ice cream waffle (mango ice cream inside)

Yummie is located on the 2nd floor of pmall in the little chinatown-esque hallway. They sell egg waffles, ice cream waffles, candy/snacks as well as chinese herbs. There was a huge lineup when my gf and I stopped by over the xmas holidays because the other egg waffle shop nearby on the floor was closed for the day. We got some regular egg waffles in a bag and then an ice cream waffle which was basically ice cream inside the same egg waffle batter acting as a shell (kinda like an ice cream sandwich). I thought the egg waffles were decent. Definitely brought back market village nostalgia but surprisingly I liked the ice cream waffle more. Something about the hot, crispy, thinner waffle surrounding cold ice cream was addicting. It might've been the contrasting of temperatures. Anyways, would definitely return for ice cream waffles again but would try a different flavour of ice cream. Price is also VERY reasonable still. Inflation has definitely hit them but it's only reflected slightly in the price which is normal imo.

This place is located upstairs in Pacific Mall where the food court is. It's actually been there for many years. They offer hong kong snacks, egg waffles and ice cream sandwich waffles. I got the egg waffle and taro ice cream sandwich waffle combo for $7.99. The egg waffle tasted great, it was nice and crispy.

the price of eggs, waffles and ice cream sandwiches - A yellow menu sign offers egg waffle, ice-cream sandwich, and combo options with prices, featuring Chinese and English text.

Durian ice cream sandwich was good. The crust was light & crisp & paired well with the ice cream. The ice cream wasn't great quality but it was acceptable for $5 including tax

They're famous for their ice cream sandwiches which they have monopolize in all of Pacific mall. Good selection of ice cream flavors. You can get the uncommon ones like taro and durian. They have a combo that comes with egg waffles for $6. The egg waffles aren't as good as other places in Pacific mall though but you got to try the ice cream wrapped in a thin almost crepe-like batter. They also have a large variety of Chinese snacks. Never tried any of the other stuff but the place looks clean and tidy so maybe next time.

They have introduced a high-end gourmet macaron with their iconic logo on it. It is called Eugenie, named after Empress Eugenie, patron of the arts. There are only 8 iconic flavours: Chocolate, Vanilla, Pistachio, Caramel, Rose, Orange Blossom, Blackcurrant Violette, and Marie Antoinette tea. Eugénie is an unexpected marriage of textures, with a crunchy biscuit, a melting heart and a crunchy chocolate coating. This Union Station location is only a kiosk, rather than a full patisserie. It opened in Oct 2024. They thought they were only going to be there until Feb 2025, but as of 2025-06-23, they are still there. It is opposite Union Samples. They mostly sell macarons ($4.50 each!) here, but there are also a few bottled drinks, chocolate bars, gift boxes, yule logs, and gift cards. The customer service was good. Louis-Ernest Ladurée was the founder of Ladurée in 1862. There is free WiFi from Union Station. The kiosk is wheelchair accessible. There are washrooms in Union Station. There is a paid (expensive!) parking lot. Review 2025-118

We remembered this small Laduree cart, so we went to see if it was still there. It was! Success! After a quick look at their many flavors, we opted for the Marie Antoinette ("Two light blue macaron shells filled with a smooth cream infused with Marie-Antoinette tea"). These things are five bucks each (!) but I can't deny that they're completely delicious. The ones we ate were very fresh and packed with flavor. Even though I gobbled it up in about two bites, I didn't regret the cost at all. This is top tier stuff.

Everything here is organic - from the produce to ingredients in the ready-to-go meals and products. There are a wide variety of homemade soups, pizza station serving thin-crust pizza made of spelt flour (including vegan options), various salads, and more. Note that the hot food bar is only open on weekdays (to serve the office crowd), but they have other great and healthy grab-and-go options. Weekend grocery shopping here is quiet and not as crowded as in most other supermarkets, making it a pleasant experience. I love the variety of products they offer - lots of high-quality, gluten-free, organic, and vegan products and brands that are not commonly found in most other mainstream grocery stores. There are bulk nuts, tempeh, hummus, and the biggest variety of plant-based milks and nut butters I have seen in any supermarket. The bags they provide for produce are compostable. They have tables and seating areas for eating, and a gender-neutral and wheelchair-accessible washroom. Limited-time parking is available in the underground private parking lot. You can get the parking ticket validated by the cashier.

They offer either: - Hot/iced chocolate (~$4), using the following Lindt chocolates as the base: milk, medium dark, intense dark, and white - Hot/iced chocolate mocha (~$5): same flavours but with a shot of espresso My go-to is the intense dark, either as a hot chocolate or hot chocolate mocha. For those of you who love dark chocolate, these drinks have a nice balance between strong flavour without it being either overly thick or watered down. And for those of you who find dark chocolate typically bitter, this doesn't have as strong a bite. Also, if you want stronger tastes/flavours in your drinks, I find that the cold drinks generally lose a bit of the chocolatey taste (which I like really strong). While this isn't as good as the famed Angelina hot chocolate (which you can get at Douce France), it's the second best hot chocolate drink I've had in the city... and the locations are a lot more accessible for sure (though take note, not all Lindt shops have this). If you're part of the Hot Chocolate Lovers Club, definitely give this a try!
