Wow, where do I begin. We started using Swifto before the pandemic, and right out of the gates they were 10x better than any other service we used previously. The communication, quality of care, flexibility to our needs, etc. were all off the charts. It's been like that for going on 5 years, even in some of the most challenging times. We are hybrid work from home now, and we keep our regular scheduled walks in part because our pup absolutely adores her walker Carissa (and we do too!). She provides the most fulsome pupdates while we are away and it gives us so much comfort knowing our pup is always happy, healthy and taken care of with her. Then we got a walker with a lot of experience who was very passionate about the care and needs of our dog. They would not tell us why that walker is no longer available to walk our beloved dog. I have used Swifto for around 2 years and all of the walkers at Swifto are just amazing and go above and beyond. Just one example is that for months of me healing from a severe injury they would do things like bring up packages, get me water and pickup around my apartment before they took Daisy out. They are all very kind and great with dogs but also with humans which is a nice perk. They also are accommodating with last minute walk requests, 9/10 times they can make it happen. They are also better than I am at suiting dogs up in weather gear (booties, coats, etc) which is helpful. Best dogwalking service I have used. I would highly recommend Swifto to pet parents. I am the founder of a large NYC Animal Rescue, so I am in the animal business myself. Swifto was really great, and they walked my dogs for a year, before I moved from the area. We had an excellent steady walker with them for about 6 months. She was so attentive to my babies needs, and was super reliable and professional. One of my dogs is also pretty challenging ( she has intense leash aggression) and requires to wear a muzzle for safely reasons. I've been using Swifto for my foster dogs for a couple years. I've used several walkers and all have been great. Most recently I've stuck with one, Suzannah, and I've really liked her. She communicates well, letting me know how the walks went and answers any questions I have (like, what the poo looks like :) . We had a wonderful experience with our Swifto walker Tim, who walked our dog Crash almost every day for the past two years. Tim was extremely communicative, caring, and reliable. He showed interest in Crash and treated him with affection (even though Crash is sometimes difficult to deal with). Over the years, Tim would always alert us if anything seemed "off" with Crash and would consistently provide detailed (and beautifully written I might add) summaries of what happened on their walks together. Tim's summaries, accompanied by adorable photos, truly made our day while we were away from Crash and in the office. We trusted Tim with Crash so much that we debated not moving from our current neighborhood so that we could keep him as our walker! I was reading reviews and Jason's review here below describes exactly what happened to me. I had left a positive review as I was asked to do it, but now it's time to leave a proper one after I have used the service for few months. Main points of concern: 1. Walker asked after few days of service to write a review for him so he would get a bonus. As soon as I wrote the review the quality of the service went down the drain. 2. Turnover is terrible. I saw 6/7 walkers in a two-month time frame. 3. GPS sometimes doesn't work, and when it does some of the walkers stated fake times. One time the walker went out for 6 minutes and reported he was out for more than 30 mins. Dropcam doesn't lie... luckily. 4. Walkers are not trained and many of them are young students who use Swifto as a side job to earn some money. read more

We found out about Swifto after taking Fiona our Frenchie to the Dog Park. They were handing out free walks, and we were intrigued by the fact that they have a GPS tracking during the walks. I'm glad we tried them out because it's so worth it! They have a great system of payment, where it is basically automatic but you can alert any changes when they follow up before the month that they charge. Also, they send texts and pics of your dog during the walk. So communicative and great! Specifically, our dog walker, Maurice is amazing! Fiona loves him, and we appreciate how much he keeps us updated on his status when heading over to get her, as well as how things are going during the walk. I highly recommend Swifto. This has been great. My wife didn't move here with me at first and I work 12 hour shifts. I needed someone during very specific times, and I have a dog that has a lot of special needs due to a spinal surgery. They provided me with a dog walker, Rafael, who has exceeded all of my expectations. He truly cares about Lucy. He sends me pictures and follows my instructions to the T. I love Swifto. 5 Stars all the way. I moved to the city in July and didn't know my work schedule immediately. They scheduled me a dog walk immediately. We had a meet and greet beforehand to be sure my dog would behave for the walker. My dog fell in love immediately. They worked around my schedule really well too. I work the overnight shift so it was nice to find a company that could take my dog out after 8pm. Swifto also uses technology to ease to mind about the dog walks. They text message when they come by and leave the house. They also send photos of your dog to prove they were there. i could make a photo album of the adorable picts I've gotten from them. Then you can use your smart phone to track the walks through GPS. What really earns them the 5 stars is that they go above and beyond with there customer service and dog care. They have never walked my dogs for less time then scheduled. It's always longer and sometimes much longer with no extra charge. They don't just come in and out, they take care and greet the dog and truely care about there well being. I absolutely recommend Swifto