Pawfect day cared for our dog, and our grand-dogs too. As the dogs age they are attentive to their changing needs, and are always reliable and communicative. We used their dog walking and dog sitting services on many occasions. Recommend without reservation. read more

My cats love their sitter and it's clear she loves them too. I've used this service multiple times with great results. Easy to schedule. Great communication. Reasonable price. I'm booking them again and you should too read more

I am extremely disappointed with my most recent experience with Pawfect Day pet sitting. We were charged a rush fee even though we had being going back and forth trying to get ahold of each other for two or three days. The owner told the sitter to come Saturday/Sunday instead of Sunday/Monday - so a few hours after we left, the sitter came and gave them more food when we had only left enough wet food to last until we came home on Monday. We have a home security camera that sends us notifications whenever a person is detected. We decided to check in to see how the cats were doing with the sitter. What we saw was unprofessional and disappointing. Both days we have footage of her standing around on her phone and texting for thirty straight minutes. Not once does she attempt to play with the cats or pay any attention to them (they are both affectionate and need attention). It's actually absurd that someone can look at their phone for so long without looking up once. Jacqueline tried to tell us it was because she was using the Caregiver App for a few minutes but I have the footage showing she was texting the whole time. We thought we were paying for play time - if we just wanted them fed, we would've asked our neighbors to drop by. I will not be trusting Pawfect Day in the future for pet care. I will say that Jacqueline was prompt in writing us back - however, the damage had already been done & $80 was wasted. read more

Jacqueline was wonderful to have on my wedding day to take care of my dog/ring bearer! She was so easy to coordinate with, and answered all of my logistical questions before the big day. Their prices are great, especially compared to some other wedding dog attendant services. On the wedding day, she came prepared with treats and was perfect about handling my dog during the ceremony and cocktail hour. I would recommend Pawfect Day to everyone! read more

Our little guy spent a whole weekend at Pawfect Day. It was the longest we've ever left him with anyone outside of our family but from all the pictures and videos she shared with us, he had a BLAST. I highly recommend Pawfect Day!!! read more

Pawfect Day is amazing. They've been taking care of my two pet rabbits for three years now and I'm always so pleased. Scheduling is easy, the pet sitters come on time, they send me an email with pictures updating me on how my bunnies are doing, they're trustworthy, and they seem to genuinely love animals. They truly go above and beyond. There was one time my friend was house/pet sitting for me and she got locked out, and I called Pawfect Day in a panic. I was in another country and my furbabies needed to be fed! We scheduled a rush appointment for a couple hours later, and the wonderful pet sitter Valerie met up with my friend to let my friend into my apartment so the rabbits could get fed. I highly recommend Pawfect Day for pet care, which includes caring for exotic pets, which is hard to find! read more

BUYER BEWARE! If I could rate zero stars I would. I will preface this by saying I looked the other way but their sitters lie about going each day to visit your cat and take batch photos to send even when they haven't visited. They are also late to send updates sometimes not sending one per day at all! Despite this, after being a loyal customer for years they changed their policies, and began sending hostile emails after my last attempt to book a week in advance. After jumping through hoops to get my landlord to approve the copying of rfid keys (they claimed to make an exception last time, but could no longer...ok) they randomly unhooked my services A DAY BEFORE I WAS SCHEDULED TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY. Also be aware they aren't able to be reached in urgent cases bc they have virtual assistants that aren't even in the state of New York. The owner Jacqueline is very, very rude and only communicates via email and doesn't return calls or attempts to reach her etc. she also has a very petulant attitude for literally no reason. There are better options in the city with companies who actually use sitters in your area...I'd recommend avoiding this company. Kitty in NY ended up being a much better fit and even though I was sad to switch things up on my elderly cat I'm glad I did bc he's in better hands. But seriously anyone is better than pawfect so buyer beware! Update: I would NEVER lie about a cat sitter not visiting and I've noticed over the course of years that the sitter would be very late with updates or not send them until I reached out worried. I don't have specific dates bc this is something that's happened over the course of years, but it's definitely a thing with this business. Also other reviewers are completely accurate when they say this place is disorganized and not flexible at all regarding their key policy. I went out of my way to beg my landlord for permission to copy a key that isn't supposed to be copied ever, only to have Jacqueline cancel my slot at the last minute with no remorse and a highly petulant and passive aggressive attitude. And so on point what someone said about them charging to charge rush fees when in reality they spend so much time going back and forth via email for days that it's technically not your fault if anything ends up being rushed. read more

