I just had the most incredible experience with Your Pie Pizza. But before I get to that, I want to tell you about the first time I had their pizza. I was starving after a long day at work and was searching for a place that offered a personal sized pizza. I glanced at their reviews and menu- sold. I ordered the hot honey pizza and chocolate chip cookies. Delivery was quick and the food was delicious. Not a "I was starving and anything would have been good" kind of delicious- but insanely good. Fresh ingredients, perfect topping ratio, and cooked perfectly. The cookies were the icing on the cake. I was so impressed I called to tell the manager how amazing everything was. We ended up having a 10 minute conversation that left me feeling like a valued customer. I've ordered many times since then, including today. When I pulled up DoorDash and tried placing my usual order, it said they were closed. I called to double check and learned that their head cook had no showed to work. The 80 year old gentleman who owns Your Pie Pizza drove in from Shallot to get everything up and running. However, DoorDash had been disabled for the day- which meant no delivery. Instead of turning me away, he insisted I give him my order so he could deliver it himself. He reminded me so much of my grandfather. I knew declining his offer would have insulted his kindness. He was the sweetest man ever. We had a great conversation about customer service and commitment. And of course, he refused to let me pay. This will forever be one of my favorite places to eat. I was staying at a hotel in Wilmington with no vehicle so I decided to order from this pizza place that had good reviews. I ordered the pizza and a small salad and when the person delivered it, I realized the salad was not delivered. The delivery girl apologized and said "they said that this was all that I was supposed to take." OK, so that's fine. I'll contact DoorDash but then when I open the pizza I noticed it's not really what I ordered. I completely thought it was for a different person. It had bacon all over it, and I did not order anything with bacon, nor do I eat bacon. So I called the restaurant and I said I just wanted to verify that I didn't make a mistake in ordering this, and asked if this pizza automatically came with bacon on it? (Maybe I didn't catch that or misread it.) The person that answered the phone was so nice and apologetic however, the manager that was SCREAMING in the background was so angry, would not let me get a word in edgewise. He just kept screaming, "She'll have to call DoorDash! We haven't even gotten paid for this order!" I kept trying to talk through the young man that had answered the phone to say "I'm not asking for anything. I'm just trying to find out if this pizza automatically came with bacon and it wasn't listed that way on the app. May I speak??" then the manager started screaming, "I'll redo it for her, but she has to come get it!" I kept trying to tell the young man on the phone, "I don't have a vehicle. I cannot come get another one. I'm just trying to get my question answered, but he will not stop screaming in the background at me." The young man finally admitted yes it was their fault. They made it wrong. They shouldn't have put bacon on it and no, it does not normally come with bacon. He continued to start screaming again. "We haven't even gotten paid for this!" I finally had to hang up. I had already contacted DoorDash about the salad and so then I had to make another claim on the pizza because I can't eat that pizza not with the bacon on it. And it was crumbled up so I couldn't pick it off either. I did not want to run the risk of accidentally consuming the bacon. I tried getting the refund from DoorDash and they offered me less than what the order had cost. I had to reach out to help further and speak with someone and I explained to them to what happened and they gave me my money back finally. But the issue here is with that angry manager at this restaurant. Mistakes happen, I understand that, but I was just simply trying to ask a question. I wasn't placing any blame. I wanted to find out if I was the one that made the mistake. I'm not sure if he was the manager or the owner, but I will tell you it was on June 24 between 4 and 5pm. Horrible customer service. I really do love this place. This is one of two places in town where you can get a real keto crust pizza NOT made with rice flour. My type 1 diabetes wife can eat their keto crust pizza all day and not spike. I think the regular crust is great, too. The people working here are super nice, just really helpful and professional. Since this is a franchise, so owner operated not a company chain, I want to give Your Pie in Wilmington props for being my go to delivery treat! Either the kids pasta or pizza meal delivers tastiness at such a reasonable cost every time. At $8.74 each, both the pasta and pizza are made with quality ingredients in a good sized portion. I customized each to contain broccoli and plant based sausage this week. The Alfredo sauce on the perfectly cooked lemme pasta is just the right level of creamy-ness. The perfectly baked pizza is thin crust style and can be customized to have only vegan cheese on it. Each meal comes with a generous scoop of either vanilla Tahiti or Chocolate gelato too and a small drink. Both gelato options are great. For rainy day deliveries, I don't think you can go wrong with this choice. read more

