Jennifer is so great. She really helped my rescue pup Storm feel at ease on his walks when we first got him, and when he was just beginning to get used to city life. I always knew he was in good hands. Sadly, we have since left the neighborhood but I would highly recommend Pet Sitting Pod to anyone in need of a sitter or walker for their furry friends. read more

Jennifer cared for my beloved cat "lil girl" for 10 years when I would go away for work or trips. She followed us through 6 NYC apartments along the way and became an extended member of our family. Sadly, lil girl passed last year at the age of 21 (yes 21!). What a life lil girl lived and it was absolutely enriched by Jennifer's love and care. Forever grateful. read more

I ( and Spike) are so grateful to have met Jennifer. I don't live in NY full time and she's able to work with my inconsistent and freelance schedule. More importantly, she's so good with Spike who is 18 and blind and deaf. She truly treats him like her own. Jennifer is reliable and responsive. And I love seeing her IG posts throughout the day. read more

The best. What can I say. Jennifer loved our fur baby like he was her own and he loved spending time with her. She went above and beyond to help us care for him when he was sick. Absolutely the greatest and so great to work with. read more

We've stalked Jennifer walking out neighbors' dog and finally got in touch for her to walk our little monster. Jennifer was so patient with our English bully, who did not like to walk. She even brought got the neighbors' dog to walk with our petulant bully. Thanks Jennifer for being reliable, even on short notices, and ever patient. read more

I have so many amazing things to say about Jennifer I don't know where to begin. First and foremost, she cares so deeply about animals. She goes above and beyond when caring for them. When my cat got sick, she did everything she possibly could to help and I will be eternally grateful that she was so caring towards both of us. There isn't a person I trust more with my pets. Jennifer also has a wealth of knowledge and so I often went to her for advice. Jennifer is also extremely reliable - when I was away I never had to worry about my cat once. Highly highly highly recommend!!!! read more

My pups love Jenn! She's super flexible but also very trustworthy and accountable. The perfect pet sitter and walker!

We have used jennifer for over a year now and she has been a lifesaver. She is incredibly reliable ( has never had to cancel!) and very available. She takes care of my dog like he is her own. She posts pictures on her instagram so I can keep track of my pup during walks. She is super knowledgeable when it comes to healthcare and training. I cannot recommend her enough. We are so lucky to have found jennifer. read more

Jennifer has been a lifesaver and wonderful to my, at times, somewhat (very) difficult Rufus. She has the utmost patience and ability to understand the needs and idiosyncrasies of different pets. She is a true animal lover and will care for the well being of your precious loved ones. I particularly appreciated Jennifer's updates before and after each walk as well as her adorable posts on her IG page. I am sad to have left the city in June during this incredibly unstable environment. We truly miss having Jen as our dog walker, she is a gem! read more

Just wanted to update that after a short stint out of the service area I've returned, and Jennifer is still the best out there! My cat loves her so much and when Jennifer comes by for the keys I can tell my cat is excited to see her. The daily pics have turned into a full on IG account so now in addition to seeing my fuzzy lady I get to see all the adorable neighborhood pets as well. She's also incredibly trustworthy and reliable. I'm so happy she's still servicing the LES/EV area and I will probably base any further moving decisions on staying where Jennifer can watch my kitty. read more

Update: Jennifer has now been taking care of our dog for SIX YEARS! We love her and our dog does, too! She takes the very best care to ensure our dog's happiness, health and safety, and we love her adorable daily Instagram posts of our dog (and seeing all the other dogs and cats, too). We are so lucky to have Jennifer! read more

Jennifer is FABULOUS! It was such a relief finding her when I moved to NYC. My little Remi is always hesitant around strangers, but she warmed up very quickly to Jennifer. Jennifer was patient with her, and they quickly formed a bond. She even brings her own special treats, which Remi goes crazy for. Jennifer is truly dependable - she always shows up on time, is always full of energy, and I always know that Remi is having a great time (evidenced by her Instagram photos!). I truly can't recommend her enough - she's been a lifesaver. Thank you Jennifer! read more

Jennifer has been walking my dog for about 5 years now. I know with Jennifer that I have someone trustworthy who loves my dog, taking her on her daily walks. She even posts a daily pic when she comes to walk Olive! She also is quick to respond to emails, and last minute requests. We are moving out of her area, and devastated to lose such a loving, responsible caretaker for my dog! read more

I've worked with Jennifer for several years now to care for my two kitties. She is fantastic! She is extremely responsive and always does a great job caring for my cats. She has some training in animal care above the average pet sitter, which I found very reassuring when I was out of town. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional pet sitter / cat care / dog walker. Her rates are competitive and fair and my kitties adored her (the most important criteria). read more

