This past summer my friend referred me SUAN Moving. I had lots of vintage furnitures shipped from Asia, and stored in Torrence. I was so worried if they could protect my expensive vintage furnitures well. They did not disappoint me at all. SUAN Moving spent a full day moving and installing my furnitures. They were so careful when they packed and moved my furnitures. Nothing was damaged!!! I was very satisfied with their service. I absolutely would like to give Zhou and his SUAN Moving team a 5 stars review. And I will recommend this moving company to my friends when they need the service. read more

1 star for the movers but 5 stars for the business owners' attitude and customer service over the phone and in person. I called this company first to arrange a small and short distance move from West Covina apartment to Hacienda Heights house, which they were able to schedule me the next day. The 2 movers got to the apartment at 2:10pm, however they kept re-parking the truck until 2:16pm, then they made me sign the papers right away in 3 places, one is for accepting the start time at 2:10, second signature is for the end time and then the last signature for completion, fine. (Friendly reminder to sign 1 at a time, I was very inexperienced). As they started moving, I see one of the movers using his whole body weight to push down my packages, and not bothering asking me if it's fragile or not. When it comes to the bedroom, seems like he didn't even want to wrap and protect my mattress, so I had to speak up and tell him to. They end up not wrapping and protecting my mattress support board and the headboard, he just carried it out, which indeed got scratched. Then as they unload into the hacienda house, I see my bundle of electronics dropped onto the concrete, which is how my printer and laptop got destroyed. (Please open and double check your belongings if dropped right away, which I regret to do so very badly) but I don't regret carrying my desktop computer myself. My table was also damaged and the mover asked me about how did that happen....ughh wth!? Seems like these movers needs to be babysat throughout the whole move in order to protect your belongings. (Do follow them back and forth to keep an eye on your stuff) And I most likely believe one of the man took a cigarette break because he came back with strong cigarette odors. Also please read the declarations on the papers before starting the move, their coverage of broken items are 0.60/lb!!! Also watch out on timing, the move started 2:10 and ended at 5:54, but it's counted for 4 hours. So over 10mins is counted as a whole half hour. (Which I was not notified of at all) For my printer they found and gave me a used printer of the exact model. The laptop hardware was transferred onto another Mac of the same model in a professional computer shop which was paid for by the moving company. Overall ceecee and her boss are very professional. I'd consider doing business with them again, however with a different set of movers. read more

I appreciate that they are able to accommodate my moving date. I called late afternoon yesterday and the girl (who was super nice) scheduled a 6:15am appointment for me for today. I love the customer service. For the actual moving part... They arrived 10 minutes late. The 2 movers are extremely slow. I have 1 couch, 2 chairs, 4 night stands, 1 work desk, 2 small ikea glass shelves, 1 coffee table, 1 4-seater round glass dining table with 4 chairs, 1 hallway table, 6 paintings, 5 lamps,1 queen size bed (bed frame and mattress), about 10 pillows, 4 small/medium sized cardboard boxes of stuff The other moving company (with 2 movers) was able to move twice as much furniture out of a house in 1 hour. This company..the 2 movers wrapped everything slowly. I am waiting for them in the car as we are speaking. It has been 1 hour on the clock already and the only things that are on the loading dock of their truck are: 2 night stands, 1 coffee table, and 1 chair If only the other moving company's minimum hours were 2 hours, I would have used them instead. I am not even sure if they can finish loading my stuff in the warehouse within the time I booked. read more

Took 14 hrs for a one bedroom apartment, said it was bc I had too much stuff, when I complained they kept saying "one more hour" the owner literally shut the move down and threatened that they would drive away with my stuff if I didn't pay right then and there. And then called me a scammer bc I didn't have the money for 12+hrs.. I have moved all this stuff multiple times, never taken more than 7-8 hrs. CeCe the owner is a liar who will hold your stuff hostage and threaten to drive away with everything you own if you complain... Then she kept telling me I was the problem, I had too much stuff, tried to say I cursed her men and all kinds of stuff. She has excuses for everything. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. SHE THREATENED TO STEAL MY BELONGINGS BECAUSE I COMPLAINED, which is illegal. They are also unregistered movers. Ask CeCe for her company's DOT number so you can verify her license.. she will not be able to provide. They have no legal license to move household goods! read more

I did use SUAN moving two times. The first time was great, efficiency, fairly priced. The second time was sucks, they almost broken my dining table and denied what they did. Bad experience. read more

I used SUAN Moving Company twice. The first time they were absolutely incredible. They were fast, and efficient. They wrapped everything with moving blankets and plastic wrap. All my furniture was very well protected. However, the second time I booked them they were moving very slowly (a lot slower than the first time). The first time we booked them they did it all in 2 hours, I had about a studio apartment worth of furniture and boxes. This time I had less stuff since I moved most of the boxes myself before they arrived, but they took 3 hours. They didn't use a single moving blanket. They just wrapped my furniture with plastic wrap, even the furniture that had glass. They didn't wrap my couch cushions at all, and put them in the truck without protection. They even asked me if I could take the class top to my tv stand my car because they didn't want to wrap it. What? Unfortunately, I could not be in the apartment when they were moving stuff. They had to park in front of a fire hydrant so they asked me to wait outside and keep an eye on the truck. I went in a few times to clean up a few things and take some smaller stuff out. But every time I went in, they asked my to wait outside. I get it, but it was very hard for me to keep an eye on everything, which I think contributed to them moving slowly. They also took a longer time driving to the new location. It's about a 8-10 min drive but they took over 20 mins, I even called them because I thought they got lost. So overall, very disappointed with the second time I booked them, and unfortunately will not be booking them again. read more

I was a bit hesitate to use suan moving because there weren't many reviews and I decided to use them because they gave me the best quote. I'm so glad that i made that decision. The moving experience was very smooth. The team of three is very professional and efficient. The furniture is nicely wrapped and carefully handled. Strongly recommend this company! read more

Mr. Zhou and his team are awesome! They are professional and efficient people. They wrapped up all the furniture very carefully and delivered, re-assembled everything on time. I had a very good experience with them for this cross state moving. Trust worthy company and highly recommend! read more

Work slowly to consume more time to ask for more money. That's not honest. Better to raise the rate instead of wasting both parties' time.

I am thankful to the choice I made among all the quotes I got. SUAN moving provided not only super efficient schedule but also professional service. Very friendly mover, they also helped me to arrange all my staffs properly so that they can be stored in a size-limited storage place. The price is very reasonable. You won't regret if you choose SUAN moving! read more
