3 weeks' duration- toolbox. I didn't think it should take 3 weeks (up to 9 hours, including breaks) to make.
Cecile W.

My boys were in level 1 for fall semester and we paid out of pocket $800 each for 12 weeks. Not with charter funds. I personally knew of at least 7 other kids whose parents used charter funds, so for some reason, when you use state money, your expectations are not as high? I didn't expect extended wait times to use the tools and machines most weeks, no communication from the Education Manager until Week 5, almost halfway through the semester, to know what they did, and were underwhelmed at their projects until they were nearing the end. I would highly recommend a do-over with classes that enroll less than 10 kids. My friend even spoke with the manager or owner expressing our concerns. Our max capacity class had lots of waiting around, partner or group work to save time and resources, and the teachers doing more of the work to get the kids through the projects in time. I did not think this was a good value for the price I paid. One kid does not want to come back and the other wants to give it one more chance. I will not make a decision about Level 2 until mid-January when I survey how many kids are enrolled in each time slot.

Cheeseboard from a block of pine.

I learnt how to make a cheeseboard from a block of pine at OC Makers Fair. They are super friendly and patient! I had great fun at my first woodworking experience.

This place is great! So many amazing tools and people. I've taken 3 classes so far. Can't wait to start on my own projects soon.

Do you have any activity for 6 years old?

Thanks for reaching out. Our youth program starts at 10 years old. Since we use mostly adult size tools we need the students big and strong. Sorry to disappoint. Hopefully we will see you in a few years!… Read more

Hi! Is it possible to rent time in the woodshop? For instance a couple of hours to rip down sheet goods, etc. Without a full membership

Sorry but no. One month is the minimum membership term. However, you are always welcome to stop by for a free tour and meet some of the members. Sometimes a member will be willing to help you out.

Is it possible to work at your space for woodworking with my own tools?i just need space and power

HI, You are welcome to bring your own hand and small power tools but not large equipment. Insurance regulations prevent members from bringing in some items such as their own chop saw or table saw as we have provided them. Hope that helps!… Read more

Do you have equipment to straighten a auto body frame?

You can certainly do vehicle restorations, mechanical and electrical work, engine builds, and body panel R&R but we do not have a frame rig or a spot for body work and paint. Thanks for reaching out!

Can you pull an engine out here or is it for small projects? Also can you leave your car over night?

For sure you can pull a motor here. We have 5 lifts, engine hoists, parts washers, and dedicated engine build shop area. Yes we have on-site vehicle storage too. Please feel free to come on by for a free tour anytime.

Can you please tell me the price of membership etc?

Hi. We have several options. I always encourage people to come in for a free tour anytime. Month to month is $199 but only $150 if you sign up for a year. We also provide free new member success coaching.

I design flyers for internal communications and internal events Day 1 & Day 2 of Illustrator: The instructor was new, felt as if he had more Photoshop experience and kept referencing to how he's better at Photoshop. Felt all over the place with his teaching style, didn't know where to start and assumed we knew everything. Felt unprofessional and couldn't follow along Day 2 of Photoshop in September: I took a Day 2 class (skipped day one due to school) with one teacher and loved his teaching style! He was professional and had projects ready for us, helped students alike. I wish I got his name but he was an older gentleman, and I really liked his style! Day 1 of Photoshop in November: This instructor, although not her fault, started forty minutes late because the Photoshop programs weren't working. IT support didn't really help out, and I had to share a computer until they got the other one running. Also her teaching style was all over the place and we were all confused. Reservations: My manager and I had no problem registering for Illustrator. But for Photoshop class, my manager was told they accidentally booked someone else in place of her because my manager had to postpone. So I went by myself... Mistakes happen but we paid a lot for these classes! I would not recommend this facility, it may be the cheapest program around Orange County but there's a reason why. It's a hit or miss with the instructor so hopefully you get lucky!

Stanbridge University - Nursing students practice essential skills in our three Nursing Skills Labs.

