I design flyers for internal communications and internal events Day 1 & Day 2 of Illustrator: The instructor was new, felt as if he had more Photoshop experience and kept referencing to how he's better at Photoshop. Felt all over the place with his teaching style, didn't know where to start and assumed we knew everything. Felt unprofessional and couldn't follow along Day 2 of Photoshop in September: I took a Day 2 class (skipped day one due to school) with one teacher and loved his teaching style! He was professional and had projects ready for us, helped students alike. I wish I got his name but he was an older gentleman, and I really liked his style! Day 1 of Photoshop in November: This instructor, although not her fault, started forty minutes late because the Photoshop programs weren't working. IT support didn't really help out, and I had to share a computer until they got the other one running. Also her teaching style was all over the place and we were all confused. Reservations: My manager and I had no problem registering for Illustrator. But for Photoshop class, my manager was told they accidentally booked someone else in place of her because my manager had to postpone. So I went by myself... Mistakes happen but we paid a lot for these classes! I would not recommend this facility, it may be the cheapest program around Orange County but there's a reason why. It's a hit or miss with the instructor so hopefully you get lucky!

I am an Alumn from BSNRS cohort 7 but a majority of the experience of my time at Stanbridge was in…read moreBSNLA cohort 6. I finished the BSN program in July of 2025. I received my ATT (approval to test) within one week from my last day. I had the option to test immediately but I had applied to test with accommodations so with limited centers for accommodations I tested 1 month out in August and passed the first time. I worked closely with our Careers Center and the director Dr. Willinger to create an amazing resume right after receiving my license, began applying to jobs immediately and received an invitation to interview within one week for DaVita. Two weeks later I received an invitation to interview for an ER position close to home which was my first choice to build a strong foundation as a new nurse. I know there are a lot of negative comments about this school on here. I have heard and watched a lot of sad and crazy experiences that my friends and other peers endure with staff and faculty throughout my 3.5 years there. I have experienced questionable professors and staff who are obviously there for the paycheck. On the other end, I have met 2x as many INCREDIBLE staff and faculty throughout my time at Stanbridge. People need to understand that this is still a relatively new program and it's still working through a lot of adjustments both within the programs itself, how they handle students, and how they handle staff. But with being new comes an advantage to incoming students because with the help of the right people and resources, there is flexibility and grace that comes with a class or a term that possibly end in a fluke (I.e. bad professors, missing classes due to extreme circumstances, etc.). I understand this is not everyone's experience, but I HAVE seen multiple times where the school does work with students to properly evaluate their knowledge of a subject a second time if there is overwhelming evidence showing it was not properly done the first time. It also is dependent on how an issue is communicated as well. Any nursing program out there is hard and rigorous. Stanbridge is not unique to this. I can confidently say that I went in to the NCLEX feeling so prepared because of how this school preps you. If you follow testing strategies and work closely with the coaches at the end of the program YOU. WILL. PASS. From Term 1 Stanbridge works with students not just on building testing stamina but building testing stamina while sleep deprived. It's not officially an actual thing. They always told us to be well rested and to eat before but, the reality of any nursing program is adequate sleep is simply not possible. You just have to get through each term and pass. Keep moving even if you have a set back, do your best to not stop. I have no idea how many times I thought to myself that I will more than likely not remember anything after the program and I questioned if I really actually learned anything. I have been an ER nurse for almost 7 months now. Every moment of feeling competent, confident, and proud to be a nurse I owe to Stanbridge. While most of my peers in my new grad program have forgotten a lot of basics and high priorities, I am one of the few who still remembers and I am so thankful. I had zero medical background coming into the program. My science gpa at a 3.5 was not competitive enough for CCs, UCs, or CSUs to see me as a priority candidate for their RN program. Stanbridge was the first school to take a chance on me and invest in me. Before Stanbridge I was never the student who was picked for scholarships, awards, or special internships. The last 2 years at Stanbridge I received scholarships every term, was selected for Student Hospital Fellowship, received the Presidential Service Award, and ended the program with the Thomas Fuentes Service Award. This was all because ONE staff member encouraged me to apply each time an opportunity was sent out. The Stanbridge experience is truly what YOU choose to make it. I have met some amazing people with incredible hearts at this school. I loved that I don't need to hike or walk a mile to get to class. I loved that I only needed to be on the ground once or twice a week. Nursing school was THE hardest thing I have ever done. I gave up my entire life for 3 years just to eat, live, breathe, and sleep nursing. You can ensure your success in this program if you want this more than anything else. There will be times where you have to pick school over your family and it sucks. But being on the other side now, it is SO worth it and now I have the rest of my life. My husband is currently in the program now and is in term 4 at the OC campus. He hasn't been in school full time in over 10 years and he is doing amazing. I'm proud to be a nurse and I'm proud to be a Stanbridge Alum. The cost for tuition is pretty steep. If you have a good tribe behind you and can afford to not work during the program, I highly recommend it!

