We love YSP! No one takes better care of our dog, Ellie. She always has the best time at daycare/boarding and she loves all the walkers that come see her during the day. And now that they've switched their dog walking reports to email, I'm able to relax a bit more during the day after reading it and seeing the adorable pic they attach. We are so happy to have YSP so close. Greer is very reliable, professional and caring. read more

absolute best part of living where we live is having these wonderful folks in the neighborhood. Our 3 year old golden has been going to daycare here since he was a pup and the team here truly feel like family to us at this point. They even offer services drop him safely at home and feed him for us if we have to be at work late or have plans. absolute luxury. Even though we moved out of Brooklyn 8 years ago, I still take my dog all the way back to YSP for any long term boarding. I think that says it all!! Their new boarding facility in the Navy Yard is beautiful and, as always, very thoughtfully designed with every type of dog in mind. When she is with YSP, I know my dog is well cared for and, more importantly, truly loved. I could not recommend them more highly. read more

You and your adopted pup or your curious cat might be sitting in front of your laptop browsing all the glitzy Williamsburg doggy daycare options, wondering how Your Spoiled Pets stacks up. Are Greer and Scott a reliable "mom and pop" duo? Will your animals be cared for in a safe and clean environment? Will kitty be fed and played with on time while you're away working on that tan/sunburn in Tulum? Can you trust them with your keys and your pets' lives? Can you contact them easily before that last minute ski trip? Is this just a matter of location convenience or are they worth your business? After almost two years of dog walks pre pandemic, plenty of planned dog boarding nights and cat visits, as well as last minute help during family emergencies, my family unequivocally endorses Your Spoiled Pets - not as a matter of convenience, but because they are as reliable as they come - and they WILL spoil your pets for the better. Dog walks - a thing of the past, but maybe it will come back now with post COVID return to office. They had a great crew back in 2019. Dog daycare/boarding - the space is clean, staff are friendly, doggy report cards are cute and informative, and instructions are followed. Our wild guy always comes back happy and tired AF - and a tired dog is a great dog! I use the app to book in advance, but also call in or walk in when we are in a pinch - a true mom & pop, personalized experience that not every provider offers. As you know with pet businesses, it can be a dog eat dog world out there- but I know I can lean on YSP. Anecdote time-- I came 5 minutes before closing recently because my partner was hospitalized and I needed dog boarding and cat visits in a pinch. Scott helped me arrange for our pets on the spot - a truly gracious and accommodating gesture, for which my family is incredibly grateful and pets are forever spoiled. And that is the whole point, isn't it. What is there to say about cat sitters? Our old kitty loves being fed and played with, and we always come home to a happy cat and clean food bowls. Throw your hands up for the Brooklyn cats- it's not all about the dogs. In short, we trust Scott and Greer and their staff with our pets' lives. They care a great deal, they are family people, they "get" you and your pets, they give a level of service unparalleled in this competitive Brooklyn scene - and they put up with me and all my pet-spoiling requests. Again, eternally grateful for their help with the pets in those rare family emergencies- seriously don't know what we'd do without them! Thank you Scott, Greer, and the YSP staff - you are best in show. read more

I am not exaggerating when I say that I truly don't know what I'd do without YSP. Because of this amazing local company, I've been able to take a number of work and personal trips knowing that my beloved cat Liam is being well taken care of and that feeling of peace and comfort is seriously priceless. They are wonderful with communication and I live for the "repurrts" complete with photos that they send when I'm away so I can stay in the loop while I'm out of town. Your Spoiled Pets is a lifesaver. My dog LOVES coming here for daycare and walks. Everyone who works here is wonderful and my dog is well cared for. Especially love that they offer walks to and from daycare. Highly highly recommend! read more

Spoiled Pets indeed! This is by far the best pet service around, and we love going back to them every time we need someone to come check on our two cats while we're out of town. They're always punctual, communicative, friendly and incredibly helpful! Food schedules, cleaning, water, everything always taken care of. We always love getting photo updates of the cats too (who are ordinarily very shy) and they love the visits from their sitters! This last week during the holidays, Scott was able to accommodate a last minute visit addition to check on our cats to make sure they were out and about, giving me huge peace of mind (we'd hurried out the door and wanted to doubly make sure they hadn't gotten stuck in a closet!!). On top of that, our Litter Robot stopped working the DAY OF our departure, and while they scooped it manually the first couple days, the visitor on the last day, unprompted, FIXED it!! Such a huge weight off our shoulders not having to come home to a project, and so thoughtful of them. Huge shoutout to Scott and to Sergio for the fix! We'll always use their services, for many years to come, cannot recommend them enough! read more

This was the first time we've used a cat sitter to take care of our two cats. Last minute, we amended some notes to their feeding plans and Scott and Evelyn were super responsive, kind, and professional. Every other visit we received a short report and a photo which put our minds at ease over the week we were away. We will definitely use their services in the future. read more

wonderful service, they've been looking after my cat for the past year and I've had great experiences every time. Friendly, communicative and efficient. Definitely recommend! read more