We are here for vacation and placed our order online. We picked our order and got back to our place and it was so undercooked. We tried to heat it up and eat it but it didn't have any flavor whatsoever and the dough was still very undercooked. We both ate only one piece and decided it was not edible so we called the restaurant. The first person we spoke to was nice and was apologetic for our experience but I guess she was unable to make any decisions as to how this would be handled and gave the phone to the 'manager'. When he got on the phone he was very passive aggressive and said the we checked the order when we picked it up and said it was fine , "what changed between then and now'". Yes, we did look at the pizza to make sure they were the correct as to what we ordered, but we didn't taste it or pick it up to make sure it was done all the way. We tired to explain that checking the order and tasting the food is not the same thing. He stated that he would make us a new pizza but the problem with that was we were about 20-25 min away and it was already 8:30pm. We really didn't want to drive an hour for a pizza we really didn't want anymore. We said we would bring him the pizza tomorrow so we could just get a refund but he stated we had to get the refund on the same day as the purchase. Then he said he would refund us but he would have to give us money out of his own pocket tomorrow and he would do whatever it took to make it right. Then he said we need to take multiple pictures of the pizza we didn't eat to prove to him we didn't eat it. We expressed our confusion to the whole situation and how it was being handled. He ultimately stuck to this resolution and we didn't get a refund. We plan on contacting corporate to inform them of our very negative experience. We will never visit here again. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Me and my family came in trying to order pizza and the guy up front kept ignoring us, he didn't know the answer to what was in ANY of the ingredients, my mom has a dairy allergy and he couldn't tell us if the pizza had cheese in it, finally he decided it didn't and my mom googled it and it in-fact had cheese, dairy and eggs. So we tried to order for 15 mins and he is standing there laughing and giggling and wasn't coherent with the words we were saying. We asked him if he was laughing at us and he said he was " Having a good time" And we all could guess what that means . We look over to our right and we notice the other guy working has his hands in the ingredients without gloves ! And we watched him make an entire pizza without using gloves the whole time . I was trying to be optimistic and wondered if it was his . Afterwards , I saw him bring the pizza to two elderly women sitting outside . I knew morally this was very wrong . So, I confronted him about it in which he responded VERY rudely and tried to tell me he "doesn't have to" .So, I notified the women ourside eating the pizza and they were also very uncomfortable with the fact he didn't use gloves and kept thanking me for telling them. For dinner one night I was craving pizza. I had seen a special happening at Your Pie for a truffle pizza with roasted red peppers and mushrooms that I just had to try. I called in my order so I could quickly go grab it. When I arrived at Your Pie, I gave them a call, and they promptly brought it out to my car. I ordered the deeeeelicious truffle pizza and one of my go-tos- the meatball pasta that has a ton of cheese in it. Hands down the worst first experiences at a restaurant in the Wilmington area. The restaurant was almost empty but still waited several minutes for someone to show up at the register to pick up a carry out order. Someone who saw me walk in, who turned out to be the manager, finally got up from their chair in the corner to finish packing our order. We ordered a supreme with extra mushrooms and onions and a great white with chicken, mushrooms and jalapeños. When we got home our pizza was already cold and neither pie was made as we requested. No additional toppings were added to the great white nor were extras added to the supreme. We were told by the manager that the ticket that printed in the kitchen had no edits or extras however the emailed receipt we received had all the extras that we requested. After calling the manager on duty to provide feedback on our experience he got loud and extremely rude, said that the website is not operated by the company and that it contains wrong information but that they are not responsible for any errors caused by the website, he said that there wasn't anything they could do, so I'm stuck with food I did not order and out more than $50. The website also charges an automatic tip, which the person I spoke to does not deserve. If we could give them a 0 we would. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

The customer service was worst than the case of diarrhea and bubble guts that both my boyfriend and I received literally while eating this disgusting overpriced and small portioned meal options. I completed a survey and shared the same story I'm sharing now that the food tasted good, like it tasted ok but it gave us the sh$$'s. That's a fact. I was contacted and it was pretended that I would get my full refund in the efforts of making the exchange fair. The lady and owner Jada O'Malley continues to lie about an $40.29 refund. I absolutely love this locations crustless pizza options and the new Hot Honey (when they remember to put it on, BC they charge you for it) but today I was sad because over the weekend I received a flyer for a new product and come in today not too hungry but wanted to try it! Standing in line I asked for the kicken pepperoni sticks and was told they do t make them here, I was disappointed. So I ordered the regular breadsticks instead. Hopefully! Today was really busy! I went here last night with my girlfriend for doordash around 15 minutes before closing and the two people who were working were Paul and Charles, they were both SUPER friendly and amazing people and they made me feel super welcome and honestly they made for such an amazing environment and atmosphere and vibe, sense it was close to closing they even gave me a free small pizza because why not and sense I was doordashing it was a very nice snack to have for the road, I recommend this place very much and thanks again Paul and Charles for making this place a great and fun restaurant to dine-in :) read more

If you ever want really good pizza quick, stop by Your Pie. They are brand new to the Wilmington area. The restaurant is really nice and clean. They have lots of pizza toppings to choose from or you can just order a signature pie. The pizzas are cooked in a gas pizza oven and they come out with perfectly cooked crust.