This is the second time we have used Pawfect Day and once again a job well done. Our caretaker was Amy who took care of our cat Samantha. Amy is sweet, caring and we will request her whenever we need care for Samantha. As usual, Jacqueline was easy to work with and responsive.... read more

Jacqueline did an amazing job picking up and dropping off my pup for my wedding. She arrived promptly, sent us updates at the end of the night, and dropped her off the next day. Chili had a great time, and we were able to rest easy knowing she was in great hands. Can't recommend this service enough!!! read more

We have used Pawfect Day for several periods that took us out of town, and a few other times we needed extra help. They've always been kind, prompt, provided good care and good feedback. The best pet sitting service we've used for our 3 cats & 1 dog. read more

I leave my fur babies home exactly once a year, and Pawfect Day has been my trusted resource to ensure my cats are not only fed but loved while I'm away. The pictures I get from the sitters are the highlight of my day while away, and show that these sitters take the time to actually Care for your animal- one of my babies is very, very shy, and yet the sitters somehow got belly rubs out of her! Wouldn't trust any other service in NYC to provide such care (maybe not even my friends). Will continue utilizing such a positive, caring company. read more

Pawfect Day - One of my cats, absolutely loving his sitter! - Pet Sitting Near Me - New York, New York

I recently moved to NYC for a new job. I knew that I would be traveling probably about twice a month, so finding a reliable cat sitter was one of the first items on my move-in todo list. I am very happy with Pawfect Day. I found the company through a Google search and read some positive reviews, so I reached out and asked if they serviced my neighborhood. Lucky for me they do! Jackie was very helpful in setting up an initial visit with one of the cat sitters. I've had about three different people visit my cat since I initially signed on, and all of them have been wonderful about keeping me in the loop when I'm traveling. I've gotten everything from text messages, to emails, pictures, and videos. All of this makes me feel better about leaving kitty home alone. Finally, I also love that I can support a small woman-owned business in my city that feels as strongly as I do about supporting animal rescue shelters. Bottom line: thanks for being awesome, Pawfect Day! read more

I'm a repeat happy client of Pawfect Day. My most recent experience went very smoothly, and my cat's sitter, Megan W., was terrific. She sent a detailed report every day with pictures, tided up my pet's eating and bathroom areas, and really took the time to make sure my shy cat was comfortable. He hid the first few visits but by the end of the week he was coming out for pets and playtime with Megan. It was a relief knowing he was in such good hands, and I'll absolutely use Pawfect Day again! read more

Jacqueline and her team were great! My boyfriend broke his leg the day before I was leaving for a week-long work trip. We began to desperately search for a local and trustworthy dog walker that could jump in and help with our daughter (boxer) Amelia. I called five different companies within 10 minutes and found that Pawfect was not only the most accommodating but also one of the most professional services to reply. Little details that go a long way. Jacqueline was fast to respond and set everything up to get started the following morning. We have Kristine as our walker and she came for a morning and afternoon walk. She was great with Amelia and always sent us pictures and updates immediately after each walk. Pawfect day helped us when we were in dire straits and we will definitely use their services again. read more

Not sure what the owner thinks she's achieving by adding the details from our correspondence. The correspondence only proves further that they had miscommunication on their end. That obviously pissed her off and ruffled some feathers. I can't fathom how any business runs with such poor organization, much less a business that enters your home and takes care of your pets. read more

Pawfect Day = Pawfectly wonderful! I was late in the game requesting a cat sitter over Memorial Day weekend and a good number of companies weren't servicing my area in Crown Heights. Jacqueline responded quickly to all my emails and set me up with Shoshana to watch my kitty Linus while I was on vacation. Shoshana was a wonderful cat sitter - very kind, kept the house clean, took better care of the plants than I do and made friends with Linus even after he scratched her like the moody jerk he is sometimes. Will be using this company moving forward! read more

I love Pawfect Day! Maria and Jacqueline are so reliable. I appreciate their communication and flexibility with my requests. I have a neurotic chihuahua and a BUNNY and I always feel like Pawfect does their best for my furry babies. Also, it can be difficult to find rabbit care in NYC, so I def appreciate their willingness to watch my bunny. read more

