Pork banh mi
Meralina M.

This place is really worth the value! You get a decent amount of food for the affordable price they charge! The bread is perfectly crunchy and soft and the pork meat is well seasoned! The taro was a little bland, but it was still good and a decent serving for the price. The service here is incredibly friendly and quick as well. Lots of parking because it's in the same parking lot as Fred meyer :) It will definitely be a go to lunch spot for us now!

I come here during the week for lunch at least once, And everything is so amazing!!! Fresh ingredients, Great customer service, Good prices, And chill atmosphere. I love the spring rolls, especially the grilled pork & their peanut sauce is the best

The food I wished to enjoy.

I am rating 2 stars because I have only eaten at this pho one time and I enjoyed the pho so I was excited to try this place Again! however I was shook at the findings of a bread tie in my soup I mean I almost swallowed that bread tie and I just felt un easy not sharing these photos because what if this happens to a child and they actually swallow a bread tie? Or anyone else for that matter. I did let the gentlemen know and he did replace my bowl but overall it was very off putting and I didnt even want to eat anymore. .

Grilled Pork Bahn Mi

We wanted to pick up some sandwiches for our flight the next day and have some soup for a cold and drizzly day. Yummy Deli was pretty close to our hotel and seemed perfect for what we were craving. Kid's Pho w/ Brisket ($6.95) - Okay, so we wouldn't normally get this but we just wanted a very small portion of pho, something warm on a cold day. Yeah, we could tell this is aimed towards kids. No aromatics or vegetables, just a couple of slices of brisket and vermicelli in the pho broth. The broth is very sweet, not my favorite. We probably should have gotten a normal pho instead, but I'm not convinced it would have been too much better given the other reviews stating the broth is sweet. Grilled Pork Bahn Mi ($6.95) - Good crusty baguette, crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside. Unlike a more traditional Bahn Mi baguette, the crust isn't super crispy, doesn't flake off into small chunks all over the place and the interior is more chewy than airy/fluffy. It's more like a French Baguette than a Vietnamese Baguette. The sandwich is filled with the classic vegetables - jalapenos, cilantro, cucumber, pickled shredded carrot and daikon. The cucumbers are cut into coins instead of the normal batons. The pickles are a bit weak, they seem to not be as vinegary or pickled as long as most other places. The pork has a nice aromatic taste from the marinade but again is extremely sweet. A pat of mayo finishes the sandwich. Other reviews mention pate, but I didn't find any in my sandwich. I wish Yummy Deli had some more authentic options with pate, cha lua, shredded pork skin, etc. I guess this place is aimed more towards Western restaurant-goers given how sweet everything was, or maybe it's just the style around Seattle? Not bad, just different from a more authentic restaurant.

Tofu banh mi packed with flavorful tofu. Was so surprised to see how well it was stuffed.

It's hard to find good banh mi anywhere in WA so it is exciting to have a solid place to go to near home. Just discovered this place and I will definitely be back. Also, the price is so good! We each got 2 combos: - Banh mi dat biet (special ham) + spring rolls and avocado bubble tea. - Tofu Banh mi + egg rolls and taro bubble tea Both sandwiches were great. The bread is very unique in size compared to most other banh mi, this is shorter and fatter but I was happy to see that they didn't skimp on filling it. The bread is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It's hard to find a place that does good tofu banh mi so it's amazing that they well season the tofu in a sauce. The dat biet sandwich has good mayo and pate, which only the legit places will have. The egg rolls were good too, good proportion of meat and veggies. Spring rolls were alright, nothing to rave about. The avocado bubble tea was so good. Love when places use real avocado! The taro bubble tea is pretty standard on what you'd find in other shops. Overall, very happy with this place and will be back for more banh mi and trying other menu items! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for banh mi in the area without the hassle of going to Seattle.

Tofu banh mi

We were on our way home and wanted to grab some food and decided to try this place. So many people have recommend the banh mi here and it was delicious. We got the tofu banh mi, beef stew with noodles, and tofu spring roll. The tofu banh mi uses a different bread than im used to, it's chubbier, fluffier and softer. It has a crunch but not the hard crunch. The flavor was on point and they were very generous with the fillings. I haven't had beef stew in a really long time and it definitely hit the spot. It was filled with super super tender beef and carrots. The flavor of the soup was on the sweeter side but not too much. The tofu spring roll was kinda bland but the peanut sauce definitely help. Overall, I really like the sandwiches here and the people here are really nice. The price is very reasonable. It also seem like there are a lot of regulars that came here. If I'm in the area, I would definitely come back here.