I honestly can't say enough about Jennifer. She is reliable, responsible, hard working, and totally trustworthy. Giving someone the keys to your apartment while you're away is never the easiest thing to do. But with Jennifer I never have to think twice about it. She comes in and takes incredibly good care of our two cats, Mooka and Tinkerbell. Communicating with Jennifer is fast and easy, which is always a relief while we're away. And our notoriously anti-social kitties absolutely LOVE her. She always has a treat or a new toy to offer. There are lots of pet sitting services in NYC, I know because we've tried many of them. But no one offers the personal service that Jennifer does. read more

Jennifer was my first dog walker after moving to the LES from Ohio. She used to work at a vet and now walks dogs full time and does an amazing job. The first time she showed up she had treats for him and picked up the keys to the apartment. I used her about once to twice weekly, when I had to work longer shifts at the hospital, and I ju us emailed her the Sunday before to tell her when I needed her to stop by. Her prices are reasonable, and she does both solo and group walks, with instagram updates of your pup for those that follow her (I don't normally have one but made one to follow her). She never missed a single appointment over the year she worked with us, despite me waiting until Monday morning sometimes to email her. Summary: incredibly competent and reliable dog walker for both single and group walks, fairly priced and professional. read more

Jennifer has been great! I've needed to travel several times since I moved back to this neighborhood, and having such a reliable sitter has been a huge load off my mind. She sends pictures and a quick status report with every visit so I know my cat is doing well. My cat seems to love her - normally when I get back from a trip, he's extremely clingy, practically out of his mind, but he's been way calmer after visits from Jennifer. Additionally, she went out of her way to be extra sweet with brushing him - she got almost enough hair off him one day to make another cat. Her medical experience is another huge bonus. My extremely handsome cat needs a daily pill, and Jennifer has no problem pilling him - she doesn't even charge extra for a "medical visit". read more

Jen just has a way with animals. They love her. My cat was older and needed a daily pill and she handled his fussiness perfectly. He adored her. I can't recommend Pet Sitting Pod enough. She's the only pet sitting service I will use as leaving a pet with Jen is like leaving it with family. read more

Jennifer is a wonderful pet sitter! Beyond that, she is an actual wizard and cat whisperer. We adopted our cat and were kind of at the end of our rope with him--he's a biter. We hired Jennifer to care for him when we went on vacation. We told her what the deal was, and not only did she do a perfect job taking care of him, she sorted him out and solved the biting! (She told us to play with him a lot more and recommended specific toys.) Now we joke that the cat looks forward to our vacations so he can see Jennifer (which actually true and not really a joke). read more

We procrastinated and needed a pet sitter for the holidays and I contacted Jennifer after I read all these other great reviews. They weren't kidding! She's great! I love that she has an Instagram account for the pets. Not only do I get pictures of my cats, but I can see other adorable pets too! We will definitely use Jennifer's services again next time we head out of town! read more

Jennifer is the best. She's been walking Max since I moved to the LES 3 years ago, and I am so happy I found her! She is wonderful with animals, and consistently goes above and beyond whenever I need her, without even being asked. From leaving treats every once in a while, to bringing him pee pads for his crate when he was having stomach issues and I was stuck at work, or eye drops when he had gunky eyes. Its clear she cares so much for all the animals she looks after, and she knows her stuff. She is also consistently patient with me when I have last minute requests. I couldn't ask for a better walker! read more

Jennifer is the BEST. Prompt replies, attentive updates about anything weird she might experience / see with my pup - she is very knowledgeable and provides helpful guidance when she thinks it could be useful! She posts photos of her walks and it's so nice to be able to confirm that our pup gets the fresh air and attention he deserves. Thank you Jennifer!! read more

This review is way overdue! Jennifer has been walking our boxer mix for over a year-and-a-half, since he was 10 months old, and we are so thankful for her! Our pup adores her, and she is friendly, helpful, reliable, and accommodating. We love that he gets her individualized attention and either walks solo or with his lab mix friend rather than with a huge pack. Jennifer has always been very professional and communicative--she is quick to respond if we have a last-minute request and lets us know about anything important that happened on a walk. As crazy dog parents, we of course also love the photo updates :). Jennifer is the best! read more

Jennifer is amazing with pets and super professional! She sends the cutest photos too. Sad I can't use her service for my kitty anymore since we moved to Brooklyn. read more

Jennifer is absolutely a sweetheart. Despite having contacted her so last minute during the holiday season, she squeezed my dear Kayla into her schedule after hearing that my lady is 18 years old. For the past 4-5 years since I adopted Kayla, I never took a vacation in fear of leaving her alone. She's an old love bird that is grumpy, sometimes bitchy, has lots of picky needs when it comes to her feeding times etc. Jennifer dealt with it all - and by all, I mean not only Kayla's needs, but also mine (calming my nerves and dealing with my obsessive and paranoiac whining and dictations). She changed Kayla's two water bowls every single visit. She somehow managed to get Kayla to agree to petting sessions, which is so rare unless it is me! She was so kind to email me a few updates in the beginning, with recommendations as well. She was clearly vested in my Kayla's well being on a personal level. Thank you once again Jennifer, and I now live a bit more peacefully every day, knowing that I have someone trustworthy to take care of my Kayla should the need rise!! Maybe I'll even take a vacation this winter!!? read more