Tara and the YSP team are truly unbelievable. Tara walked my little one, Lucho for about two years before we moved out of state earlier this year. During that time I'd come home to the most hilarious written notes of how their walk went. My dog has a huge personality and she would capture his little antics and fun moments in these notes so perfectly to the point where I have every single note saved and want to turn them into a coffee table book one day. You can tell Tara and the team really value the time they spend with each dog and getting to know and celebrate their personalities. It gave me such peace of mind to know I was leaving my fur baby in the best of hands. I truly can not recommend them enough and so wish we could use their services in Boston (hint hint Greer, please open a place here one day!). If you're in need of a dog walker or dog daycare for your pup, there's no one else in the area to consider but Your Spoiled Pets. read more

I felt totally at ease leaving my cat in my apartment for a week knowing he was well taken care of. Have tried a few larger doggie daycares in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area and this has by far been my favorite. The others continually raised their prices, were rude, and inflexible. So relieved to find such a great option in the community that truly seems to care about your dog rather than just the money. Looking forward to returning here once I go back to work, and I know, my dog is too! read more

This review is long over due but I was really disappointed using this company. I reached out and explained I was gone for the weekend and asked if they did check in walks because I was gone for a couple days. They said yes of course.. so nice on the phone..:My dog is the easiest but I wanted to just get a simple update.. hey your dog is good.. all I needed. I heard nothing! I had to reach out twice to even get a response. And the owner I'm Assuming sent me the rudest email. Which I'm wondering if I should post.. basically saying we can't accommodate you we won't walk your dog in the future. REAllY... that's the email you're going to send a cuStomer while they are away for the weekend. I've got better Updates from WAG. I would recommend finding someone in the neighborhood who actually cares.. you won't just feel like a number. Try the app Nextdoor read more

YSP is the best doggy daycare in the biz, hands down. Greer, Scott, and their entire team treat every single pup as their own, with great attention and care for individual needs of your fur baby. Jetta has been to YSP countless times and always comes outta there tired and happy; she makes new friends and enjoys catching up with old pals. There's space for her to chill out in the dog house, or romp around and wreak havoc. Jetta's stayed over for boarding too, and has some pretty particular feeding instructions with her IBD--no problem for the YSP team; she was given all of the love and attention she needed. If you need a doggy daycare, boarding, walks, or cat sits, give Greer and Scott a call. Jetta promises that you will be happy you did! read more

Greer and Scott of YSP are wonderful business owners who consistently go above and beyond to care for our two cats. We have been using their cat sitting services for close to five years and it's very clear that our cats trust them and are well cared for while we are away. On a recent sit one of our cats was hiding a little too well and Greer went back as many times as needed to locate her and give her pets and treats. Can't recommend them enough. This review is long overdue, and since I've recently moved from this neighborhood I no longer use their services anymore. However I just wanted to say how much I've appreciated Scott and Greer for the past 3 years and was really sad to say goodbye - from the moment my dog Lily and I met Greer at the meet & greet you could tell she was serious about her business, is super knowledgeable about dogs, and really cares about her clients. There were a couple times when I left Lily at daycare and she got in a scuffle with another dog, and Greer immediately called/emailed to let me know what happened. I thought that was super professional and responsible of her as a business owner to take upon herself to do. I didn't use the daycare services as much as the walking services, but I used their walking services regularly. Booking was easily done online. I truly looked forward to coming home everyday to the "Lily Times" note from the walker - Whenever the walker comes by they leave a cute little note detailing what happened on the walk - I enjoyed seeing which walker walked lily that day and depending on the walker you'd get something super hilarious and cute (à la Tara, Sophie) or concise (Dylan, a man of few words haha). I'd even see a note from Scott the co-owner once in a while, which Lily loved (and you could tell Scott loved her too!). To be honest I thought the daycare space was a little cramped for the amount of dogs so I can see why they chose to leave that location for the Greenpoint one, I imagine that one must be bigger and I think they have a yard? They still provide dog walking services in the area though, and I wholeheartedly recommend YSP if you're looking for a dog walker. They really love your dog as if he/she is their own! read more

Love YSP for taking care of my dog while I'm out at work! When I first got a dog, the owner came over to meet us and discuss care. I loved coming back to a little recap of how their walk was and would definitely recommend using YSP for your dog walking needs! read more

