Back again and it's loaded with locals and all around! Fabulous place to come play games such as golf , basketball etc and it looks as if it's real so I'll say it's a virtual look. Moving forward they have a whiskey club with a list of whiskeys you try in order to get a plaque with your name on it in the restaurant. Ask the bartender about it. The pizza is delicious and I love getting hot honey on mine drizzled words can't explain it's so good! The menu is filled with lots of choices for anyone's taste as well as beverages such as beer, wine and whiskey are available. This place is amazing and I do recommend coming and having some fun! Ordered Ledo for a quick lunch during my North Carolina vacation. I went for the white pizza, medium and boy was it a good choice. The pizza was full of flavor, I could taste the cheese, garlic aioli and the seasoning on top. The crust was very well cooked, nice and crispy. My wife got in on the action and loved it as well, we ended up polishing off the entire pizza which we didn't plan on doing but it was so darn good. It was a fantastic experience and we'll definitely order again next time we're in Wilmington. read more

The experience... If I could leave zero stars I would. I was actually weirdly excited to try this place, because I remember liking it years ago from another location. I was tired, so I ordered curbside. I got there early, so I just sat in the car for a while. I had checked in just in case my order was done early. I checked in again around the time it was supposed to be ready. At about 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, I decided I would just go in and get it. They were having a private party, and the place was packed. I was ignored by a couple of the staff, and then a young woman walked by and I asked her about it. She said, oh curbside, it's probably right there at the door. I told her no, I had curbside. She said yes, the curbside orders go here. I still thought I heard her wrong, but lo and behold, it was my order.....my ice cold pizza, cold wings, and hot soft drink. Now for the food.... I was starving by the time I reached the hotel room, so I pulled apart a piece of pizza and it was wet. I wish I could say it was just grease. Nope, I had ordered a pepperoni pizza with hot honey, and apparently it was marinated in honey. I get hot honey on most of my pizzas now, but I've never had pepperoni pizza as a dessert before. It was terrible. I did get Buffalo wings, and while they were even good cold, I'd rather eat a turd than order from Ledo again. It was that bad of an experience. This is the first 1 star review I've ever given. Having worked in the food industry years ago, I know things happen. But too many bad things happened in this visit. read more

We found this fun place by walking in the wrong door! Now we go twice a month. Pizza is awesome and they have a full Italian menu. Loved the pizza so much we came back two days in a row! The Hot Honey Pepperoni is to die for and the Cannonball is equally delicious. Crust is perfectly crispy on the edges and soft & chewy in the center. This is our new favorite pizza joint. Staff is super friendly as well. I'm giving 2 Stars only because I'm a Marylander and Ledo's is my family's favorite pizza. That being said I always give a restaurant a second chance and this was my second chance and will probably never order from this location again. Last month we ordered pizza was not good and the salad we received.. majority of the lettuce was bad.. I mean with slim! So we gave it a month.. then ordered this past Saturday night. The pros.. the two orders of fried raviolis were good! The pizza was edible but not great and the salad was in a way smaller container then last time and I had ordered extra chicken! This salad was $11. So basically no lettuce! And I'm not sure if I would call that extra chicken! I also ordered an Extra jar of the house dressing which is $3.99. My son asked was it in the bag and they said yes!! Got home no jar of dressing! So I usually just let things go but this was a $60 order. So I called back. I didn't complain about anything else that was wrong with the order but not receiving the dressing. All I wanted was the money back for the dressing. The girl that answered the phone seemed like she did not know what to do so she went to ask her manager.. he told her to tell me he was too busy to talk (which I understood) and to get my info and he would call me back Sunday. I went to Ledo Pizza a few days ago with my two sons. My late fiancee, having grown up in the Fredericksburg area in Virginia, raved about this pizza and dreamed of Ledo opening in Wilmington. Although she never got a chance to see it happen, it's here now! First off, it's impossible to find toasted ravioli in Wilmington (a staple in St. Louis, MO) - but Ledo has it! Of course, Ledo has problems with their fryer that day so we didn't get a chance to try them but we'll certainly be back. Tyler, the general manager, made sure we'd get them on the house for our next visit. :-) The pizza crust is a little unconventional but tasty nonetheless. The last reviewer mentioned the crust being soggy and soft. Our waitress, Katie Ann, recommended we try the pizza well-done to make sure the crust was firm and crispy around the edges - turned out to be an excellent suggestion! Provolone cheese is also unconventional for cheese on a pizza but it was fantastic. Toppings were generous, tasty, and the pepperoni slices were thick and meaty, very nice. Of of my sons had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli. He ate every bite of it, surprising since the portion was huge. He said it was very tasty and the pasta al dente. The fact this Ledo is in Rounds Golf and Lounge in Mayfaire made this location a great spot to take the kids, buddies, or a date. We have been eating Ledos for years and years and have gone to several locations. This was our first time at this location and we ordered our usually calzones. We were sadly surprised when we got our to go order and found what they tried to pass off as $9 calzones. Fortunately we noticed how light the boxes were and stopped to look inside. We found TINY, oily, burnt calzones. These $9 calzones were the equivalent size as one slice of pizza - about the size of a slice of bread and very thin. They are probably 1/3 the size of the calzone we normally get at other Ledos locations. The worst part was that they had a gray look to them and were way too over done. They looked like that had been smoked and then sprayed with oil. We asked the staff about them. They said they did look over done but that was their normal size. ...maybe for that location, not at any other location we've been to! Ordered online curbside pickup and arrived 10 minutes early so decided i would have a drink while waiting for my order. The place was very busy with a rather young crowd enjoying themselves, having drinks, mostly standing, noise level very high and masks completely absent. That was fine but not in my comfory zone so I went back to my car to wait for my order. My reciept for the online order had a tab for waiting outside which I tapped and got an immediate screen saying my order was on its way. 10 minutes past the ready time I called and got a recording they were probaly busy, unable to pick up the call and to call back, which I did. The second time I called their mail box was full. So I went in. The hostess was surrounded by three men with drinks in hand having an extended conversation with her. After what seemed like a generous amount of time I walked around them, interrupted the socializing and told the hostess I had been waiting for my curbside pickup. She immediately knew my name and explained she had my order right next to her waiting for pick up. I was then told by her I should have called. After I finally got back to my hotel room the salads ordered did not have the extras ordered on them and the forks that were also ordered were not present. I'm a Maryland native living in North Carolina, visiting Wilmington on vacation. I love Ledo. I've been to many, including the original. I wish there were more in North Carolina. At this location, the pizza itself was good and up to standards. The appetizers were not. We got the fries with Old Bay. All of us thought they put too much Old Bay on...yes that's possible. The beadsticks were burnt and the garlic bread was not tasty. We will give it another try next time we are in town. read more

As a thin crust Chicago style pizza fanatic, this pizza hits the mark with a nice thin crust and a very unique mildly sweet tasting sauce.
