The night before our party, the RGB host actually FaceTimed us and walked us through what was available for the party, including the plates, forks, cups, chairs, and games. That was incredibly helpful because we knew exactly what we needed to bring before arriving. On the day of the party, they let us come in at 10:30 AM to set up for our 11:00 reservation. The person running the front desk was professional, helpful, and very clear about the rules and how everything worked. Most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast. They were running around, playing, and came out sweaty and happy. The games kept them entertained without the parents having to manage everything, while the adults were able to relax, eat pizza, and actually talk in the party room. When our reservation ended at 12:30, our guests helped us clean up and we finished vacating around 12:40. RGB was very reasonable and didn't try to charge us extra while we were actively cleaning and leaving. The party even continued afterward with some of the kids playing at the outdoor chess area nearby. Our son had a fantastic 6th birthday, his friends had a blast, and the parents were able to enjoy themselves too. The staff made the entire experience easy from the night before through cleanup. We would absolutely recommend RGB Run for a kids' birthday party and would happily come back.

My first recent try was to go the traditional route - heater, filter, bottles of water conditioner & beneficial bacteria, etc. etc. - when I unexpectedly happened upon an eye-opening You-Tube vid about the Walstad method (less homework & a more natural environment, the way God intended). So I returned all that other gear & am starting from scratch. Fernando eased My initial anxiety arriving as a total tank newbie, and gave Me a tour of the various low-maintenance plants I could start My nitrogen cycling with. Nolan - the Captain of this aquarium supplies ship - answered every one of My questions with patience & grace, did not talk down to Me or make Me feel stupid, and I left feeling happily hopeful that I might actually be successful in creating a fish-friendly safe & healthy environment. The exhibits are incredibly interactive, and they're constantly changing things out, so there's always something new to discover. The admission prices are already very reasonable, but we ended up getting an annual pass because you can easily make your money back within just a couple of visits. The annual pass also includes free parking, which is a nice bonus. Even better, the membership gives you access to a network of science centers and museums around the country that are part of the same organization, so when you're traveling, there's a good chance you'll be able to visit another participating science museum for free or at a discounted rate. The Discovery Cube itself is much bigger than I expected from the outside. You can easily spend several hours here, especially with younger kids. Pretty much every exhibit is hands-on and interactive, which makes it much more engaging than a traditional museum. My favorite exhibit is the supermarket. You get a shopping cart with a screen and go around the store scanning different items based on the game or challenge on the screen. It's surprisingly fun and also sneaks in some learning about nutrition, shopping, and making healthy choices. Overall, this is one of those places we're happy to keep coming back to, especially with the kids. The annual pass is absolutely worth it if you live nearby and plan on visiting more than once or twice. One small tip: bring hand sanitizer. With so many interactive exhibits and kids touching everything, you'll definitely want it!

I also found out that this visit can be free during the first weekend of the month, for Bank of America account holders. Upon entering the museum, there was a display of build your own racing cars where a lot of kids were racing their creations. It was definitely a fun site to see. As you venture throughout the museum towards the back area, you walk into the dinosaur exhibit area. This is where they talk about fossils and various dinosaurs and there's also an explorer kit that you pay extra to try and find items and clues. Upstairs, you can have a better view of the space missile rocket that's on display and it's quite fascinating to read about rockets. Towards the back right of the museum currently there is a Scooby Doo Halloween exhibit so it was also fun to experience that area. Lastly, the most famous area is still the indoor Minh water area where you can see where is fish and stingrays. Overall a great experience for kids and adults. One less star as you have to pay $10 to park in their parking lot. I remember many years ago I used to be free, but I guess since it's more popular, you have to pay for parking now.
