When I walked in, there was no greeting at all. I only had a simple order, but two employees spent a lot of time chatting while making drinks, and it took much longer than expected. As usual, I ordered two Iced Vanilla Lattes and a strawberry milk for my child. The strawberry milk was served in a paper cup. When I tasted it, it wasn't cold, so I politely asked if it could be transferred to a clear to-go cup with ice. The staff said they couldn't provide a clear cup with ice because of store policy. Honestly, I was surprised by the response. It was such a simple request, and I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. A little flexibility and customer service would have gone a long way. I visit coffee shops almost every day, and if you look at my reviews, you'll see that I'm usually very generous and understanding when it comes to coffee shops. However, today's experience was by far one of the most disappointing I've had. I've enjoyed this place for a long time, which makes this visit even more unfortunate.

I've had the ice strawberry, vanilla latte, Spanish latte, etc. and their drinks are super consistent. They work well both iced and hot. The shots they pull are incredibly well-rounded-not too acidic and not too bitter. In regards to pastries, the blueberry scone is the best one in my opinion. It's so buttery and fluffy without being dry and crumbly. It's also gigantic! I have to split it into two servings. I've tried the earl gray one, but I didn't particularly like that one since it was closer to a traditional scone in terms of texture and crumb. It was dry, and I couldn't really get any earl gray flavor from it. They do have other scone flavors I want to try like lemon and pumpkin. My boyfriend likes their cookies which also happen to be generously sized. Service is fast, and they're open to making adjustments to sweetness on drinks, which is always a plus in my book. I do love that they have unique scones and giant cookies available which come in different, Korean-inspired flavors like kabocha and sweet potato! The scones do carry too much of that raw flour flavor for me, but I love their giant chocolate walnut cookie. Goes great with one of their lattes with a price that can't be beat!
