On a weekday early afternoon no less![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pearl Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice, Large ($6.95) - The drink is very milky and creamy with a very light tea flavor. The sweetness is towards the harsher end but not too bad. With half ice, there's way too much ice - I would say it's more ice than full ice at most other boba shops. After the drink was completely cooled, the ice level was still more than a third down the cup. Ignoring the issues with the ice level, the drink is still pleasing to sip on. This drink comes with boba. The boba is on the softer side, approaching being mushy. The pearls are pretty uniformly soft in texture rather than only the outer layer being soft. The softness impacts the chew and bounce negatively. The outside of each pearl is very sticky. I usually associate this type of stickiness with a honey soak, or with a brown sugar soak to a lesser extent. In this case it doesn't really taste like either, but is still slightly sweet. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 The boba Daboba serves is not bad at all. Probably my #2 choice so far north of Lynnwood. They also have a bunch of special drinks that I'd love to go back to try. I been to daboba in bellevue quite often but after moving to this area, I come to this location now. This was around my 3 time going here and have always ordered the same drink, a strawberry yogurt. My boyfriend picked up my drink and brought it home. As soon as I saw the color I thought it was off as well as the texture. It's official, Daboba is my new favorite place in Everett for Bubble Tea! I've said that about a couple places now, but Daboba takes the cake easily. Walking in, the employees were very friendly and are happy to recommend something tasty! The decor is nice, there's an arcade game and some other card and board games available to play. Walking out as well, they were very appreciative and made sure we enjoyed our time, drinks and food. My wife likes to get the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk tea. We both agree, it is DELICIOUS! The boba itself also tasted very fresh, I'm not normally a fan of boba, but this was pretty good. I like to get the Mango Frappe, tastes amazing with the cheese foam. We've tried some of the "k-Busan" food. The fries are pretty alright, mostly hurt by the lack of a good dipping sauce on the side. I'd recommend the salted egg fries if I had to choose a seasoning, but I'd probably only get them again if I was getting them to-go and I had a good dipping sauce at home. Just not enough flavor overall. The chicken, however, was shockingly good! A little pricey for the amount you get, but the quality and flavor were worth it. Both the soy garlic and the sweet chili were amazing. The wings are still a little crunchy even though they have a fantastic sticky sauce on the outside, just a perfect Asian style wing. Was beyond excited when I learnt a popular boba joint is opening up North and Daboba did not disappoint. The atmosphere in the store was cozy and half of the store is very instagramble. I got the roasted brown sugar boba with fresh milk in a medium size. At first I wasn't too sure what roasted brown sugar meant , turns out it is the brûlée on the drink. The cup it came was did not allow sipping like those lids for drinks with crema would which was disappointing at first. I had no choice but to mix the brûlée top into the drink and OMG what a surprise, it actually turned out better! Each sip I took had the crunch burnt sugar top along with brown sugar sweetened milk and boba, it was perfection. I instantly regretted I ordered a medium because I didn't think I could finish it, now I wish I had ordered a large! We also ordered oolong milk tea which lacked oolong tea flavor, it was mediocre at best, definitely would not order again. We were going to try some chicken wings but the price tags are pretty high considering they're not made fresh because we can see them sitting in the warmer on display like 7-11 chicken wings. I ordered a milk tea, but it was ruined by an unexpected and bizarre twist - it tasted like it had muối ớt (Vietnamese chili salt) in it.
