Way overpriced for the amount of food you get. Parking - pretty awesome. There are several lots and you can park on top of the deck. Space - small to medium. Several tables + bar area. Service - was OK. I think they need to staff more people. We had to flag someone down to order. Also, the staff members that were working were moving way too fast. They can't see customers if they need help. Food: I came for lunch once. Got the Chicken Teriyaki box. It came with different items (like rice, sushi, soup, etc). But the portion of the chicken teriyaki was soooo small. Tiny. Even though other items were present, the box was way too much price wise. I'd rather go to Taki in Dunwoody. Forgot the price, but should have been 2 to 3 bucks cheaper due to portion. Dinner - ordered same because I'm super lazy. This time, the Chicken Teriyaki only came with rice. Holy cow- Tiny amount of both items. Wow. After tax, it was like 15 bucks. Total BS. Price for the portion itself should have been 9 to 10 dollars. Even if I lived in the apts here, I'd rather drive to BuHi for a meal. read more

This place has it all! Fresh fish, great friendly service, and a great Sake selection. But by far, the reason you must try it today, is the sushi rolls! They have a great sushi chef who has thoughtfully put together each roll with a carefully balanced flavor profile that will knock your socks off! And the roll combinations are new ones that you won't see everywhere as well as new takes on familiar favorites! Go now! read more

I try not to be too judgmental because I'm used to NYC quality sushi... but this place left a lot to be desired. There sushi rolls I ordered were extremely bland and I still felt hungry after eating 2 rolls. Additionally, there wasn't enough wasabi or soy sauce in my to go bag after having ordered 4 rolls in total - giving us 3 soy sauce packets for all of the sushi we ordered is like a slap in the face! read more

Loved the sushi my bf and I got here! We went during Valentine's Day weekend and came earlier around 6pm. They were great about distancing tables and the staff were wearing masks. I highly recommend the M80 roll and the Shrimp Killer II! There is plenty of parking available in the back of the restaurant. read more

This is absolutely my new favorite sushi restaurant. The owners Anna and Kenny have a winner here. Kenny works as the chef while Anna keeps things running smoothly. My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday and it was not packed. I suspect this will change soon as more people discover how great this place is. Also, most sushi restaurants nearby are closed on Sunday so this was unexpected bonus. The service is on par then any chic Buckhead restaurant. The menu is extensive and imaginative. We ordered a sushi selection and a couple of their special rolls. Everything was super fresh and delicious! I am one of the pickiest diners out there so this says a lot. I highly recommend this new gem in Chamblee right off Chamblee Tucker near the Marta station. read more

We have ordered carry out multiple times since the pandemic and have been in person prior to. I recently ordered carry out again and had my 8 month old with me. One of the servers was so kind to carry my order to my car with me! The owner is very kind as well. Hard to be competitive with sushi around here because there are so many places, but the quality has been consistent and the service is the icing on the cake! read more

This place was sensational. Absolutely fresh fish from Japan, with delicate flavors. I had this coconut sake which was light and sweet and balanced the rich flavors. I had the Buckhead roll, Chili ceviche, creamy rock tempura (most popular appetizer), albacore nigiri, tuna jalapeño bombers, spicy tuna roll and a fried spicy tuna nigiri. The only thing I didn't like was the chili ceviche was extremely sweet. Would come again without hesitation. read more

Hello All, The Delorean-Astorian is back from hibernation! And I've found myself at the BEST sushi restaurant south of the Mason Dixon. No joke, this is the best sushi I've had in Atlanta and I've been to Tomo, Umi, and all the other "hot" spots. The fish is incredibly fresh, the sushi rolls are very creative, and the service is top notch (did I mention how fresh the fish is?). Get the tuna, get the salmon. It's all good. Rock shrimp, cucumber salad, gyoza, and on and on. Welcome to the neighborhood Yuzu. You deserve to be a star! read more

