The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the service was impeccable. I had multiple servers come and check up on me and I felt like if I ever needed anything they were able to take care of it. Also, one of the servers mentioned the restaurant is peanut free in case anyone has any allergies. The poke was really delicious. I felt that the salmon was very fresh and I thought they gave very large chunks of salmon compared to other restaurants that really do skip out on the salmon portion, but this restaurant did not! The poke had cucumbers, mangoes, avocado, and scallions as well and I felt that the mango with a nice touch to add some sweetness, and it was also very fresh. The addition of the cucumber gave a nice crunchy texture that helped the dish overall. As for the sauce, I got the original non-spicy poker sauce. I didn't use too much of it because a little bit goes a long way. I recommend anyone to come and try out the poker here and I haven't tried their Ramen yet, but I do look forward to it soon.

I found Ramen Utsuke from Yelp and although it had over 4-stars, I was skeptical because I came from a town with excellent Asian restaurants so I couldn't help but be a bit judgey about the reviews. Stopped by around late 4PM and the tables were still mostly occupied. We were quickly seated in a booth and ordered a few appetizers, bentos, and ramens. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was actually pretty legit Japanese. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen Black and the broth was delicious. The noodles were well done and it had a fair amount of toppings. The pork chashu could be better (they were a little dry) but overall, it was very good in a legitimate-Asian approved way. I also got the avocado salad in onion and roasted garlic dressing and the dressing was the bomb! We use the remainder as dipping sauce for other stuff. Service was great - the staff were very professional and attentive. Definitely recommended!

The inside is small but they use the space effectively and nothing feels cramped. The menu is small but everything we got was delicious. The service was great, very welcoming and informative. We'll definitely be back. We ordered the special menu appetizer watermelon, I don't remember the name and Onigiri. I ordered the Mazemen and my partner got the special spicy shrimp ramen. The pink drink is the Open Kimono, the gochujang isn't overbearing but has a subtle flavor that really bright everything together. The Toki Monster had a piece of pork belly for the garnish and my partner also ordered the special mystery saki. He said it was unlike any other sake he's ever tasted in the best possible way. The only downside was that he forgot to ask again what it was called.

Mostly because the ramens came with pork or vegan broth and no poultry or fish broth options. Stalking their insta I saw a chicken broth tantanmen that looked delish. So here we were. We were promptly sat, service was quick and fast. My chicken tantanmen was delicious. The numbing sichuan chili oil with the crispy karaage, paired with a nutty miso broth was just perfect for an overcast day. My bf also thoroughly enjoyed his vegan mushroom ramen and appreciated the cook on the mushrooms as it wasn't just bland and spongy. Would absolutely come back if they keep offering non pork broth options. Or at least the ability to sub broths out. Interior was also decorated very cool.

Their menu features ramen, brothless ramen, and other Asian-fusion bowls. Honestly, the food didn't look bad and there seemed to be some gluten free options. However, I only got the boba tea this time around and I was sadly very disappointed. When ordering, there wasn't any option to customize the tea (sugar or ice levels specifically) so when it came out, I was disappointed with the sweetness and the lukewarm temp. I wish there was more ice and less sugar. The boba was also very overcooked and slimy. It didn't have the chewy bounce that boba is supposed to have and it wasn't marinated well either - it didn't taste like brown sugar at all. Just flavorless and mush. I ended up going home and dumping the whole thing over some ice cubes but it still wasn't great. The only upside is that they use dairy-free milk so no need to customize that. But overall, I wouldn't recommend this spot for boba unfortunately.

They do have a happy hour on Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. This includes certain rolls and appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails. I had the lychee Saketini (HH $8), and it definitely had lychee flavor. It was a little lighter on the alcohol though. I also had a 22 oz. can of Sapporo premium beer, which was also on happy hour for $7.50. Both the bagel roll and California roll were $6 on happy hour as well. I highly recommend the Volcano Roll (HH $12), which had 6 pieces of salmon and tuna top with a spicy mayo and eel sauce. We initially sat outside, but once it started raining, they helped us bring everything inside. The hostess was very kind and our server was excellent. In terms of the ambiance, there is not much indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like they mainly do take out. Also, street parking can be limited.