An LVN instructor at an accelerated program who has a god complex and a nasty attitude. Check her out on rate my professor lol. I am now at a REAL school and thriving. Run run run before you end up with federal loans!! I can easily show my grades and attendance. I was a great student and despite her lies that I had a lack of engagement she knows it. I just knew she was an overgrown mean girl. I watched her disrespect and humiliate students for asking QUESTIONS. She docked my grade and failed me a whole term by 1 point for "phone usage" I glanced at my phone in the middle of a medical emergency for my type 1 diabetic child and provided phone records. They did not care. She interrupted and made discouraging comments during practicals and failed more than half the class but passed a student and told her she could tell she tried so she was choosing to pass her. Major favoritism. She made discriminatory comments about lesbians during an extra credit zoom. She made ignorant comments about HIV and getting tested for HIV. Nasty nasty energy. Also remember you can not transfer these credits to a real school. Do it the right way. Go to an actual college, get on the waitlist and save yourself thousands and thoussssands of dollars and get the best education.

I started the program with no experience in coding. So I spent the first month doing python and…read morestatistics prework and audited classes on Saturdays and Sundays just to get myself familiarized with data science and machine learning concepts. The following month, I started fresh with a new cohort and finished the entire program with a portfolio of 6 projects. Following is roughly what my program, Mastering Applied Data Science, looked like. Each quarter was about 3 to 4 weeks long. First quarter we had classes which are lectures with in-class exercises. In the second quarter, we worked on projects and met once either on a Saturday or Sunday to present our projects. In the third quarter, we had lectures again. The fourth/last quarter was back to hands-on projects. A lot of information is covered in 12 to 16 weeks. Lecture classes are a lot of information with in-class mini assignments and exercises which help in understanding the material better and to get in the habit of typing code. People teaching the class are really knowledgeable and take the time to explain concepts and answer questions. They are really patient with answering questions and if people don't understand a concept they will happily explain the concept again. Because it is hard to digest all the information, a lot of things start to make sense during hands-on project weeks, at least that was my experience. We got datasets with some instructions and the following week, we presented our projects. This project-based learning was helpful for me in two ways. I had to explain my findings and thought process to others and answer any questions they had. This is a big part of Data Science because Data Scientists are expected to present and communicate what they learned from data and how can they address the business problem. Project days are also great because you get to learn from other people and what they did differently. I have learned and mastered a wide range of data science and machine learning skills because of the program, but I will list a few of those skills. Python, data analysis, cleaning, visualization. Regression and classification predictive modeling, train test split, Kfolds, cross-validation, different methods of grid-search, hyper-parameter tuning, sampling (Zia did an amazing job at explaining this concept, its importance, and how to effectively do sampling). Instructors are really helpful, knowledgeable and dedicated to teaching. I remember making office hour/ mentoring appointments with Kate to talk about the projects and she would give me constructive feedback to improve them and push me to do better. First half of the program is manageable and you can get relatively good learning and applying data science concepts. But second half of the program is overwhelming because the program also covers big data (spark), tensor flow, computer vision, recommender system, and natural language processing. These are more of specializations, except for maybe spark to work with big data. So each specialization would need weeks to months to get good at them. But if you don't understand any of these concepts they welcome you to repeat it without charging for it. You will get exposed to a lot of information and they will do their best to explain the concepts and answer any questions you have. You will learn a lot in the program if you invest time in it and take what they cover in the class and practice that outside of class, work on projects and work incredibly hard.

The owner Arshad has not been transparent and communicative as to why I have not received payment.