We were excited for this place due to closeness to home,first night they closed earlier,when I inquired they say that it was because they ran out of rice. The second time we went there was only a few busy tables..food was taking 35 minutes to arrive..we only order sashimi combo The soup was cold.so we literally stand up and left.. Hopefully they get better read more

I didn't notice it at the time, but our friend pointed it out towards the end of our meal, and it left a very negative impression. Our server was also inattentive. He checked on nearly every table around us multiple times but rarely came by ours. We ordered over $150 worth of food for just the two of us, yet received very little service. Despite that, we still left a 20% tip. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. A lot of the food arrived cold. The quality and taste were nowhere near as good as what we remembered from previous visits. After giving this restaurant multiple chances, we can confidently say we will not be returning.

What this means is the cost (c) is way too high, giving it a low 1-5 in the equation. Also, quantity (q) is low, about 4-6. So, the resulting coefficient is very low overall. From my understanding, the fish here only comes from Japan, so it's good stuff - and they really load up the rolls (a lot of the time), and they have this deal on weekend for special rolls (25% off I think). So you do get the quality, quantity, and decent price (about $12-15 per specialty roll). The regular rolls are good too, and loaded with fish. E.g. spicy salmon/tuna. TLDR: 16 courses of very fresh fish for $78. Some were better than others with the uni wagyu,…read moreotoro, and akami as the stand outs for me. Comparable to mid tier omakase in NYC, but more courses. Definitely worth the price, will come again, 10/10 for value, 8/10 taste wise. Came here for a date with my wife after a recommendation from some friends. Make sure to place a reservation on Resy ahead of time. The decor and vibe inside is pretty intimate with dim lighting, but you are only separated from other omakase tables by a curtain so there is some noise overlap. Our chefs were gracious to answer my questions, although I do wish they had explained the dishes more while presenting them. Many of them had toppings that I had to ask about. The sushi itself was a bit on the smaller side but that's understandable for 16 courses and the price. Sometimes I did feel like the nigiri was not compact enough and the fish was not sticking to the rice (could be my own skill issue). Every bite of fish was fresh, no fishy taste at all. Here's a breakdown of each bite I had. Salmon sashimi: very firm with nice bite. Almost like smoked salmon. Rice crisps add nice texture. Pretty fatty. 8/10 Ika: squid, I love squid. Firm texture with fatty chew. Rice almost too warm? Little grainy for this round. Slight smoky flavor from the blow torch 7.5 Hamachi yellowtail: very clean taste. Slight sinew, but overall excellent. 8.6 Hotate Scallop: texture of scallop was excellent. Melts on your tongue and sweet. Bit too much wasabi though, slightly overpowering. Could've been a 9, is an 8 Hirame Fluke: had lime zest on top which was nice. Pretty soft, slight sinew. Felt like it needed more flavor, not my favorite 6.8 Shima Aji striped jack: I love the texture of striped jack, both firm and tender. Was pretty fatty as well. 8.3 Ikura salmon roe: first time I've had it with yuzu peel on top. Adds nice sweetness and citrus flavor to the more briny flavor of the ikura. The ikura was fairly fresh tasting, but there was a bitter aftertaste. First bite: 8, full plate 7/10 Kanpachi amberjack: fish itself was super fatty, tasted very fresh. I think the amount of ginger scallion sauce on mine was a bit overpowering and took away from the fish itself. 7.9/10 Miso black cod(?): very well cooked, nice and sweet glaze. The crisps on top added good texture and sweetness as well. 8.1/10 Akami lean tuna with pickled wasabi root: this one was basically all you can ask for from Akami. No fishy taste at all, super clean. Very tender, no sinew. 9 Madai sea bream: blowtorches and topped with some kind of garlic chili crisp. Pretty tasty, nothing special. 7.9/10 OToro with caviar: most of it melts in your mouth but sadly mine had some sinew I had to chew through. Otherwise a perfect bite, no fishiness at all. Caviar added some salt and texture but otherwise I couldn't not discern a taste. 8.5 A5 Wagyu and uni: as someone who usually does not like uni, this was fantastic. The uni was very sweet and creamy, and the Wagyu tasted fantastic. Flavors mix surprisingly well. My Wagyu was a little sinewy instead of just melting in mouth, but the flavor was really good. 8.9 Kani blue crab: has yuzu for sure. I think this has mayo? Something is a little too rich without enough to balance it. Crab flavor could be stronger. 6/10 Unagi: standard unagi, maybe a bit salty. Nice sweetnesss too. 7.5 Green tea mochi ice cream with strawberry: tastes like the green tea mochi you get from Asian supermarkets. More bittersweet compared to matcha flavored stuff. I'm very partial towards this flavor cause I had it growing up a lot. Strawberry was not very sweet lol. 7.5 Will definitely come again!