Pho tai

Pho soup so flavorful. It's a bit sweeter than other pho I've had. They have Chinsu chilli sauce instead of Sriracha. Chinsu has a sweet taste to it so adding this with their already sweet broth can make the pho broth taste too sweet. Quick ordering Self service

1-Grilled Pork Sandwich so fresh and delicious!

5 stars all around!!! We've been in search up north for the best bahn mi, pho, and drinks in one place, and this is it! Yummy deli is authentic, fresh, delicious, and has the nicest staff. We ordered the tofu bahn mi and pork, two of the combo phos (small) and iced Vietnamese coffee with boba. THEY ARE ALL SO YUMMY! They have so many other options we want to try and bubble tea drinks with different toppings. It makes giggle and excited to try hahaha. It's so nice to have a one stop place that has all your favorites.

I asked for no jalapeños, guess what?

Tasty bahn mi, although proportion of bread to meat/veg was too high for me. Eggrolls were nondescript. Very nice staff.

I would sit and chat with friends for a bit but this isn't a place I would bring my laptop to work. We arrived on a gloomy Sunday afternoon and they were pretty busy. There is one kiosk for self ordering and you can also order with an employee at the register. I order the Biscoff Matcha Latte with whipped cream and it was outrageously good. There was a perfect amount of Biscoff so it didn't overwhelm the matcha. I am usually afraid to try new drinks but I am glad I tried this. Considering how many drinks they had to make the wait wasn't bad and the staff was very friendly and smiled and said hello to everyone. I am looking forward to coming back for another drink. You should give this place a shot too.

Huge plaza area so there's ample parking. Fatbee Milk Tea w/ Boba - boba was decent. Chewy but not particularly flavorful, could be marinated longer. Tea was a classic house black tea with creamer. Tasted more on the dark side. Nothing special but satisfies a typical black milk tea craving. Taro Ube Freeze - a cup of creamy goodness. Blended extremely smooth and flavorful. Both the taro and ube nuttiness were shining and the coldness was soothing. Honestly such a refreshing and addicting drink, I snagged another one for the trip home. Highly recommend.

The cashier was extremely welcoming and engaging. I feel she went up and beyond to make my experience easy and positive! She offered me recommendations as it was my first time in. Dairy free, Caffeine free and not too sweet. They offer the option to adjust sweetness by the amount of sugar added to the drink. I ordered the strawberry Jasmin Tea with Lychee Jelly, sugar free, and added the mango Boba. The Lychee jellies and Boba added the perfect amount of sweetness for me. They also had a plethora of other drink options to choose from. Interior is bright and simple, I really like the branding. I felt the punch of happiness right away. There are many cute photos ops. Overall a great experience and will be back to try more!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #81…read more Very convenient boba shop, located right next to Fred Meyer for sweet drink needs after shopping for groceries. Boba Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice ($6.50) - The milk tea is pretty similar to other Happy Lemon locations - very heavy on the creamer, creating an extremely creamy and rich drink. The sweetness at half is a bit high, but not too bad, and the tea flavor isn't really there due to the heavy use of creamer. This is kind of Happy Lemon's signature, and while some locations heavily overdo the creamer, making the drink taste like chemicals and the texture become gritty, this location manages to avoid those pitfalls. The drink comes with boba. The boba served at this Happy Lemon location is a bit below the average Happy Lemon - while they are clearly marinated in a sugar solution, giving a sticky exterior and some sweetness, they are on the firm side, reducing the chewiness too much. Most pearls are shrunken, like they didn't have any chance to expand due to the lower cook time. None of the pearls have any chalkiness or are rock hard by any means, but they are noticeably firm. In addition, strangely enough, I found undissolved sugar crystals on the bottom of the drink. Seems like the boba perhaps isn't stirred much so not all the sugar dissolves. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I've always found Happy Lemon to serve serve average to above average drinks at most locations, and this one is no different. There's not exactly a plethora of boba choices up in Everett, so while I'd never specifically seek out this Happy Lemon, I'd stop by again if I happen to be in the area.