Stanbridge University

I am an Alumn from BSNRS cohort 7 but a majority of the experience of my time at Stanbridge was in…read moreBSNLA cohort 6. I finished the BSN program in July of 2025. I received my ATT (approval to test) within one week from my last day. I had the option to test immediately but I had applied to test with accommodations so with limited centers for accommodations I tested 1 month out in August and passed the first time. I worked closely with our Careers Center and the director Dr. Willinger to create an amazing resume right after receiving my license, began applying to jobs immediately and received an invitation to interview within one week for DaVita. Two weeks later I received an invitation to interview for an ER position close to home which was my first choice to build a strong foundation as a new nurse. I know there are a lot of negative comments about this school on here. I have heard and watched a lot of sad and crazy experiences that my friends and other peers endure with staff and faculty throughout my 3.5 years there. I have experienced questionable professors and staff who are obviously there for the paycheck. On the other end, I have met 2x as many INCREDIBLE staff and faculty throughout my time at Stanbridge. People need to understand that this is still a relatively new program and it's still working through a lot of adjustments both within the programs itself, how they handle students, and how they handle staff. But with being new comes an advantage to incoming students because with the help of the right people and resources, there is flexibility and grace that comes with a class or a term that possibly end in a fluke (I.e. bad professors, missing classes due to extreme circumstances, etc.). I understand this is not everyone's experience, but I HAVE seen multiple times where the school does work with students to properly evaluate their knowledge of a subject a second time if there is overwhelming evidence showing it was not properly done the first time. It also is dependent on how an issue is communicated as well. Any nursing program out there is hard and rigorous. Stanbridge is not unique to this. I can confidently say that I went in to the NCLEX feeling so prepared because of how this school preps you. If you follow testing strategies and work closely with the coaches at the end of the program YOU. WILL. PASS. From Term 1 Stanbridge works with students not just on building testing stamina but building testing stamina while sleep deprived. It's not officially an actual thing. They always told us to be well rested and to eat before but, the reality of any nursing program is adequate sleep is simply not possible. You just have to get through each term and pass. Keep moving even if you have a set back, do your best to not stop. I have no idea how many times I thought to myself that I will more than likely not remember anything after the program and I questioned if I really actually learned anything. I have been an ER nurse for almost 7 months now. Every moment of feeling competent, confident, and proud to be a nurse I owe to Stanbridge. While most of my peers in my new grad program have forgotten a lot of basics and high priorities, I am one of the few who still remembers and I am so thankful. I had zero medical background coming into the program. My science gpa at a 3.5 was not competitive enough for CCs, UCs, or CSUs to see me as a priority candidate for their RN program. Stanbridge was the first school to take a chance on me and invest in me. Before Stanbridge I was never the student who was picked for scholarships, awards, or special internships. The last 2 years at Stanbridge I received scholarships every term, was selected for Student Hospital Fellowship, received the Presidential Service Award, and ended the program with the Thomas Fuentes Service Award. This was all because ONE staff member encouraged me to apply each time an opportunity was sent out. The Stanbridge experience is truly what YOU choose to make it. I have met some amazing people with incredible hearts at this school. I loved that I don't need to hike or walk a mile to get to class. I loved that I only needed to be on the ground once or twice a week. Nursing school was THE hardest thing I have ever done. I gave up my entire life for 3 years just to eat, live, breathe, and sleep nursing. You can ensure your success in this program if you want this more than anything else. There will be times where you have to pick school over your family and it sucks. But being on the other side now, it is SO worth it and now I have the rest of my life. My husband is currently in the program now and is in term 4 at the OC campus. He hasn't been in school full time in over 10 years and he is doing amazing. I'm proud to be a nurse and I'm proud to be a Stanbridge Alum. The cost for tuition is pretty steep. If you have a good tribe behind you and can afford to not work during the program, I highly recommend it!

The pacing was manageable. It was challenging, but it felt intentional rather than overwhelming. As a mom with two kids, I was able to handle it. They are my everything so I'm proud to do it for them. The course and labs were hands-on, the instructors were clear, and the program prepared me well for the NCLEX. I stayed organized, used support when I needed it, and never felt like I was struggling to get answers or keep things on track. For what I needed at that time, the part-time program allowed me to move forward into nursing, it worked.

I graduated with a background in business and by taking the Dev Masters course was able to quickly learn what I wanted to about data science. While the program offers a lot of office hours to take advantage of most of the work to go beyond simple understanding must be done on your own outside of the classroom. The teachers are very good at explaining the overall concepts and helping with specific problems, but just sitting through the classes will not get you enough experience to really learn the subject. The classes themselves are taught very well and supplemented with a lot of hands on learning experiences. You can even tailor your hands on projects to what you specifically want to learn. I would recommend this course to anyone whose primary goal is to learn how they can leverage data science in their respective field. The only downside to consider is that due to the rigorous nature of the material and amount of information that is possible to learn most of the work done to be successful must be done on your own or with some assistance with specific questions during office hours
