It was a great variety of shareable food & we did everything family style. LOVED the galbi the best (so soft & tender, good quality meat with tendony pieces), picanha steak with potatoes (gluten free option), pork belly, burrata with tomatoes, & the salad (mostly was arugula) that came with most of the dishes - that was so great because usually when you order food to share there aren't enough greens. The mushroom pasta was a popular favorite & the seafood rose pasta was also pretty good. I generally prefer unsweetened or less sweet meat, but their seasonings were done pretty perfectly (I hope they never make it sweeter because a lot of restaurants' marinated meats are too sweet/sugary). Everything was delicious! Even the matcha lattes were delicious & the cocktails were a hit, too (& I'm picky about my matchas)! I got mine half sweet & it was just perfect. We also loved the desserts which were a lava cake with ice cream, raspberry cheesecake in a cup, & gogoma (sweet potato) with pumpkin seeds & some crunchy crumble & ice cream. The gogoma was chewy & yummy! I think it was a $900 minimum to reserve the party room on the side of the restaurant, & it was nice & bright with windows all along the side. Highly recommend dPlace! The side room we reserved is a perfect place to gather & quite spacious :) I want to try the truffle potato jeon!

It was SO delish!! Every bite was seriously a burst of flavor. I tried a few different inari and…read moreeach one had its own flavor, so it never felt repetitive. The salmon was fresh, buttery, and super soft, the spicy salmon had a nice little kick, and the crab one was creamy, savory, and absolutely loaded. I loved how the slightly sweet tofu pocket balanced out all of the rich toppings too. They definitely do not skimp on portions. These are much bigger and more filling than your average inari, and everything was piled on generously. I honestly thought they would be more of a small snack, but a few of them were enough to feel pretty satisfied. Ordering was also really easy. You can order online ahead of time or order in person using their kiosk, which made the whole process pretty straightforward. The only downside is that their hours are pretty limited, so I would definitely check before heading over, especially if you're making a drive out to Buena Park. Other than that, I really enjoyed everything I tried. Super fresh, flavorful, fun to eat, and honestly just such a good little find. I'd definitely come back and try more flavors.

We got the spicy tuna, fresh salmon, and grilled bulgogi, and everything was great! Fair warning on…read morethe spicy tuna though--they definitely mean spicy, so proceed with caution if you're sensitive to heat. The fish reminded me a lot of poke: fresh, flavorful, and paired nicely with the rice. I also thought the fried tofu skin was such an interesting addition. It added a different texture and made the whole meal feel a little more unique than your typical poke bowl. The grilled bulgogi was another solid choice and a nice option if you want something cooked alongside the raw fish. As for the atmosphere, it honestly feels more like a modern boba shop than a traditional sit-down restaurant. It's casual, quiet, and chill--the kind of place where you can sit down, enjoy your food, and actually have a conversation without feeling rushed. Overall, really enjoyed the food and the laid-back vibe. I'd definitely come back, especially when I'm craving something fresh and poke-like but want something a little different.

Tried 4 including the gim, tnt, malatang, red disco. Favorites were gim and TNT!! The anchovy fries were also great flavor and a nice crunch to them. HANDS DOWNNNN MY NEW FAVORITE CHICKEN PLACE!!! To be fair I don't think I had a favorite as long as…read moreit was Korean style like bonchon, kyochon, bbq chicken etc were all about the same to me. BUT THIS ONE?? THIS IS DIFFERENT. The chicken is suuuuuper juicy tender like gushing out juice let me tell you. Not a single dry or over fried piece. You can also tell it's fresh chicken not something that's been fried and refried a million times. Also! The chicken is completely cooked while still being that juicy no sus looking bloody pieces here (yes yes I know it can be safe to eat, but I just don't enjoy that). AND!! The meat is so juicy and the skin is fried so crispy. Truly best of both worlds I had a great time. Also I will alwayssss prefer a dry rub over wet marinade AND THIS PLACE HAS IT DOWN SOOOOO GOOD!! They do variations of flavors so it's not just "Lemon Pepper" where sometimes it's just too sharp too sour for me (sorry wingstop) but "Lemon Pepper Curry" where now there's that savory flavor from the curry and is making everything more well rounded. Their seaweed flavor is also amazing (don't let the black color scare you) and tastes just like those fried seaweed snacks !!! Umami yes yes super good. The Lemon Pepper Curry ($1) and Gim ($3) add ons are super worth I promise. They even half the price when you order the flavored mixed so we paid 50 cents and $1.50 for the flavors. I cannot vouch for other flavors and next time I come back I will be getting these flavors again. And maybe just original fried because why not. The chicken is fried so good yknow?? Spicy Carbonara Tteokbokki ($17)-- Ok visually ngl they really threw me off with that broccoli so I had pretty low expectations like hmmm... interesting. BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD!! The dish and also surprisingly the broccoli in it. It's not too sweet like how some places do their rose (or like the buldak carbonara) and instead it's savory and rich almost like pasta sauce? I dipped the chicken in this sauce like the sauce was 10/10 amazing. They give you a sauce and pickled radish when you order. Sauce was ok not bad, but I just liked dipping in tteokbokki sauce more. And you don't even really need the sauce because the skin is so flavorful. Parking is easy since there's a big lot. Definitely will be back!!!

It has a really fun, hip vibe and would be such a great spot for parties or bigger groups. The food was just as amazing. Their fusion of Mexican and Asian flavors works so well. We ordered two of the chicken sandos and their pork belly fries AND they absolutely hit all the right spots. The chicken in the sandos were crispy on the outside, perfectly juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Oh, and be sure to ask for extra Tim's sauce - definitely worth raving over. What made it even better was hearing that they braise the chicken for hours before it even hits the oil. That kind of attention to detail really shows in every bite. Definitely a spot we'd come back to.

TL;DR - Pork Belly Fries, extra Tim's sauce, add jalapeños if you want that kick. Splitting burrito…read moreand fries for ultimate hefty experience. The fries and burrito are the must gets here. Both are so consistently good. The seasoning and blend of flavors is honestly so on point. The pork belly are those like thick cut style with great chewy texture. Portions are pretty sizeable (fries are easily shareable between 2-3 people). Special hack: share half burrito with fries. Each bite of burrito is paired with a fork-full of the fries with the pico and sauces. EZ MONEY. Since everything is made-to-order don't expect like fast food levels of speed, but that being said it's still relatively quick (think I waited like 11 minutes?) Unless you're willing to buy drinks (they just have bottled/can only so no refills), water isn't the easiest to get since you have to keep asking a worker (they have like a big bottle that they pour water into). ***pro tip: get Baja blast from the Taco Bell right next door :)
