2 slices of jalapeño and little cheese tamale. Thumbs down on this one
Addyo W.

I always come here for the Pan and it never disappoints. Today after church we decided to stop and get fresh sweet bread and try the Tamales. Well I wish I could say they were great but I was disappointed because they were all Masa and very little jalapeño and cheese. I get it it's a lot of work to make tamales but I don't think I would be happy trying to order them again especially at 3.10 a piece.

Pork tamale, pretty big

Came to try the tamales and glad I did! The pork tamales are very close to the way my mom makes them, very delicious! The masa tends to break apart, but other than that they're yummy! The parking lot is small, so go before lunch time to avoid it being full. I haven't tried the Mexican bread yet, but I'll have to try it next time.

I love this bakery customer service is a ten and the bolio is so soft and powdery

Love it best place for bolio and customer service is the best if you are looking for a staple bakery this has to be it

Pork Tamale

My husband and I were out in Riverside yesterday morning and I wanted a little snack. I looked on yelp for tamales. I read some reviews and decided to check this place out. I was a bit concerned about the parking, but the parking lot was pretty empty when we arrived. There were only two people in line in front of me, which was great. I asked for a cheese and jalapeno tamale (my favorite type!), but the cashier told me that they wouldn't be ready for about 10 minutes. I ordered a pork tamale, and I ate it in the car. The pork tamale was very good, so we went back and I ordered cheese and jalapeno, pork, and chicken tamales. Unfortunately, the cheese and jalapeno tamale was my least favorite. There was way too much masa. The chicken was good, but half of it had a bunch of green sauce and the other half was dry. The pork was definitely my favorite. It had just the right amount of spiciness. My quest for a to-die-for cheese and jalapeno tamale continues.

Best tamales ever. I'm usually not a big fan of tamales because I find them too dry, but wholly molé these are great! Especially the cheese

I'm very suspicious of their conchas, I have a feeling they are donuts in disguise. But the other sweet bread is good so far.

As soon as we walked in, Clara welcomed us with a warm smile and was incredibly sweet and helpful. She took the time to explain the different cheesecake sizes, flavors, and additional tarts they had available, which helped us to decide what to try. The shop was very clean and had plenty of seating, making it a nice spot to stop in and enjoy a sweet treat. I chose the original Japanese-style cheesecake, which was light, airy, and almost whipped in texture. I enjoyed it, although I personally would have preferred it to be a little sweeter. They offer additional toppings like chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, and caramel sauce for just $1.25 extra. We decided to try the cheesecake as is this time, but I would like to try it with the strawberry sauce next time. We also tried the cheese tart and toasted coconut tart, and both were delicious! It was nice being able to sample a few different treats that they had. Overall, we had a lovely first visit, and Clara's excellent customer service definitely made the experience even better. I'm giving it 4 stars because I would have liked the original cheesecake to be a bit sweeter, but I'd happily come back to try more flavors and toppings. If you enjoy light, fluffy Japanese-style cheesecake, this place is worth checking out!

Super light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, which makes it dangerously easy to keep eating. Pairing it with their cold brew was honestly the move--the coffee and cheesecake together were . The location itself is pretty small, so in my opinion this is more of a grab-your-cheesecake-and-go kind of spot rather than somewhere you're going to hang out for a while. The parking lot can also get pretty busy, so just keep that in mind. Definitely coming back because now I need to try some of the other flavors. If the Original was this good, I have some research to do.

It was our first spot and they did not disappoint. We weren't planned to get a dozen but we did and share some with our friends. Their cupcakes are super moist, not too sweet, and just delicious. At first I thought it would be heavy because of how much frosting is it. But to our surprise it wasn't and just perfect sweetness. Got banana pudding, strawberry & cream, Tre leche, pumpkin pie, banana cookie butter, and carrot cakes. Our favorite would be strawberry & cream, banana pudding, and carrot cake. That's one of the best carrot cake for sure. Customer services was great and great recommendation. I got to meet the owner for a little bit and she's so sweet too. Definitely will have to come back when we are in town again.

The entire reason why I put in a special order was because I was told one of the flavors I wanted would be changed out on the day I needed to pick up the cupcakes and I wanted the cupcakes to be fresh. I was assured that the bakers that day would see the order and make the cupcake flavor special for my order. Lo and behold, I walk in to collect my order on time and I'm told they dont have my order ready AND they dont have the specific flavor I requested! The person helping me looked at my order and it was the first time she had ever set eyes on it. I had already pre paid for the order at this point and did not have another option so I was SOL. Instead they gave me an old cupcake in the requested flavor that they had stored in a fridge for who knows how long and filled out the rest of the order with what was in the display. So I basically paid full price for old cake. This was my first experience with this bakery and if this is how they treat something as basic as a simple small cupcake order, how am I to trust them to handle anything more complex like a custom cake or a wedding order? No thanks.

Heading towards wine country, it was along the way off the 60. Made it easy as it was a couple minutes off the freeway. It's located in a pretty massive strip mall with loads of other businesses. Plenty of parking which is alway a good thing whenever you're somewhere. Simple storefront but once you walk inside the place was pretty big. On side of the bakery is where the pastries and baked goods are. If you haven't been to one of the chain stores, you grab a tray and help yourself to the package sweets. There's rows and rows of fresh baked daily goods. Every piece is individually wrapped. Not only sweets, there's also sandwiches which I didn't even know they had. Along the front where the cashier is, whole cakes and slices are available. Once you finished picking out what you want, take the tray to the counter and that's where they ring things up. Drinks can also be ordered there. I did pick up a couple of boxes of the individual pastries and sweets. Both savory and sweets. A while strawberry cake and two drinks. That came up to about 108.00. The staff were all pretty sweet and friendly. I overheard one of the other cashier asking another patron if they wanted something heated up. Which I asked the cashier that was ringing my order up but she couldn't heat my croissant up as it wasn't the pre wrapped sandwiches. Only sandwiches could be heated up. Oh well. As I ordered drinks, which the other half of the cafe is the dining area. First off, the place was pretty massive and majority of the space in the middle isn't utilized. Just an open space which the could have added more tables for seating. Even though there was good amount of people working the drinks counter, it took forever for our drinks to be ready. It seemed like only one person was making the drinks which I think took at least 10 minutes for my drinks to be ready. Overall, it a nice space and the shelves were fully stocked.
