Good, service and ambiance are all great! I've enjoyed the food every time I've been there.

Every time I enter Yuzu, I am greeted with a warm welcome. I am usually immediately seated. Miss Anne is phenomenal. There have been a couple of times they were busy but it is a cool environment to wait and people watch. They now have an outdoor patio seating too. One of the greatest thing I can say is the consistency of the food. Everything I have had is taste great. Some of my favorites are the tempura vegetables, tempura oysters, the mussels, and a few sushi rolls. Everything I have tried, I have enjoyed. Delicious sushi in Chamblee. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was so good we had to order another one! The sashimi tasted fresh and delicious - we went with the sashimi appetizer platter. Definitely recommend the Salmon with creamy onion tobiko. We also ordered a variety of the simple sushi rolls. We left extremely full, happy and all for a very reasonable price. The restaurant is fairly simple it has a sushi bar to sit at but no bar for drinks - they do serve drinks just not from a stand alone bar. It was extremely quiet within the restaurant on the Thursday night we visited. Service however was very efficient and extremely quick. We will be back for more spicy tuna on crispy rice! read more

My girlfriend and I come here for toro (bluefin tuna belly) nigiri sushi. We've had toro in multiple places (in Atlanta, in other cities in the US, and in Tokyo), but the quality of toro here generally is comparable to those in Tokyo. For seafood in a lot of different locations, you can tell it was frozen and wasn't flash frozen delicately. I'm sure toro was frozen here also (due to safety regulation), but honestly, it just simply melts in your mouth regardless. Often times, other Japanese restaurants skimp out on the amount of the meat itself for toro. Here, they give you two nigiri sushi per order AND the chef usually (actually every time we've come) has a small additional piece of sashimi for each order of toro as a treat. read more

We ordered sushi for pickup on a Saturday evening, and when we arrived a couple minutes early it was already ready for us. We ordered the yellowtail roll, spicy dynamite roll, and 8 PCs of nigiri. They were well packaged with no tip-overs or spillage, and were just the right temperature when we arrived home. The individual nigiri pieces came with some pretty hefty slices of fish on top. The favorite of the individual pieces was definitely the salmon with creamy onion; it was almost like a Japanese version of a bagel with cream cheese and lox. Such a great flavor combination! The spicy dynamite roll was the dark horse of all the offerings, as it was a hot sushi roll. I would consider it more of a fun appetizer as opposed to a main course, but it was delicious! All in all it was about $75 after tax and tip, which was pricier than our normal take out dinners but still pretty worth it in my option for the flavors and quality. read more

Our company just moved offices, and we've been on the hunt for a new go-to sushi place. We discovered Yuzu today for lunch, and were definitely pleased! They have a huge selection of UNIQUE rolls, as well as the classic standbys. I enjoyed the Cucumber Sunomono (the best I've come across, to be honest) and the Crazy Spicy Tuna Roll, which was just the right amount of filling and light enough for lunch. The staff were all super friendly, and the interior was decorated in a really inviting manor. Right now, it seems like a hidden gem, which is great for us (no wait!) but we definitely want to see them succeed and hang around to feed us for years to come! :) read more

Love this place because you can always count on them having fresh fish at affordable "Chamblee" prices. I'm a bit of a stickler because I know what the mark up is on sushi so have a hard time justifying paying over $18 - $26 a roll in a restaurant i Buckhead or Midtown. Chef Kenny Kim and his wife, Anna are some of the nicest business owners you'll ever meet. They have such a loyal following of customers that when they opened up this Chamblee location, several of their regular customers who live or work in the Buckhead/Brookhaven area would stop by for lunch or dinner. This just shows you that customer service + quality food goes a long way. Everyone on the staff is splendid. They are courteous, polite, efficient and truly care about customer satisfaction. I have always appreciated the quality of fish and service with each visit to YUZU. Some of my favorite rolls are the Alaskan roll, double salmon roll and the Chamblee crunch roll. If you're in the Chamblee area, they are located in The Oliver of Chamblee parking lot, across from Five Guys/Walmart. Plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant and around the corner. I look forward to introducing more friends to this local Chamblee sushi spot in the near future. Can't wait to return for lunch or dinner soon! read more

