    Few bites still no apple!
    Robert F.

Ordered two apple fritters, No Apple! . The lady worker rang me up, for the two donuts at 3.69 a piece but I noticed on the receipt it says cinnamon rolls? When I asked for two apple fritters she acknowledged it, but these had no apple taste or apples inside? What is worse is they tasted old as well. This was not my first time here, it's been months but the workers still have attitude and the donuts are overpriced! Still terrible, I won't be giving them my business again.

Always reliably good! I haven't purchased the non-donut items as well, ya know, a salad at a donut shop? And the other non-donut items? Hmmm... scares me a little. BUT THE DONUTS ARE AMAZING! Go with what o know they're good at. I've never had a problem with the customer service. Coffee drinks are good too btw. You literally can't go wrong with a donut here.

My recent visit left me very perplexed. I've been here before, got a bear claw, it was decent. Thought I would come back for another visit. Second expierence; I walked in and asked for a half dozen. The server preceded to grab a small bag. I told him, no, I'm getting all big doughnuts. He said "they'll fit." No, they will not fit, can you give me a box. He grabbed the small box in the picture, and proceeded to fill. He started stacking the doughnuts on top of each other. I asked him if you could grab another box (I did not want the doughnuts stuck together). He said, "that was the last small box." Okay, can you get a big box? He said "no, I can use for this order." Really? Doughnut quality, they are okay, not bad, not great. Would I come back for the doughnuts? Probably not. Would I comeback for the customer service, NO! Anyways, this is how I walked out with six doughnuts. :/

I come here about once a week to get my kids a treat. No one is ever overly friendly. Not friendly at all Usually. I try my best to make it to the other local donut shops, but sometimes I have to come after bedtime and this is the only donut shop that's open. My experience with the Hispanic guy behind the counter was blatantly rude his name isnt on the receipt- I made sure before I went in that they accept Apple Pay because I forgot my there is a sign stating so, after he very rudely took my order - he said they don't take Apple Pay- I reference the sign and he very rudely said it's not working. There was about five or six individual donut bags so I'd very nicely ask him for a plastic bag because that's usually what is given when you have so many small donut bags - with a really shitty attitude he grabbed a plastic bag, set it on the counter and walked away. I am not above bagging my own stuff, but it was the attitude for me . If I can't make it on time to another local donut shop, I am just going to have to wait until I can . I have overlooked the fact that even when they are sealed in a Ziploc bag, the donuts taste stale within 24 hours, after this, they can keep their over priced crap.

Went there in the evening after 7, I was expecting stale donuts but they were soft and delicious. Lots of variety of donuts to choose from.

I have nothing but 5,000,000 stars to rate every possible question I could answer for this review. The food is off the chain and the flavors and textures are phenomenal. We had brisket that melted in your mouth, sausages with pleasant jalapeño heat, scrumptious creamy potato salad with chunks of bacon and dill, hard boiled eggs and mayo, corn salad and my favorite side dish: dill pickles and red onions pickled in apple cider vinegar. Run. Don't walk to this place. It will restore your faith in humanity. UPDATE: For Mothers Day I ordered all three of the same sides for our family party. I mistakenly ordered from their catering staff which was unnecessary and more costly. Hubby went to the Beaumont location and was told the catering building was at a different site. Staff were extraordinary and prepared an order for us right there and threw in many extras taking our experience and gratitude to a whole other level. Our heartfelt thanks to Diane who hooked us up. We are grateful for your assistance with a situation that could have gone in so many directions.

Meat was juicy, sauce is plentiful, and it all conglomerates into a messy sandwich of deliciousness. Sausages are the other star here. The Spicy Hungarian sausage with mustard was absolutely a banger as well. It's a nice light kick and savory flavor with each bite. We finished off with a Cherry strudel which was not too sweet but still had the nice sugary finish of a dessert. I feel like I'm rambling but long story short, great food, great beer, great time. Have a slice of European cuisine out in Calimesa.

Food: We ordered the half Reuben sandwich with a side of warm German potato salad, a spicy…read moreHungarian sausage, and finished with a cherry strudel for dessert alongside a German beer on tap. The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.
