There was no clear leadership response or removal. Separately, I was invited by a member to an off‑site party connected to this community. After that event, I experienced sudden disorientation and memory loss inconsistent with my alcohol intake. I went to the hospital, was evaluated for head trauma (none found), and the attending physician concluded I was most likely drugged (e.g., roofied). What was most alarming was the response afterward. Rather than concern or accountability, multiple people connected to this group aggressively pushed a narrative that I "just got too drunk" or "hit my head," even after being informed of the medical evaluation stating otherwise. The takeaway was clear: when something serious happens, this community protects itself -- not women who are harmed. There is insufficient leadership, security, or safety protocol to protect members, especially femmes. If your personal safety matters to you at all, I would strongly recommend steering clear.

However, when I called to confirm your hours prior to our visit, no one answered. I arrived at 4:32 PM on my daughter's birthday, the day she had been eagerly looking forward to painting. To our dismay, we were informed that we could not paint, even though there was still an hour before closing time. We had planned to make bracelets, have a hat made, and enjoy the painting experience together. I understand that circumstances can vary, but it was disheartening to be turned away in such a manner, especially on a special occasion. She could have offered to let her paint for only 30 mins or whatever would allow her to close on time. She just seemed like she didn't want us there because she was on a time crunch to leave. Mind you the business is completely empty so you would think you'd want to make money. I believe it would be beneficial to ensure that your hours are accurately reflected on your phone line and to allow customers to enjoy their time until closing. We really loved this place but are definitely turned off now.

Lots of 1 on 1 time and having never welded anything before (I work in front of a computer all day), it helped me understand a lot quickly. He was always on it with guidance and what I can do to improve in real time as I'm welding (lifting too much, slow down, etc). Was absolutely a great experience and I will be taking his other classes once I can. He also gives great guidance on equipment, where to spend, options, gear, etc. Super helpful, very passionate. Great guy! If you're looking to learn how to weld, I'd absolutely recommend taking a class with him. Class sizes are kept really small so you get a ton of 1 on 1.

There are tons of machines; but it's a DIY shop, so the member needs to be familiar with the equipment they are using. If you choose the membership route, I would recommend budgeting time (at least 30 minutes) to cleaning up before/ after your project. Bill (owner) is an excellent resource and always makes time to answer questions, even when he is not at the shop. I highly recommend taking one of his welding classes, or becoming a member and finishing that project your SO has been bugging you about!

When I call on the phone, nothing happens; not even a ring (I have tried multiple times). The web site says that the open/closed sign in their home page indicates whether someone is there but it does not; it seems to be stuck on "Open". The Contact page in the web site does not work; nothing happens when I click the link. So I drove there, since the open/closed sign in the web site said they are open and I did not know that the sign does not work. At the front door the mail box is full of mail (on a Saturday evening) so no one is getting the mail. There are multiple package delivery attempt notifications on the front door. Those are the facts. My impression is that the club is in trouble from inactivity.