I'm sad to report I'm very disappointed with my experience. We left our sweet Border Collie Mix with YSP for 7 days, and received only 2 updates. We've never left our dog with strangers before, so we were nervous going into it, but all the positive reviews were comforting. I was really hoping for more consistent updates, or even just one photo a day would have been nice. I'll start by saying that the Program Director was helpful and responsive to emails. With that being said, the in-person customer service was awful. When I came to pick up my dog, the woman working the counter didn't say a word to me. I said, "Hello, good morning" and she raised her eyebrows at me in response. I told her I was there for my dog, and she wordlessly went to get him. No ID check, didn't ask my name, nothing. She handed the leash over to me, and said nothing. This is unsettling to me because I could have been a complete stranger taking this dog. She didn't say a word about his stay or if he'd eaten yet that morning. I let her know I put a card on file, and she nodded. I said, "so that's it?" and she said, "yep." Not even a smile. According to the 2 report cards we received, he hadn't skipped any meals. This was unusual to me because our dog usually won't eat his food for 1-2 days if we leave. Upon picking him up, over half of his food supply I'd packed for him was still in his bag. We carefully measured out the exact amount he'd need for his stay, so to find so much food left was surprising. It was no longer sealed in the Ziplocs I'd brought, but instead was just rolling around in the bottom of his bag like it had been thrown in haphazardly. His harness had also been put on incorrectly. I hate writing bad reviews and always try to give the benefit of the doubt, but my overall impression was that the staff was unhappy to be there, and I was constantly wondering how my dog was doing. I know the owners are taking some time off, maybe things operate more smoothly when they're there and we came at a time when they were under-staffed. Unfortunately, I cannot say our experience was a positive one. read more

Great doggy daycare spot! Our pup Rosie is a social butterfly and has a blast at YSP. She literally never runs out of energy but comes home from daycare exhausted so it's a win win! They make sure all dogs that are accepted are friendly and up to date with vaccines/health so we don't have to worry about her while she's there. Super convenient location and affordable compared to other daycares we've looked into. Highly recommend! read more

Your Spoiled Pets - Totally wiped after a great day at daycare - Dog Walkers Near Me - Greenpoint Brooklyn, New York

We have been working with Your Spoiled Pets for dog walking for a few months now to help get our dog some extra exercise and remind him that other people walking him is sometimes OK. He's a bit of a princess and we have a ton of crazy last minute scheduling needs- YSP has been super understanding and awesome with our scheduling needs. The dog walkers are all really nice and patient with anxious or hyper dogs. My dog loves one of his walkers so much that he has to cuddle with her before she leaves! Would definitely recommend them and wish I lived closer so he could go to daycare there too! read more

Took the dog here for a day while I was working at the Brooklyn Expo Center. The day rate was great. I could tell that everyone there really cares about animals. They even indulge, without blinking, profoundly stupid questions like "did she behave/ how did she play/ did she make friends?" All dumb questions to ask about a dog, but they answer like you are talking about family, because you are. Very happy with paperless registration and billing. Everything about YSP was better than I hoped. read more

Puppy Love!!! From the start, Scott took extra time and care in helping us find the right person to walk our two sweet rescue's. Up until we found the right fit, he would bring his dog whispering skills personally to take them for walks. When we finally found the right person to take them on their daily walks, they simply added her to our pack. The boarding services are great, the email updates are greatly appreciated and have made for some great Instagram moments. Scott and the YSP team of animals lovers have always taken the best care of our doggies. We've just moved out of their service area, and we are sure going to miss them. Thank you for everything! I love YSP! I do freelance work so my schedule is crazy. Sometimes I'm off for a couple of months, and other times I need multiple walks a day. YSP is the best. My dog loves going there for daycare 2-3 days per week and occasional boarding. If we get within a few blocks of the place, he starts dragging me there (don't tell our trainer that I said that). The staff are professional and friendly. Convenient online booking system, very strict about vaccines. Although my dog is obviously the best dog ever, he can also be a bit special needs - but Scott, Greer, Taralyn and the team are always happy to accommodate us. Not sure what we would do if we didn't have Your Spoiled Pets. I'm very grateful to have it in the neighborhood. read more

Cat Sitting Client -- I've been using Your Spoiled Pets for about 18 months and they're great. I have one cat who is very shy and YSP has been very sensitive about keeping her company and coaxing her out when they can. They always make sure the temperature is ok (one time my heat was turned on while I was gone and it was sweltering so they made sure to lower the temp!) and give her any extras she might need - a few treats, some extra water, etc. My favorite thing is that they always send an email update after they've checked in and include a picture when they can. It's a nice way to know my cat is taken care of while I'm out :) read more

There is no other place that our dog would rather be than YSP. Can't recommend YSP boarding enough!! I have a pup with separation anxiety, and Scott and Greer really made him (and me!) feel at ease during his first boarding stay. I was really pleased that they do a temperament pre-screen and spent some 1-1 time with him beforehand to get him acquainted. And I LOVE that halfway through his stay, I got an adorable "report card" updating on how he was doing with lots of pics of him playing with the other pups. 10/10 recommend and will be boarding with them again! :) read more

I wouldn't take my dog for daycare anywhere else! He is always in the best mood after he leaves, and starts running when he knows we're close when I'm dropping him off.
