Yesterday was my first time eating at Your Pie and I chose to eat there for lunch because of the vegan cheese option. I was ordering with my boyfriend and one worker behind the counter helped him while I waited for someone else to help me with my pizza. They never mentioned the gluten-free dough as I saw on the menu, but I didn't really mind. Another worker came and helped me but he didn't even ask what kind of dough or sauce I wanted. After he already spread the regular sauce when I wanted buffalo sauce he asked me, "This is the sauce you wanted, right?" After he had to get new dough, the worker who helped my boyfriend began to help me. The cashier was very friendly and funny. The server also gave us the wrong pizzas at first because the numbers were mixed up. I ordered a white dough pizza with buffalo sauce, cilantro, baby spinach, pineapple, vegan daiya cheese, and mushrooms. I also got a free scoop of chocolate gelato because of Yelp. The pizza was smaller and thinner than I expected, but I love how they use a brick oven and the pizza tasted so good and was very cheesy. Very nice pizza. You can pick your choice of toppings unlimited. It's stone fired pizza with a delicious taste. The appearance and cleanliness is perfect. The staff is great, I have had one person help me before that was rude but hey we all have bad days sometimes. All in all I give the Pizza 4 out of 5 stars. As a pizza lover, I am a huge fan of Your Pie! They have a nice variety of cheeses, sauces, and toppings that can make just about anyone happy. Their topping-to-pizza ratio is juuuust right, too! I went here a lot when I was vegan because they have daiya (dairy-free) cheese, which can be hard to find at some pizza shops. They do charge extra for it, but I understand that it's probably more expensive than regular cheese. They also have gluten free crust for people with dietary restrictions. read more

This place nails it. Buffalo Chicken Panini was hot, spicy, and tasty. At $8, a good deal. Food came in about five minutes. Clean facility. Awesome beer list too (check my photo). Other reviews say "Like Chipotle"... I hesitated on writing that. If you like Chipotle (like I did, in the past, before all their health issues), then yes, it's like that: fast casual, not bargain basement, but good food at a fair price. I made my own pie and ordered it online. The pizza was really tasty although the presentation of it was pretty ugly and a bit burnt. The service was fair. There were a lot of young maybe high school or college aged kids working. Some seemed confused, but maybe they were new. It was my first time in there. I say this to say I would only come back for the pizza but not the service. They weren't welcoming in any sense. I received a free scoop of gelato for checking in. I selected the cookies and cream. It was not good really. I'll stick with strawberry fields in Ghent for gelato and Your Pie for the occasional personal pizza. read more

This place was surprisingly good. My date and I ordered delivery to downtown Norfolk and it arrived still warm and tasty. I had the Lineage while my date created her own pizza. I love sausage and theirs has a unique flavor. I recommend getting the Buffalo sauce because it was not overpowering and also great! A perk of this place is that you have unlimted topping options for your personal pan pizza. A con would be that the side salad lacks in ......... salad. lol. Delicious pizza, friendly staff, and expedient service. I came here for lunch with a friend and we both got custom built pizzas with as many toppings as we could handle and in almost no time. We paid, got our drinks, sat down, and the pizzas were brought out to us. No one bothered us except to take away trash and ensure all was well. I've been here twice, and it's definitely a cool experience! Both times I ordered specialty pizzas from the menu and enjoyed them. The first time I visited I ordered the loaded baked potato pizza, it was original and delicious! Ranch sauce with potato slices, bacon, red onion, scallions, cheese and sour cream made it a one of a kind pizza. There was a bit too much red onion on it for me, but I'm sure it could have been customized. The second time I got the Great White pizza that had a variety of different cheeses; ricotta, mozzarella and feta with olive oil and garlic. The feta was a little strange at first, but I did end up enjoying it. Both times I did also get some gelato. It was creamy and delicious, definitely give it a try! Although it took me a minute to figure out what was going on, I was very happy with the experience. Step one is choosing white or wheat crust. They have a selection of off-the-menu pizzas to choose from or you can build your own by choosing from the ingredients across the glass. I went with one of the menu pizzas on wheat crust and was very happy. They toss the crust, cover it in toppings and put it in the brick oven. For kids, they'll give them the extra crust to roll and play with while the pizza is cooking. Turned out to be a great activity for my son while we were waiting. The build your own pizza is a cool experience but it's so hard to hear the person because of the music, the crowd talking, and the large glass shield. It was my first time here and I didn't know how this place operated, was clearly confused and lost and even said I'd never been before. instead of assisting my confusion, I was just ordered along with "ma'am ok?" Every 5 seconds. The dough is sitting out on a rack and I have no idea how long it's sat there, not to mention every child in line was given dough to play with except mine (which i had no clue was available). Greta place !! Went on the grand opening and it was a madhouse which doesn't surprise me but also nice to see a local place get attention. I got a personal size pizza which came with six slices and was 8.00 bucks. It was awesome. The concept is a pizza bar you pick what you want on it and bam in the oven it goes. They also have a nice beer tap area and also serve wine and they have salsas and a gelato station as well.