Not only is PSP the best dog walker/sitter service we have found in Manhattan, it is perhaps the best overall customer service experience I can remember in recent years. Jennifer is responsible, communicative, creative, friendly and caring. Our dogs are spoiled and needy and were basically a disaster when we first handed them over to Jennifer for a few weeks. Just days later they were back to normal and had fallen big for Jennifer. Both dogs have special needs and it was an amazing comfort to know that Jennifer not only takes care of dogs but knows dogs and has a background in veterinary care. She's like a vet and a dog sitter wrapped in one with good business and customer sense sprinkled on top. The Instagram thing just made my day without fail. I found Jennifer thanks to Yelp reviews and am so thankful for everyone else who steered me in her direction that I am writing my first and only Yelp review to help others as well. Can't think of anyone who deserves it more. read more

Jennifer has been walking our puppy since we first adopted her back in June and we absolutely love her. She is incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and reliable. She keeps an Instagram account so you can see your pets during her walks, which we really love - not to mention, she somehow takes the best photos you'll ever see of your pet. The only dog walker we would ever use in this area. read more

Jennifer has been watching my two cats for several years when I travel, and I couldn't be happier with her service. She is friendly, communicative, and reliable. She has gone above and beyond in multiple instances, such as cleaning up the broken glass when my cat knocked down a picture frame. I love receiving her email check-ins with photos while I'm gone, and always know that my cats are in great hands. read more

I have used Jennifer with Pet Sitting Pod many times throughout the last year. Jennifer is extremely professional, trustworthy, and the perfect petsitter. We have 2 cats (one of whom is usually very shy) and she was able to make them feel very comfortable (as well as us) every time we have been out of town. Pictures are posted with every visit and she is extremely responsive with email and well organized. 5 stars without a doubt. read more

Excellent service and very reliable! Jennifer has looked after our cat twice now for a week at a time over the past few months. It's great that she spends time with him and when we return he's happy and healthy. She is genuinely engaged and ensures that everything is in place and covered. The instagram acct updated daily is a huge plus, and she's in touch via email. Particularly impressed with her responsiveness the first time we reached out to her when we found ourselves trying to line up someone to watch the cat with only a few hours notice. Will definitely be using in the future. Thanks! read more

Jenn is the best of the best of the best. She's so trustworthy and my dog LOVES her. She was always on time and so easy to schedule with. I always felt comfortable leaving my dog with her. She would always give me updates and post on Instagram so I could see what fun they were having. Couldn't recommend a better dog walker! We love her! read more

Jennifer has been looking after my cat, Minka, since soon after I adopted her July 2015. Jennifer's customer service is only eclipsed by the outstanding care she provides to Minka when I am away. Jennifer's system of providing daily updates/pictures is super, and it's awesome to be able to see what my small criminal is up to while I am away. Jennifer is always super responsive to any requests and flexible with schedules changes. I have absolutely no concerns in entrusting both my home, and more importantly, Minka's care to Jennifer. read more

I don't want to ever use anyone else. Jennifer is amazing - I feel utterly secure knowing that she has the keys to my apartment and is watching my cats whenever I am away. One of my cats Arlo is a rescue from the streets, who endured a great deal of trauma including we believe at the hands of humans. He is very shy and does not bond easily with others. Jennifer won him over in short order. Now instead of thinking of him cowering and frightened when I am away, I know he feels loved and cared for in my absence by someone he trusts. She has the kind of vibe and energy that puts both humans and non-humans at ease! Ahhh. She is utterly dependable, kind, intuitive, and I know that should any medical issues come up in my absence, she will use good judgment and her excellent vet asst background to make sure my cats are well cared for. That is especially comforting given that my other cat Spike is nearly 14 years old! I am so happy to have found such a great pet sitter here in this big city, and I would recommend her without hesitation for the care of your own beloved pets. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Jennifer at PetSittingPod this past week. My husband and I turned to her after we had already left town when other arrangements we made for our two cats fell through. Jennifer was great and jumped right in and checked in on our two cats everyday while we were gone. She has an Instagram feed where she posts daily pictures which were quite a treat. The best is that she has experience in veterinary care which is great because one of our cats takes two pills a day for a thyroid condition and cab be a bit difficult. In addition to giving the pills and generally taking care of the cats, she sent email updates periodically if she noticed anything out of sorts (e.g. when our cats were not eating much of their wet food). That was really above and beyond and much appreciated. Her rates are very reasonable and we'll definitely be using her services again in the future. read more