Pawfect Day was a lifesaver! We'd waited a bit long to book a cat sitter for the holidays, and were looking desperately the Sunday before Christmas. Jacqueline responded to us on a Sunday, processed our paperwork, and had us booked and ready to go before Monday. She asked a lot of questions, making sure the cat sitter would have all the information she needed. And then it got even better! Valerie, our sitter, went above and beyond to take care of our kitties. She emailed us a picture and update every day, all while magically charming her way into the hearts of our rather shy and grumpy cats. We were so happy to get updates while we were away, knowing our cats were in good hands. The site is also great. You get to create an account, add details about your pets and pet care, and update it any time. Really simple and easy. It's been a pleasure working with Pawfect Day! read more

I am LOVING my dog walker (Valerie) and the amazing, attentive customer service I receive from Jacqueline. I get constant updates & reminders & it is so helpful. We were last minute dog-walker hunting & came across Pawfect Day online. I was very, very nervous having never had a dog before & not knowing what to expect. We met Valerie within 2 days of contacting Jacqueline & she started that next Monday. If that's not efficiency, I don't know what is! My pup seems super happy & well-taken care of. I highly recommend Pawfect Day!! read more

Pawfect has taken excellent care of my cat for several years. Whenever I travel, their caring and capable sitters come in every day to feed, scoop litter and play with her. They email me photos and updates during every visit. It's an excellent service and well run by the female founder, Jacqueline. read more

Pawfect Day has been excellent. We have used them on several occasions to take care of our cat while we are out of town. They have always been quick to get back to us with communication. The visits are on time, and they always send a few pictures of the cat so we know she's doing well! read more

Pawfect Day has done a great job of taking care of my two cats. We've used them for countless visits, sometimes over a week at a time. They are very prompt in sending pictures and updates of the animals during the week. We've had a few different cat sitters, and each one has been great. The online booking system works pretty well, albeit it's slightly clunky. Overall they are a great business! read more

THE WORSE!!! STOLE MY MONEY, BAD COMMUNICATION . Jacqueline, the owner, charged me for after business hours, charged me for the service that was supposed to start the following day at 9AM, and right after she charged my card, she left the office, without providing me any details about the address, time, direct contact with the caregiver I'm supposed to drop off my pup in the morning. She just left abruptly with a very confusing email before we completed all the details! She did not even bother to read the emails I sent, on the same thread!!! The following morning she ridiculously claimed it is my fault, and that I should have written "emergency" in the subject and asked for the address. SHE STILL HAS MY MONEY AND COMPLETELY DROPPED THE BALL ON ME LAST MINUTE. IRRESPONSIBLE!!!!!!! read more

I used this service multiple times over many months and without exception it was always an excellent service! Jacqueline is very responsive and it is very easy to schedule pet visits even with minimal days notice. The person who took care of my cat always sent me daily updates about my cat with photos and videos included. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my pet in their hands and definitely recommend this service. Definitely 5 stars :) read more

Unfortunately we need to update our review. We thought we had open trust by leaving our dog and home to our sitter for an overnight visit but dishonesty and lack of information and explanation still leaves us concerned. We will no longer be using this service in the future. read more

This is my first time I contacted Pawfect day for holiday vacations. The took great care of my budgies. They really exceeded my expectations. The sitter is always updating you about your pets and makes you feel relaxed. She was very passionate about taking care and playing with the little ones . Excellent, superb service. Jacqueline's team is incredible. We have used them 3 times and each was flawless! I loved our care specialist, Ellie who we have had both the past two times. My wife and I used Pawfect Day from when our Frenchie was just a puppy. Jackie was always very responsive to our questions and concerns, and our walker Grace was terrific. From his days as a puppy, before he could even go outside, we were always comforted by knowing he'd be given great care. We would highly recommend Pawfect Day for anyone who wants the utmost care for their dog. read more

Pawfect Day has been great -- reliable and very easy to schedule, much more so than other services I've used in other cities. We were a little nervous about how soon after moving here that we needed a catsitter (for a full two weeks, even), but we were very happy with the service. We'll definitely continue working with Pawfect Day when traveling. read more

Absolutely love their service. Been using it for a few years now and they always exceed my expectations. Highly recommended, doesn't matter if it's just for a few minutes or if they're taking care of your pet for many days. read more

