The Artist Lab is a wonderful art school! My son absolutely loves it and we find the staff, studio and instructors to be extremely professional. My son is focused on digital art and 3D sculpting and they are teaching him the latest tools. Most importantly, like with any artist, they help him to create and improve the type of art that HE wants to create. They are great at giving guidance and providing support for him when he has questions or wants to learn new techniques. The instructors are all experienced in their respective areas and you can even see their photos and bios on the main wall when you enter the studio. They are always available at the end of class to go over what was covered in class and to answer any questions from parents as well. We are very happy with our choice to send our son to The Artist Lab. read more

I have had my boys on their highest memberships for a year when they were still Little Artist Lab, before they expanded to Woodbridge. I also booked a private class for 10 when they first opened in Tustin and Danqing was very personable. I then booked out the studio for a private birthday for my older son in 2017, which exposed more friends to her lab. I appreciate that she hires Art and Design graduates and doesn't skimp on expertise. I haven't had the chance to visit her place since she changed her name to just The Artist Lab, but I know her passion permeates through. I wish her all of the best! read more

My 7 years old boy started with Artist Lab since he was 3 years old. We have been seeing all the great programs and the teachers they have at the Artist lab Their programs are fun, practical, and easy to follow. The teachers are very patient and good at bringing the best out of the kids. Seems to me, those teachers have a lot experiences working with kids, they know how to make the kids working hard in a fun and motivated environment. All their teachers information are posted, I think all of them have art degrees. The Artist Lab also have events for kids showcase their productions which my son is absolutely looking forward to. During pandemic, my boy joined their online classes and went back onsite classes once they reopen. They have the dividers between seats. Kids and teachers are required to wear masks all times. They also measure the temperature every time. Parents are no longer allowed to go in inside, but I think I also saw some dyson air purifier machines on the floor. So I feel very confident sending him back with all the safety measurements they take in place. read more

My daughter started her preschool art classes last Fall and she has been at the program for almost nine months and have improved so much. Her both teachers Miss Erin and Miss Mariana are very attentive to her drawing details and provide always helpful tips and advice and encouragement. She love going to her art classes and looks forward to them every weekend. The facility is very open and airy and clean and you get a really good feel for an art lab and professional. Not a good experience. I went today with my daughter for their bring a friend promotion and it was so lame. I thought they would teach some sort of drawing techniques or something but they literally taught absolutely nothing. They showed off some students work and then just basically let them free draw. My daughter was crying and we left early. She really thought someone was going to help her and give her an art lesson. This was more of a "sign up for our classes" promotion and if this is an example of how their classes are then, no thank you. It was a complete waste of my time and I feel bad for hyping it up like something fun just for my daughter to be let down. read more

Danqing, the owner, has truly created an amazing environment where kids (and adults) can have fun while learning all the skills and fundamentals of creating different art from such gifted artist.
