Enjoyable as Thai food or simply as seafood. Beef Salad: Slightly warm in this rendition. Spicy, refreshing, faint hints of sweet, and a nice crunch from toasted rice. Sweet and Sour Fish: Not unlike what you might find in an old school Chinese restaurant, but with fried fish. Pineapples and cherry tomatoes, not cherries. Nice texture warm. Traditional and authentic? Who's to say, but a good dish for someone who's less adventurous with the unfamiliar Thai fare. Tofu with Eggplant: Crisp large chunks of tofu with crunchy vegetables, and the namesake eggplant velvety beneath the exterior.