Jacqueline was amazing, I needed a last minute walker for 5 hours on a saturday night, and she worked very hard to make it happen. Her communication was exceptional, she responded right away to all my inquiries and made me feel like I was her only customer. Her sitter txt'd me after with a rundown also. I would 100pct reccommend Pawfect Day!! read more

We used Pawfect Day while living in the city. Jacqueline was AMAZING. We are last minute people by nature and would always email her at the 11th hour asking for a walk or a sit. She ALWAYS accommodated our requests. Grace was our Newfoundland puppy, Burt's best friend [walker]. She was wonderful with him (especially considering his size and how rambunctious he has a tendency to be)! She would always send us photos of him and cute emails about the fun they had on their walk or visit. We also had Grace stay with Burt at our apartment when we went away and it went flawlessly. We recently moved out to New Jersey and we are definitely missing Pawfect Day and Grace! I can't say enough great things about Jacqueline and Grace -- you're in wonderful hands! read more

Jacqueline and her team at Pawfect Day have always provided wonderful and caring service to our beagles, Sydney and Leigh. I have used Pawfect Day for dog walking and boarding. All her dog walkers would provide me with a daily report on how each walk went and were very reliable and friendly. I always felt that Sydney and Leigh were in good hands when I needed boarding services. Jacqueline treats each dog as if it were her own and I never had to worry when we left our dogs with her. The Pawfect Day team is reliable, friendly, caring, and professional. We love Pawfect Day! read more

A great service! Very reasonable, and my cat sitter (Elina) is amazing; she sends me 2-3 pictures every time she visits and feeds my little guy and I know when I enlist Jacqueline and Elina that I'm getting great service. Also, Pawfect has a very easy to use website and booking/payments system that makes the whole process so seamless. I DEFINITELY recommend! read more

We have used Pawfect Day to look after our two cats over a period of several years now. Their sitters have uniformly been professional, communicative and punctual. They have been able to take on last minute requests and even find creative ways of giving medicine to our older, grumpier cat. I highly recommend their services. read more

My girlfriend and I planned an impromptu weekend vacation over Memorial Day weekend. Normally when we go away we'll have a friend or relative come and look after our cat for us, but given this was a popular weekend to go away, no one was around to help. Unsure of what to do, I started looking up cat sitting services (the Thursday before the weekend mind you) and in a last minute effort I called Jacqueline. She was very understanding of the situation and immediately was able to help us set up a time for a caregiver to come each day we were gone to hang with my cat, feed him, change his litter box and change hit water bowl. Each day we were away, we received either an email or a text detailing the caregivers time with our cat and the services she performed. We were extremely pleased with her timeliness and attention to detail as we left specific instructions for her. When we got home our cat seemed very content, as if we never left. Jacqueline's service is very well run, responsive and well priced. The pawfect day website is also very user friendly. I would certainly recommend it to others without hesitation. Evan read more

Pawfect Day was the best!! I emailed them the night before I left on a trip because I had no one to watch over my cat. Jacqueline emailed me back right away and was able to get me someone to watch my cat over the long weekend. I was able to speak over the phone with the woman who would be in my apartment and with my cat. She was great. She sent me a nightly email about the day with Binx (my cat) and sent me a picture in the email. I also signed up for the 30 minute appointment so she stayed around and played with binx after feeding him and cleaning his litter box. I would 150% recommend them to any and all! read more

Left my little doggie with Jackie while on vacation for 10 days in France this past April. My doggie lived her best life! Everyday (a few times a day) I received the cutest photos and videos of my pup hanging out with Jackie and Eddie and footage of their walks. Her apartment is super clean and cozy and she has a magnificent walled-in terrace where the dogs can lay in the sun. She was very accommodating and replied to all emails in less than an hour (and that was with a 5 hour time difference!!). She did go above and beyond to make sure I felt good about leaving my baby with her bc she knew I was very nervous :/ thank you again. Worth every penny. So happy you are apart of our lives! Jackie is one of the most caring people I've ever met. She will take care of your dog as if its her own. She has great knowledge about animals and animal behavior and is incredibly responsible and diligent. Plus, your dog will get to spend time with her dog Eddie, who is a very easy-going dog that loves other dogs. I cannot recommend Jackie highly enough (and I'm very picky about where I would send my dog). Your dog will be in excellent hands with Jackie. read more
