Simply the best! I only wish I had signed up my daughter sooner. She has always loved art, but I couldn't find a place nearby that focused on teaching art vs doing arts and crafts. A friend recommended Art Steps, and it only took the first class to see how great this place is. She has learned so much in just a year. I'm always amazed by what she comes home with. She especially loves Miss Lilly. I also love how easy it is to pay with auto-pay and to use the portal for absences and make ups.

I highly recommend this location! We met Robin at the Orange County Imaginology Fair and my daughter drew and colored a Pikachu pokemon. Robin was so kind. I observed her interaction with the children and I really appreciated the way that she spoke to them. We went to this location for a free session before signing up for monthly sessions and it was amazing! My daughter loved for the short time while we were there. The studio offers art lessons and workshops. There's also classes available for sculpting and classes with a focus on anime. The only reason we stopped attending was because my daughter was accepted into an art conservatory junior high school and she now draws everyday. I recommend this location to anyone wanting to become an artist, or just get a refresher on art, or just improve their art skills. It's also great for homeschooling families.

We came during the week around midday, so parking was easy to find, but if you're coming on a weekend or in the evening, I'd recommend arriving early since parking is limited. Our instructor, Sage, was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the entire pottery-making process and making it feel approachable even for beginners. We made two pieces total--one hand-built and one thrown on the wheel--which was really fun and exciting to try. The whole experience was creative, relaxing, and unique. I would definitely recommend this class and will be suggesting it to friends and family!

We took the one-time pottery class and it's nearly impossible to get ahold of them. After your class you're supposed to get an email a few weeks later to schedule glazing. I never got the email, had to reach out twice to get any contact. Then after glazing you're supposed to get another email to pick up your pieces. Guess what, I never got it and had to reach out again. Overall it took us over 3 months from the first class to get our pieces. It's a great concept and fun but would not recommend this business to anyone.

I am 27 years old, I'd say the class ranges from 17-70! There is about 10-ish people in the class. Each person works on their own piece- meaning she is NOT up in the front giving instructions while everyone paints the same dang thing. This is not the type of class. The classes are intimate, and very relaxed. She has everything you need to start your first masterpiece. Really, you don't need to bring a thing! You can choose any medium in the adult class- oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, ceramics, and probably even more. It's is SUCH a great place for a beginner, because you can try all the different mediums until you find one right for you, with no investment in supplies! This is rare. Sher really is a wonderful woman. She is as hands on or hands off as you need. If you need her to sit by you and walk you through every step, she's there. If you want to do you own thing she'll stop by with once or twice with encouragement and her two cents! Most students in the adult class have been going to her for years and doing their own thing, so she's always able to give extra attention to newbies. She is very chatty, it seems like everyone in the class is old friends. She has great stories to tell. I'm a bit quieter while I'm painting, but I do not find the chatter among the class distracting at all. Even though I've painted most my life, i was a bit nervous coming into a new studio- NO NEED! This is the most relaxed, kind group of people I've found. No artsy egos, no judgment, no pressure. Lastly, her children's classes and art camps seem to be super popular. Some of the parents are now in the adult class because they were jealous of how much fun the kids were having. How cool is that!
