The goodness that comes from their ovens is beyond compare. The ingredients they use are things like oat milk, sunflower butter, and more. Everything is handmade on a daily basis. I absolutely love the chocolate rugelach, chocolate chip cookies (best ever!), blueberry muffins, chocolate croissant, French batard bread, and sourdough bread. The only part with purple color was the tip of the shell. I can see grease soaked the wax paper on the bottom of the cake. Not sure how long it sat there on the shelf. So, I went back next morning to see if they have fresher ones on the shelves. I saw the one I left the night before. Ahhh... moon cakes must be shelf stable. Not! Each baked goods should have date time stamps. I felt cheated. Pink Box Bakery is the only Chinese bakery in Squirrel Hill. I think I'll go to Korean or French Bakery on my next visit.
