What can I say about Lofty?! It's amazing!! My son is 6 years old going into 1st grade. My husband and I are so thankful for Lofty Learning. We enrolled our daughter this year. She had two years of preK and a kinder this year. My husband and I, as well as her teacher had concerns because she was behind her peers. My husband and I tried to help but it was difficult to keep her focused and motivated. So we enrolled her into Lofty. We started with 3 days a week. After a few weeks, we noticed a change in our daughter. This is a way overdue review of summer camp at Lofty. Now that summer is quick approaching, the first place I have in mind to send my daughter is Lofty. She had an incredible time last summer. Summer Camp consists of math and reading for the first 2 hours and arts and crafts for the last hour - which they had a different theme weekly. My daughter especially loved the Sanrio and Pokémon themes. Miss Audrey was one of the tutors for my daughter's class, who was very caring. This review is for Lofty's 2024 Summer Camp program. We were having a hard time trying to find an academic summer camp program for our son. We were ecstatic when we saw the Summer Camp program post/AD on Lofty's social media pages. We signed him up for 5 weeks and he loved it so much! He was able to make friends and interact with kiddos his age, he was able to get a head start on some 1st grade curriculum, did many STEM activities + arts and crafts and built so much confidence during those 5 weeks. He woke up excited every morning to attend summer camp and during pick up, he would talk nonstop about what he did that day. 5 weeks went by so quick and by the end of camp, he was already asking us to sign him up for Lofty's 2025 Summer Camp. We are so grateful for Ms. Vanessa + Lofty for creating such an amazing summer program that our son was able to enjoy and love so much! It's been almost 4 weeks since summer camp ended for him, he has yet to stop talking about it. He is already looking forward to 2025 Summer Camp. We are now in the new school year and with our extremely positive experience with Lofty's private tutoring + 2024 summer camp, we decided to just enroll our son into private tutoring for the new school year. We did not want to wait until he struggles to enroll him, we wanted to give him the opportunity to just excel right from the beginning of the school year. We signed our kids, going into 2nd and 4th grades, up for morning summer camp all summer at Lofty. Both kids are a little behind in math and reading and we didn't want them to get out of the get up in the morning, get dressed, etc. routine so that once the new school year started, the transition was a little smoother. We've been really happy with Lofty. First, the studio itself is really cute. The little areas throughout are welcoming and engaging. Great color palette and use of materials that are really cohesive with Lofty's other branding. My kids have loved the teachers, the other students, and the fun projects and activities they've done all summer. Neither kid has ever complained about going, and they come home happy and excited to talk to us about what they learned. We expect some continued gaps in their academics because we're still making up lost time because of Covid, so we anticipate having them do after school tutoring at Lofty as well. read more

We enrolled our 5 year-old son at Lofty Learning Studios in January of 2023, as we wanted to ensure he had additional support to stay on par with his peers at school. While he is social and energetic by nature, he always seemed to be 1-2 steps behind his friends and we didn't want to this to eventually impact his desire to engage at school. My wife and I were sold on Lofty Learning Studios the first time we met Ms. Vanessa. She took the time to listen to our concerns and walk us through her approach to ensuring our son's progress to align with the school district's expectations. As a former educator herself, she was aware of the curriculum for his grade level and even had the same tools/resources that were used in our son's class. We were also happy to hear about the small tutor to student ratio maintained at Lofty, as we wanted to make sure he got a lot of personal attention. In short, our son has grown by leaps and bounds since enrolling at Lofty and we couldn't be more proud of him. His is currently reading alongside his peers in school and were told he has an advanced grasp of math. We know that Ms. Vanessa and her team have been instrumental in his growth over the past 4 months. As a final point of emphasis, our son started on a 2X per week program... but one month into the program, he requested to attend Lofty more often as he was having so much fun meeting and learning with new friends. Our boys attended Lofty Learning this summer, and each one enjoyed the experience. The program spans three hours: the first is dedicated to math, the second to reading, and the third to arts and crafts. Unsurprisingly, the arts and crafts segment was a hit with my children. They enjoyed crafting Pokemon characters, superhero armor, Minecraft building, etc. As a parent, I appreciated the emphasis on math and reading and appreciate the small class sizes. My sister has been recently going to Lofty Learning Studios for her afterschool program. Ms. Vanessa walked me through the entire process and asked questions to better suite my sister's needs. Not only did my sister improve her academic learning ability but was also able to socialize with other students in the program. This review is long overdue. I enrolled both of my kids to Lofty summer camp because I want to keep up their learning momentum over the summer. They were going into 5th and 7th grade. The kids love their classes and teachers there so much, and unbeknownst to me, they told Ms. Vanessa that they are coming back next summer. And trust me when I say these are the very same kids that I had to drag out of bed every morning to go to summer school at other learning studios in past years. My younger son who is in 5th grade now has been struggling with schoolwork since 4th grade. I know without a doubt that I need to give him the help he needs to have a better grasp on math concepts, ELA comprehension, and vocabulary enrichment before he reaches middle school. The reality is classroom size at public school is fairly big at 26-30 kids per class and it's a struggle for teachers to focus on each kid and not fall behind schedule with their curriculum. I help my kids with their homework at home as well, but I am not great at explaining the concepts using common core method. I talked to Ms. Vanessa and enrolled him into Lofty after school 4 days/week. This is our first month and I already see improvements when he can teach back to me his homework. He is also happier and more confident with schoolwork. I hope Lofty will help him reach his potential. Another important thing I want to mention is Lofty follows FVSD school curriculum very closely and I praise Ms. Vanessa for keeping the kids responsible with organizing their work nice and neat in their folder because as a mom with OCD, I cringe up at crumbled worksheets at the bottom of their backpack. I found out about Lofty Learning Studios through FV Summer Fest. I'm so glad that I enrolled both my kids to their summer camp and Vietnamese class! I didn't want my kids 6 and 10 yr old to just be on their iPads all day so this was perfect! The owner Vanessa was very thorough about their offerings and my kids loved it. We have two Elementary level children who joined Lofty Learning this past school year. It has been a wonderful experience. Ms. Vanessa is so responsive, flexible and accommodating. She has a detailed curriculum she follows, and when we asked if she can teach math according to our school's program, she was quickly on board. I enrolled my 5 year old son into this learning studio about two weeks ago. My son has been out of school for about a month and I noticed he started to forget what he was learning in preschool. I wanted to make sure that he was refreshed before starting kindergarten this fall. Since he started with Lofty, I've noticed that he's been much better with his numbers, letters & penmanship.
