Price have slowly gone up steady over the years. Flavoured egg waffles are now $5 for chocolate, matcha or yogurt flavour. The lady gives you a bit of a no non-sense attitude most of the time. The egg waffles are served hot and have a nice crisp. Ice cream can also be wrapped in waffle here but isn't as good. You'll notice this spot by the small lineup. I saw this stall selling egg waffles and decided to give them a try. A good egg waffle is crispy on the outside, chewy and stuffed on the inside. This egg waffle that I got was none of that. The exterior was soft and had open holes. The inside was pretty much hollow. It's as if this place just took a generic pancake mix and poured as little possible into the waffle maker. Overall, this is not a place for egg waffles. If they gave me one egg waffle for free, I'd rather not eat it at all than feel the immense disappointment. Whenever I come to pacific mall to get a screen protector or new phone case, I MUST stop by here to get my egg waffle fix. I always opt for 2 egg waffle just because 1 is never enough! It's made to order, and it's fresh, hot and even a little crispy. If you seal the bag and let the heat steam up in there a little bit, it gets a little softer/soggy, how I like to eat them. They do sell ice cream waffles, dried Asian candies/sweets, and drinks, but I just come here for the egg waffles. read more

Yummie is located on the 2nd floor of pmall in the little chinatown-esque hallway. They sell egg waffles, ice cream waffles, candy/snacks as well as chinese herbs. There was a huge lineup when my gf and I stopped by over the xmas holidays because the other egg waffle shop nearby on the floor was closed for the day. We got some regular egg waffles in a bag and then an ice cream waffle which was basically ice cream inside the same egg waffle batter acting as a shell (kinda like an ice cream sandwich). I thought the egg waffles were decent. Definitely brought back market village nostalgia but surprisingly I liked the ice cream waffle more. Something about the hot, crispy, thinner waffle surrounding cold ice cream was addicting. It might've been the contrasting of temperatures. Anyways, would definitely return for ice cream waffles again but would try a different flavour of ice cream. Price is also VERY reasonable still. Inflation has definitely hit them but it's only reflected slightly in the price which is normal imo. read more

I can't believe this place has a Yelp page. I've been coming here since the late 90s. This is the OG of waffle stores. No trip to P mall is complete without a couple of bags of waffles from here. I could care less about the fancy cafes which turn the waffles into a cone and top it with all kinds of things. The waffles are all I need and this place delivers every time. I'm so happy to be able to treat my kids to this and I hope we can continue to enjoy it for a long time. read more

Get your egg roll cookies and egg waffles from here. Much better service and you don't have a crazy lady, in the shop next door, complaining about Americans buying too much of their eggroll cookies. Yummie would be glad to sell you as much as you want with a smile. The crazy lady next door is as bad as....actually worse than the soup nazi. I got my fill of egg roll cookies thanks to Yummie! They're famous for their ice cream sandwiches which they have monopolize in all of Pacific mall. Good selection of ice cream flavors. You can get the uncommon ones like taro and durian. They have a combo that comes with egg waffles for $6. The egg waffles aren't as good as other places in Pacific mall though but you got to try the ice cream wrapped in a thin almost crepe-like batter. They also have a large variety of Chinese snacks. Never tried any of the other stuff but the place looks clean and tidy so maybe next time. read more

this place is my go-to for hong kong cakes. it is located in the food court of the pacific mall. there are many other hong kong cake stores in this mall and in the food court, but this place is by far the best. the food is always hot and fresh, and it's cooked in front of you. even when there are long lines, the ladies working there are super fast at cooking and handling the money. read more

I've been coming here for years for their ice cream waffle and Hong Kong egg waffles and the quality has always been superb even though prices have been steadily going up. I was always willing to spend the extra buck BUT after coming back today to get those, I was extremely disappointed by the quality and customer service, even though I speak Cantonese. we got the lychee ice cream sandwich, which was alright although they seem to skimp up on the ice cream and I could barely taste the lychee....my one star is for the ice cream sandwich. now with the egg waffle .. it was completely burnt, the lady knew it was burnt when she took it off the grill and still gave it to us. me and my girlfriend looked into the bag and could smell and see the burnt waffles, we told the lady about it and she just threw it out, not even an apology, fine whatever. I hope the second one would be better, got the second and it wasn't burnt but it was just a big clump of half ass eggie dough, lack the sweet flavor and it was too spongy. sorry you lost a loyal customer with your ridiculous prices and shitty quality, I know the workers and owner would never read this review but just a heads up to people looking to get eggies from the place, I know there is at least another place next door so give them a try and avoid this place P.S I totally forgot that one time at the place I saw them wipe the blade of the knife on the garbage can before cutting up the ice cream sandwich read more

I've been going here for years and their egg waffles have always been consistently excellent. I always get the egg waffles and order them extra crispy because it gives them a nice slightly burnt sugar taste, and the extra super crispiness gives them a great texture. They've always been $3 for one egg waffle, and $5 for two even though the price of the ice cream sandwich has crept up a bit. Okay so there's a little secret to this place, if you ask them, they will put chocolate chips in your egg waffle. You can also wrap your ice cream in the egg waffle too (I think it was $6?). It's sooo good, and so much cheaper than the $8 they cost at night market. They make their egg waffle and ice cream sandwich batter on site, throughout the day, as they need it. Almost every time I come here, there is either someone cracking eggs or beating them for a new batch of batter. I'm not sure if the other place uses eggs at all. Sometimes they have a really really long line up, especially on weekends and holidays, so you might need to wait a bit for your egg waffle! read more

I just had their egg waffle this past Sunday, and it was terrible!!! I ordered 2 egg waffles because it was 2 for $5, the egg waffles were made fresh, so I'll give them that, but when the waffles came out from the waffle maker, the color was not an even golden brown color, it was more a patchy light cream color with patching of golden brown color, looking at it I was already not happy. Upon tasting it, it was the worst egg waffle I have EVER tasted! I'm from Hong Kong so I know how traditional egg waffles should look and taste, and this is nothing like it. This one was moist and soggy, the shell wasn't even a bit crispy, the waffle was soooo soft that it couldn't even hold its shape in the paper bag, it just folded and collapsed inside! I don't know why they're getting all these fames, but honestly they need to do much better on the batter. I usually get the egg waffles from Tung Tung at Market Village which is right beside it, and I wouldn't say they have the best egg waffles, but at least it was 5 grades better than the one I got at Yummie, I'm never going there again for egg waffles! read more
