Oh what a happy accident! My boyfriend's blood sugar got low when we were walking near the water in Williamsburg and we walked in here to grab something to drink not even knowing what it was. Of course as two dog lovers, we could not believe our luck! We both got a coffee, quickly filled out the waiver, and spent about an hour and a half petting dogs and drinking our coffee. The only reason it's a 4 instead of 5 is because our coffee was just fine. But, the overall experience was absolutely superb. I will definitely be back soon. read more

We live near by and was very excited to check this place out! The staff is lovely!. The concept of the cafe is cool, come have a coffee and chill with the dogs. My concern is the number of dog allowed at one time, it is OVERWHELMING and possibly unsafe. Think of it more as a daycare to see dogs than a doggie cafe, with the number of dogs it was rough to enjoy the food component. Decent experience but won't be returning. read more

We were looking for a dog cafe to visit and Le Doggie Cool was recommended by a friend. We wanted to spend our weekend with fluffy companions, so we decided to stop by. The dog cafe is only open on the weekends and in order to access the patio a drink per person must be ordered. We got the honey lavender oat-milk latte and iced coffee, which both tasted great (honestly better than some other cafes I've been to!). Upon entering, we were greeted by so many dogs and spent about an hour here -- there is no time limit by the way. The staff were extremely friendly and knew how to take control of the situation if dogs got into a quarrel. The ambiance was upbeat and a bit chaotic because of the dogs running around, but it was very exciting! Definitely recommend to other dog lovers and will be back for some more fun. IMPORTANT! LE DOGGIE SPA EXPERIENCE IN WILLIAMSBURG, BK. Yesterday, 03/19, my husband and I brought our dog to Le Doggie Cool for a grooming appointment for the first time. Upon completion of the appointment, the groomer pointed out a rather large skin irritation that presented to be highly inflamed, bright red with little red dots, and warm to the touch, spanning about 8 inches along her side. We were shocked to see this considering it was not noticeable prior to her appointment, but we didn't want to jump to any conclusions. They advised us to consult with her daycare and vet, suggesting that it was a result of a food or medication allergy. After taking a closer look once we got home, we noticed the hair over the injured area felt noticeably thinner and rougher compared to the rest of her body, with the bright-red skin visible even from a distance. To cover all bases, we first confirmed with her daycare that she had not been fed anything during her stay, which aligned with our suspicions. She also exhibited no signs of distress between picking her up from daycare the previous evening, and dropping her off at Le Doggie Spa the next day. After consulting with our vet and providing photographs, he concurred that the condition was unlikely to be caused by a food or medication allergy. Typically, such allergies manifest with symptoms like loose stool, vomiting, or itching, rather than isolated patches of sudden redness. Furthermore, he suggested that the appearance of the injury resembled an abrasion, possibly caused by vigorous rubbing or forceful brushing. As of this morning, the redness has diffused and there are just little red dots left. Deshedding was a part of her grooming appointment, and it honestly looks like they used something abrasive with a lot of force resulting in ripping out hair and causing severe inflammation of the skin. Again, our vet has concurred with our analysis of the situation, especially since the skin has calmed so quickly without really doing anything different. While initially hesitant to assign blame without thorough investigation, the evidence overwhelmingly indicates that the damage to her skin & coat occurred during her grooming session. It is profoundly disappointing that no accountability was taken, and instead, attempts were made to deflect blame onto other factors. We have reached out to Le Doggie Cool via email to outline our findings after speaking with both the Daycare and Vet, and they still take no responsibility. Prioritizing self-preservation over integrity poses a significant risk to every pet entrusted to their care. I wouldn't wish this ordeal upon any animal or pet owner, and we consider ourselves fortunate that the harm inflicted wasn't more severe. I strongly advise anyone contemplating the utilization of their facilities or services to proceed with extreme caution. read more

A cute hang out spot on the weekends for your dog! This daycare has weekends open for people and their dogs to come and play as long as you bought a coffee or drink to enter. There were soooo many dogs, and my friend and i's dog had loads of fun. It was a bit overwhelming because of how many dogs there were, but the workers inside would entertain them with the hose and play around with them, monitoring them as well. I understand you guys are running a business here, but the noise is getting out of control. This morning, the same dog has been barking for a half hour, starting at 7:30 am. This happens almost every single week, ESPECIALLY on weekends. I've somehow been woken up by dogs barking at 6:30 am on a Sunday, before you're even technically open. I've called you guys before to ask politely to, at a bare minimum, operate within the law, which states: "DEP may take enforcement action if the noise can easily be heard from a residential address: For 10 minutes straight between the times 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM OR For 5 minutes straight between the times 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM" You break this almost every week. You stick 30-40 dogs in the backyard of a residential area and when they start barking, your employees start yelling at them to stop, bang on a window/metal pan, creating more noise, or do absolutely nothing at all. So PLEASE be more conscious of this. Again, I understand this is part of the nature of running a dog daycare, but how you guys operate this is disrespectful to the neighborhood. Please find a way to make this better for everyone. read more

I live above this place and can see into the backyard. They let groups of 10+ of the dogs run around, unsupervised, at all hours of the day. As a result, the dogs bark non-stop (I have time stamped videos of 20 mins+ at a time). Sometimes the dogs whimper or cry non-stop, asking to be let in or scared of the other dogs they are playing with. All the supervisor does is occasionally run out and say "hey" which shuts them up for a minute or two. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. They are not treated well. read more