Underwhelming. The…read morenigiri was very basic, with none of the creative accompaniments or thoughtful elements I associate with omakase. The menu also appears to change very little which is kind of odd. There was no chawanmushi, nothing grilled beyond perhaps a light torching, no dashi course, and the nigiri progression felt disjointed. I do not remember every course, but two had significant sinew, which made them unpleasant to eat. Overall, the flavors lacked complexity. While the price may seem modest for omakase, our bill was $225 for two with sake before tip, and the sake selection left much to be desired. The counter was extremely crowded, and guests were filed in and seated like a Disney World queue. There was less than an inch between chairs, making the experience uncomfortably tight. Our neighbors filmed their entire meal with their phone on the bar - how is this allowed? Service was adequate at best: our water glasses sat empty, our chef seemed annoyed even when placing courses in front of us, and we were rarely told what we were eating beyond the type of fish. If there were toppings or preparations, they were not explained. Several courses were simply disappointing, especially the scallop, ikura, and Ika. The ikura seemed to come straight from the container without preparation or marinade, the ika was tasteless, and two courses were notably sinewy. King salmon -- Nicely fatty, but surprisingly strong for the opening course of an omakase Ika -- Torched, but tasteless Albacore -- Served with ponzu sauce and scallion Kanpachi -- Very sinewy Hirame -- Finished with lime zest Madai (sea bream) -- Served with chili crisp sauce; very good Ikura (salmon roe) -- Appeared to be served straight from the container, without preparation or marinade Hotate (Hokkaido scallop) -- Served with charcoal salt, but tasteless Miso black cod -- Served with yuzu miso sauce; I am not sure why it was placed in a hand roll with rice Akami -- Served with pickled wasabi; the fish was frozen Wagyu with uni -- No substitution was offered for pescatarians Crab hand roll -- Essentially mayonnaise and crab; very one-note Unagi -- Barbecued eel Mochi For my money I would head to Chirori or Brush

And I almost forgot about the soup that came at the end! HEAVENNNN! It was so savory and packed with flavor. It was the perfect way to wash down all that raw fish you just ate. The drinks were good as well. Overall, Nori Fish is such a cute spot for a date night. The service was great, and everyone was very attentive. You can really tell the staff works well together as a team. From the servers to the chefs, everyone had their assigned duties and everything flowed really well. Next time I come, I definitely want to sit at a table and try some of the other things off the menu. We didn't get to try everything because we got FULL from the Omakase! Came by after being on the road late and looking up places One Sushi popped up as a suggestion and…read moreI'm so glad I came by. The owners wife served us and she was so sweet and attentive. There's a physical menu but you order through the iPad at the table and it also provides photos and detailed descriptions of everything. I had the salmon love roll and it was AMAZING the salmon tasted so fresh and we were told her husband gets the top quality salmon and fish for all of the sushi. He doesn't use msg either. It was quiet but I also came in at 9pm but the overall atmosphere was peaceful low music and quiet conversations. There's a cute set up of string lights on the iPad and when you need assistance you just turn the light on. I'll definitely come back and wish this location much success.
