It was nonstop fun, and he loved connecting with old friends and making new ones. The counselors were incredible, so patient, positive and full of energy. A huge thank you to Jim (AKA Cardinal), the coach for the Bears group this past week! He made the week unforgettable, and my son won't stop talking about how much fun he had and how awesome his coach was. You can also buy food from them (catered daily from nearby restaurants) which is a huge bonus for kids like mine who aren't into cold sandwiches. We just finished 8 weeks back to back of incredible summer camps, and this was definitely a top contender for my kid. We will be back, and I 100% recommend Camp James.

My wife paid for a class here as a surprise for our 9th wedding anniversary. My wife got out of the car and was at the door inside that window. They wouldn't let her in without me, and I was still parking. I walked in 11 minutes after the start -- one minute past their cutoff. There were maybe four to six people in the room. I explained the family situation involving my son. I told them it was our anniversary. My wife was distraught, and I pleaded with them and tried to reason with them. They turned us away anyway. We weren't asking anyone to slow the class down or stay late -- we would have caught up on our own. My wife left humiliated on the day she had planned as a gift. I get it -- you have to run a business, and you have to start on time. But she was there inside the window you gave us and you wouldn't seat her. It came down to one minute and two people standing in front of you, and you chose the minute. The class started without us. So did the last impression I'll have of this place.

The only thing may be that the other kids were more daring and advanced so they cycled through everything quickly while my kid took a long time working up the courage and solving problems on certain walls. The staff & curriculum, coupled with core values to set a strong educational foundation, can be compared to what public school used to be in the 70s and 80s. There is no comparison to modern public or even private school these days, because Seashore would win by a landslide. My child has only attended Kindergarten so far but will continue until 8th grade, because I've witnessed first hand how the rest of the kids all operate on campus; for example, visiting a public school is like seeing little feral zombies running around, but the Seashore kids appear to possess critical thought naturally due to the customization for each child, paired with a screen free environment. It's unmatched and I wouldn't have my kids go anywhere else! (Not to mention, the Staff themselves and the parents and students are all like one big family because of the small class sizes!) 1000/10, would recommend to anyone who wishes to see their child grow into an intelligent, respectful, wise, and wonderful adult!!