This place was super cute. I guess it's newer, not from the area. Nothing super special about it but the service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere inviting. The sushi was pretty good too. My favorite roll was the Kiss of Fire. Yum. Lots of fresh tuna and tomato in a creamy spicy sauce on top of a California roll. If you're in the area and want sushi - this place is definitely a good spot to try. read more

I went my first time last weekend and got a variety of rolls and the 2 pieces sushi. All the rolls we had were very good! we did accidentally get multiple fried rolls which were good but a little rich and filling so the second time we came this weekend we stuck to the non fried rolls and everything was amazing!! The 2 piece eel sushi was my favorite by far as well as the salmon and avocado roll and the eel and cucumber roll. The server was shocked by how quickly we ate everything haha. The owner (manager?) even remembered us from last time! the whole staff is very polite and helpful and everything is priced fairly. We also enjoyed the Kizakura coconut nigori sake as well. My review is based solely on a brief lunch visit today. One of our company vendors invited me to lunch and chose this sushi restaurant. Since I am in KETO Way of Life, rolls of sushi with breading or rice were not happening on this week day lunch (I save those for my Cheat Saturday) I was pleased to get a little recommendation from the server from the YUZU SUSHI SPECIAL PLATES. I opted for these two: Creamy Salmon with Black Tobiko: YASSSS!! Japanese Ceviche: WHAT!!! These two options were right up my alley, and I was well fed and it all was seasoned great, and fish was super fresh which is primordial! Even though their patio was closed, they allowed us to eat outside. The waitperson said it could take a bit longer. It did not. In fact, we were well taken care of through the entire dinner. I was visiting a friend from out of town and we decided on this sushi place on a whim. All I can say it I am so happy we did. The food was amazing and may have ruined all sushi for me. Service - was OK. I think they need to staff more people. We had to flag someone down to order. Also, the staff members that were working were moving way too fast. They can't see customers if they need help. Food: I came for lunch once. Got the Chicken Teriyaki box. It came with different items (like rice, sushi, soup, etc). But the portion of the chicken teriyaki was soooo small. Tiny. Even though other items were present, the box was way too much price wise. I'd rather go to Taki in Dunwoody. Forgot the price, but should have been 2 to 3 bucks cheaper due to portion. Dinner - ordered same because I'm super lazy. This time, the Chicken Teriyaki only came with rice. Holy cow- Tiny amount of both items. Wow. After tax, it was like 15 bucks. Total BS. Price for the portion itself should have been 9 to 10 dollars. This is absolutely my new favorite sushi restaurant. The owners Anna and Kenny have a winner here. Kenny works as the chef while Anna keeps things running smoothly. My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday and it was not packed. I suspect this will change soon as more people discover how great this place is. Also, most sushi restaurants nearby are closed on Sunday so this was unexpected bonus. The service is on par then any chic Buckhead restaurant. The menu is extensive and imaginative. We ordered a sushi selection and a couple of their special rolls. Everything was super fresh and delicious! I am one of the pickiest diners out there so this says a lot. I highly recommend this new gem in Chamblee right off Chamblee Tucker near the Marta station. read more

This place was sensational. Absolutely fresh fish from Japan, with delicate flavors. I had this coconut sake which was light and sweet and balanced the rich flavors. I had the Buckhead roll, Chili ceviche, creamy rock tempura (most popular appetizer), albacore nigiri, tuna jalapeño bombers, spicy tuna roll and a fried spicy tuna nigiri. We have ordered carry out multiple times since the pandemic and have been in person prior to. I recently ordered carry out again and had my 8 month old with me. One of the servers was so kind to carry my order to my car with me! The owner is very kind as well. Hello All, The Delorean-Astorian is back from hibernation! And I've found myself at the BEST sushi restaurant south of the Mason Dixon. No joke, this is the best sushi I've had in Atlanta and I've been to Tomo, Umi, and all the other "hot" spots. The fish is incredibly fresh, the sushi rolls are very creative, and the service is top notch (did I mention how fresh the fish is?). Get the tuna, get the salmon. It's all good.