services for piece of mind and convenience. An email about their new policies (yay, no more different prices for sporadic walking!) reminded me that I've been meaning to review these guys for some time. I have a regular dog walker, but my job hours can sometimes be unpredictable so when I need someone to feed my dog and walk him in the evening short notice, Swifto is my go-to. No matter how short notice I've needed them, they've always come through. We communicate mostly in text, but the people on the administrative end are always so wonderful and professional. I have had several of their walkers walk my dog, but my favorite is Katherine. I haven't met her in person, but she's very sweet! Certain features they use are also very reassuring, especially if you're a nervous parent like me. Each walker has a profile so you can learn all about them after they're assigned, you're notified by text when the walk begins, you're notified when your dog defecates (especially helpful when you have a brat like mine), and you get to see through the GPS tracking where they went afterward. I recently moved to NYC and needed to find a dog walker due to long hours at work and weekends away. Swifto caught my interest with GPS tracked maps and text updates with pictures. They have been walking my dog for almost 2 months now and my dog loves his walker and I trust him completely. He is very patient with my dog who isn't always the best behaved. The walkers are available with little notice and were very accommodating when I had to leave town suddenly with no warning for a week. My dog is walked alone for only $30/hour with no extra charges on weekends or holidays and a 5 day/wk commitment to get those rates is not required. If you buy packages they are even cheaper. When I go out of town I book two 1 hr long walks each day for $60 which is cheaper than a dog sitter. My dog is fed, watered, and given his medications after each walk. I've been using Swifto now for over 3 years, and I have to say both me and my dog absolutely love them! Lucy's walker is just so loving and caring, I would have never imagined that it would be possible to form such a bond. I also really love the detailed updates I get at the end of the walk, and the poop notifications of Lucy crack me up every time. Customer service is impeccable, and Jo/Amanda/Alicia are super responsive and helpful with any question I have. Their billing is automatic too which makes everything easier, and when Lucy's walker is on vacation, they actually provide a meeting with the replacement walker. I found a groupon for Swifto. It was fast and easy to set up the 'Meet and Greet' with the walker. The match they selected for my dog was perfect! Being a bully breed and having some minor leash issues Matt H. is a great candidate handle the job! Matt H. sends me the greatest updates about how Pocket was on the walk! He always puts on Pocket's coat when it is cold out. The text alerts are great for at work so you know when your dog was taken out and brought back home. My partner and I have been using Swifto since early 2017 after we got our first dog Winston and had a negative experience with Wag actually. I like the app feature and how you could track your walks as well as your little report card text summary after each walk. If there was ever an issue during the walk, walkers were always communicative with us and the main office. We've had several walkers at our old apartment in Manhattan and we moved to queens where they also serviced! In queens we've only dealt with four different walker and we got a second dog! Our last walker Was amazing. We stopped using a walker at the start of COVID since were always home but we will definitely use them again once thing change or if we need someone to look after the boys while we're out. It's very easy to book walks online or on their app, and I love the GPS tracking as well as text message alerts. It's so great getting a little recap of the walk along with a picture! Since I'm a periodic client, not regular, I've had a handful of walkers for my dog (whoever is available). There has never been a bad experience - all of them are great. What's really nice is that they offer late night, weekend, and holiday walks at no extra charge. I love Swifto! Doruk, our walker, always goes above and beyond for our little guy J.B. - everything from giving him a Kong we'll leave in the freezer to cleaning his paws when it's muddy out. He will even bring in packages left for us too, which is just a nice touch. Scheduling from the app is great and super easy (because who wants to pick up the phone these days), and I love the daily photos and personalized messages. I really like the fact that I was able to meet every dog walker. It's a small thing but makes me trust them much more. The biggest thing I get from Swifto is peace of mind because I know who is walking my dog and where they are going. All of these updates about my dog are sent straight to my cell at work. So happy I found Swifto! I heard about Swifto through a friend about a month ago and I called them up for some prices and they arranged for a meet & greet for the following day and set me up with a free dog walk right away. Luckily they made an exception for me as I'm in Queens and not Manhattan. My walker, Tatiana, is great. I have a rescue dog and she can be very difficult with new people, but took to Tatiana IMMEDIATELY. During the free meet & greet, my dog, Roxy, interacted with Tatiana and was instantly comfortable. I also love the alerts I get every day. I get a text when Tatiana picks up Roxy and I get the cutest pictures sent to my e-mail of Roxy on the walk with her. She always looks so happy! I can even log in on the site and check that she's taking her to the park I requested, which she always does. Tatiana really cares about Roxy and Roxy is very comfortable and happy with her. I've had to add late evening walks a few times and they always pair me up with an equally experienced walker who takes out Roxy, even last minute. Overall, two thumbs up!
