The egg rolls aren't too special, so I often will spend a little more to get their shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. So good. We go here about 1-2 times per month. Usually we get our food to go, but sometimes eat in. I can't believe that as infrequently as I'm in there, the owner (manager?) recognizes me. If I'm not with the kids, he asks about them. Anyway, the food is great! 3 of us get banh mi sandwiches and 1 gets pho. The sandwich bread is just as it should be, and the meat (or tofu,as the case may be) is plentiful. They don't overdo the jalapenos. I'm told the shrimp pho is delightful, but haven't tried it myself. We always get bubble tea. I do wish the drinks were a bit more icy, but that may be just my personal preference. I'm the only one in the family who wants bobba, and yay - they don't skimp on it, as many other Vietnamese restaurants do. (Once there was a young woman working there who struggled with English and who got our order wrong, but that only happened one time and I'm not going to lower my rating because of an anomaly.) By far the most accommodating and tasty vietnamese deli. They changed their recipe a little bit, which I didn't like, but whenever I call in they make it the way they originally did, because they know I like it. $3.95 for a Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. Yep, gotta have it! I used to live in Lynnwood, so I was a frequent visitor to Yeh Yeh's, which has equally cheap, yet delicious banh mi. Now that I'm in Everett, I was looking for another place to satisfy my craving for banh mi. I had tried a few other places, but after looking at the reviews I gave Yummy Deli a try today. Their sandwich hits the spot - vegetables are fresh, right amount of cilantro, yummy chicken all on the perfect bread - crunchy exterior and warm soft interior with the perfect amount of chew to it. Best part - it's like a mile or two from my house. My Bad - I was so eager to dig in, I didn't remember to take a picture until I was two bites into it. Guess I'll have to remember to shoot a photo on my next trip, which will be soon! Sidenote: I've always ordered without jalapeños - I forgot this time (I was really hungry). I stated working nearby and need a good meat fee joint. I had the lunch special with the tofu sandwich and spring rolls. Spring rolls were tightly wrapped and came with peanut sauce. Sandwich bread was soft but with crunch outside, very fresh veg and the tofu was super great(good marinade). All I needed was hot sauce, but I took it to go, they prob had it on the tables. This place is pretty legit. The bread they use on their bahn mi's is awesome ( if you love yeh yeh' in Lynnwood I think it's the same bread). The pho is on par. Haven't had the stew but my parents get it every time they come in to town and they swear by it. They have a reward system which is awesome. Makes you feel like a valued customer when you get "freebies" every now and then. Wish there was a little more meat on the sandwiches but all and all this is a pretty good spot. read more

They have the best pho. I like the large brisket. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out really fast. What a delight finding this gem. My tofu banh mi was to die for. The wife's fried rice dish was generous in portion and had a lovely Vietnamese undertone of mildly sweet rice and a whisper of fish sauce. The customer service is exceptional, staff is always smiling and friendly. Their vegetables are fresh and good quality, the bread is flaky and obviously fresh baked. Better yet the $$PRICES$$ are unbeatable! You can get a sandwich for under $3, and their meal deal for under $6 which comes with tasty spring rolls and a drink. This was my usual place for vietnamese foods. I usually order grill bbq banh mi. Special beef stew was tasty! Soft meat and crispy bread. Loved it! Their varmacilli grill pork with spring roll was okay. Their spring roll wasnt fresh, it was a bit soggy. The grill port was a bit over cook. The fish sauce was okay. Abit too diluted for my taste. There wasnt much taste to it. I had better one else where. will not order it again. Appetizer: Summer roll- chicken. I did not like it. Chicken was over cook and dry. Drinks: Taro milk tea ---great. (I normally dont drink taro) Avocado smootie--- okay. It had a strange taste to it. Possibly the water they use...or the ice. Would not order again. Ice coffee--was great. Will order again. Banh mi: Bbq pork banh mi-- best of all Grill bbq pork banh mi -- good Grill chicken banh mi-- okay Con: I reduced the stars because they mess up my order three time in one day. It wasnt even busy. I order once chicken and bbq pork banh mi but got only the chicken banh mi Reorder the 2nd banh mi...they got it wrong again! they gave me get grill pork. :( I ordered shrimp summer roll but got chicken summer. :( It fustrated me u when the order is wrong. I think I'm only going to get Vietnamese coffee here next time, their foods honestly aren't that great. I ordered a ham banh mi here for lunch and it took them 10 mins to make it, including my coffee, and it was just my order and one other guy that came in after me. And usually delis would toast your banh mi unless you tell them not to and this place did not toast theirs so it was a really cold banh mi. Their spring rolls are not that appetizing either, there's barely any meat, literally just 3/4 veggies. But granted, they make really good Vietnamese coffee. read more

I used the app to order lunch yesterday (4/3/19) around 4pm... I usually love this place but has a bad experience and hope yummy deli isn't changing for the worst. I purchased 3 items. Ordered a large pho but they didn't event fill the broth to the top the of container and got an average amount of meat and veggies for it, but paid for a large....ordered the Grilled Chicken (what a joke) $8.50 for a few paper thin slices of chicken with peanuts on top, some veggies they used to fill the sandwiches and 2 egg rolls. Total waste of money for what you get. Chicken sandwich was ok, however they are usually served warm. Be careful ordering off the app. Better to call it in or better yet - din in. overpaid and disappointed. I am looking forward to going back because I really like this place and then hopefully deleting or adjusting this post. I hope the owners see this and do not under serve the public. read more

Fresh bread, good meats, fresh veggies... all that makes for a great sammy. The pho is tasty, too!! They can do no wrong here. We've been twice and loved it both times. I haven't had anything else, so can't speak to the egg rolls and such but if they're as on top of that, as they are with the soup and sammies, then feel good about it. :D read more

This one very clean and we'll lit place. I had a sandwich and it was very good. A little different from a lot of other places...they use a more rounder softer roll as opposed to the thinner ones. They do put jalapeno in them but not too much so it was just right. Gonna have to try their other items later. Prices might be a bit higher but well worth it.