I took my dog to the groomer there and was charged an extra fee for my dogs "bad behavior". I was very suprised because my dog has NEVER misbehaved while being groomed. Later when I came home I saw her bleeding in two different spots... They had cut her and didn't even mention it to me. That's probably why she was aggressive. I emailed them directtly before posting this, to address this situation, but they never responded. Oh, and I payed $200 for that. read more

cute dogs and cute vibe, treats for dogs are a little pricey but theres no time limit to be with the dogs so its worth it, would be nice if they had a few dog toys. staff is really friendly. its relatively clean for a place with dogs. haven't tried the food but i'm guessing its good since the doggie treats are gourmet. read more

I thought I'd give them a second chance with their pet grooming services since my usual place (PUPS Pet Club) is booked up. Boy, am I regretting it! Once the staff realized I spoke Spanish, they were really nice, but the grooming services were terrible and obscenely overpriced. Will I go back? No! My dog looks terrible and is dizzy from whatever they sprayed on him. He's seems traumatized and barks out of nerves now. If you want better services, go with PUPS Pet Club and ask for Anne. read more

I am totally appaled by the attitude of the owners and their lack of respect for their clients or potential clients. despite the many unsettling reviews i've come across and first hand stories id heard at the dog park, i was still willing to give the place a shot after visiting it myself and speaking with Angel, a wonderful representative who was kind, accomodating, and answered all my questions. UNFORTUNATELY the good experience stopped there. after needing to call 3x to confirm my GROOMING appointment as their websit was down, voicemail box is full, and text response time is glacial -- i finally recieved confirmation and planned my day accordingly. The day of the appointment whilst i am in working meetings i recieve a text that they are "sorry for the inconvenience" but had to cancel. No explanation, just a few time slots that might work without any regard for the fact that they may have clients who have lives, jobs and other responsibilities and could not re organize simply because of their management issues. I agreed to reschedule and requested that i receive a $50 discount which was in line with the cancelation policy they require for customers. seems pretty logical - if you are going to charge customers $50 for needing to cancel or rescheudle, shouldn't you offer that back to your clients when you do so? Given the fact that i then had to incur a series of cancelatoin fees to reorganize my day to pick my dog up etc tec. i explained to the person on the phone that i incurred a series of knock on cancellation fees and was basically told after a series of robotic messages and offering a 10% discount and "pet massage" that the owner would not speak to me nor honor my request for $50 off. I explained i would still keep my appointment out of urgency but then speaking to the owner was crucial given how this was handled. I then recieved a text message that my dog should not come in for his confirmed rescheduled appointment. my review does not speak to the actual services given here but definitely says alot about management. the reviews about the grooming are very unsettling and i should have listneed to my instinct and LOOK ELSEWHERE. This is such a cute cafe! It is really good for if you want to come in and work. It is generally pretty quiet. The only noise you will hear is from the dogs. They come up right next to you behind the windows. During week days there are almost 50 dogs! the drinks are also very high quality. read more

Our dog has been coming here for daycare since she was 4 months old and she LOVES it! I mean the pull me down the street and through the door every morning kind of love. They have a HUGE outdoor space so the dogs aren't just cooped up indoors all day and in the summer they bring out a pool and a hose to help keep the pups cool. All the staff is super nice and friendly and you can tell they love dogs. I feel like my fur baby is well loved and taken care of, which means I can go through my day and not worry one bit about her. In the beginning, we would text back and forth with the handlers to check on her, and they were always quick to respond and helpful. We'll be trying boarding there in a few weeks. The concept is great and we need more of it in NY. Wish the patio were open everyday! The space is massive and includes both indoor, outdoor, and a pool. I had been going to Le Doggie Cool for a few months with my dog for both daycare and boarding. I picked him up last week from daycare and he was acting very lethargic, so I called to ensure he had been fed. I was told he had, and confirmed he was fed both lunch and dinner. A few days later I went to drop him off for daycare again and the woman and the front desk told me I didn't need to drop off his food since "there was already a full unopened pack of his food in the fridge"...meaning when I called days before about his meals not only was he not fed, but I was directly lied to. When you can't rely on staff to feed your dog meals it's definitely a problem. Super disappointed since this is such a cute place. read more

We love Le Doggie! Our friends live in the neighborhood and take their dog here for daycare. We came for the first time for their Halloween party and our puppy had so much fun! After I had to return to work three days a week, we searched high and low for a daycare near us in BedStuy and the options out there were scary to say the least. Finally decided to give it a go and drive him to Williamsburg every morning on my way into work in the city, and I could not be happier. I feel so secure that he's safe and happy all day. I don't even worry or think about it! The people there are incredible, love him and know him by name. The facility has an outdoor area, is clean and so sweet and you can tell they just love all the dogs. They're the best!! read more

Pure chaos. I wanted to love this place so badly however the owners and staff are completely irresponsible, bringing in 40+ dogs at one time with big and little dogs not separated. The second a new dog enters, it gets swarmed by the pack. I had to stop bringing my dog here after she showed extreme signs of stress (wouldnt step near the entrance) and aggression, timidness outside of daycare to other dogs.
