Great food and drinks! The café has a very nice atmosphere--perfect for sitting, relaxing, and chilling for a while. Parking was also easy to find, which made the visit even better. Definitely a nice spot to enjoy coffee and spend some time.

Every time I come here I am very satisfied. A cute location near downtown, adjacent to cobblestone streets and old-town charm! I've never had a bad coffee here. Love the almond joy latte or the honey cin. I'm not a fan of seafood, so I get my bagel and "lox" with bacon instead. Don't knock it til you try it! Beautiful presentation, and a nice modern coffeehouse vibe inside. One of my favorite places in Norfolk.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such a cute and cozy coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really enjoy the daily rotating treats in the display case by the register--there's always something new to try. My favorite so far has been the German chocolate cupcake! On this visit, I ordered the ham & cheese croissant, and it was hands-down the most filling croissant I've had in the area--absolutely packed with ham. One small downside: I wish they offered cold foam on drinks beyond just a few select coffee options. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't add it to my matcha. I'd probably group that under service, but overall, still a lovely spot to stop by!

I stopped by Cure Coffeehouse during my trip to Virginia. They had a lot of options to choose from on their menu, but I really enjoyed the Daily Grind breakfast sandwich alongside my iced honey cinnamon latte. The service was excellent as they were helpful during the ordering process of my visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, they have a very open layout throughout the shop, making it feel comfortable and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a variety of seating options which was convenient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The addition of board games made my experience more memorable. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere with great food and coffee, make sure to stop by if you're in the area!

I went in on a Sunday afternoon for a PSL, but came out a little disappointed they have not released their seasonal drink specials. Instead, I ordered another usual a mounds iced latte. The latte is a favorite of mine, so that made me a little bit happier.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon entering, the coffeehouse is extremely cute. A good size and aesthetically pleasing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The chai tea was okay, not the best I've ever had, as well as the muffin. My sister loved her matcha. The cashier was a little rude, she definitely could've been nicer especially given that was our first time at the shop. I'm unsure if i will return.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute coffee shop with yummy food and drinks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is fast and very friendly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a great atmosphere to chill, socialize or work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of food and drink options for those with dietary restrictions. I really enjoyed the everything bagel with smashed avocado and lox! My husband had the turkey sandwich and really enjoyed it too :)

This is a pretty popular cafe near downtown. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decent amount of seating inside, but it's usually filled especially on the weekends[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quiet and clean space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of options for coffee and even alcohol if you do choose. As for the food, I got the Turkey Fig and Pastrami Reuben. The turkey fig is one of the more popular items per the worker, and she was not wrong. The turkey pairs well with the goat cheese and arugula, giving it a nice crunch. The Reuben had a generous amount of pastrami and came nice and toasted.

Me and my daughter are in town from Houston , TX and this location seems to be in walking distance from seeing many historical sites. Both food and coffee are delicious

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute coffee shop and spacious![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The match latte was very good. And the apple cupcake was cute and moist. Frosting was bit too sweet. The hangover helper sandwich was delicious. The sandwich could have used more meat. The service was very friendly.

Every visit to Cure Norfolk has been a delightful experience! The food is mouthwateringly good and the drinks are always spot-on, enhancing each meal. What I truly cherish about Cure is the relaxed vibe--it's never overcrowded (when I get there), which means grabbing a table is a breeze. It's so nice to be able to unwind and enjoy the ambiance and conversations with friends. This place is a gem for anyone who appreciates great food and a peaceful setting to enjoy it in. Eat well, @cafecitoxco

Love Cure! Their coffee and food is all really good. Service was friendly and they were fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great space for gathering with a group, studying, or just enjoying the cute neighborhood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All parking is street parking but it's free and I've never had an issue finding a spot. I'll definitely be back!

Stop 2 of 3 on a Coffee Crawl I was part of!! Such a cute place!! I ordered a cold brew coffee of course!! It was pretty good I had a hard time tasting the flavor I ordered the bourbon pecan pie ( I believe that's the name) others in my group who ordered a flavored coffee said the same thing they couldn't really taste the flavor. The service was quick. The place seems very popular the line was very long, but moved quickly. They had 3 people working which is great for a small coffee shop. I would go back but I would request extra extra flavoring.

It has been nearly three weeks; I can stop thinking about No Frill Bar and Grill…read more I'm a military spouse, so I know my time in Hampton Roads is coming to an end soon. I visited a Hampton Roads Restaurant group on FB and asked if someone was visiting from out of town: What is your go-to place to take them? Out of 90+ comments, No Frill Bar and Grill was mentioned the most - six times! So when I finally had a day off and some other business to tend to in Norfolk, it was the perfect excuse to finally try them. No Frill Bar and Grill has been open for nearly 30 years by Jerry Meltsner. Jerry's nephew Jon Kliner helps co-own and manage operations. It originally opened on Tidewater Drive, but the space didn't allow for much growth - 10 years later, he moved to a location off Colley Avenue and Spotswood Avenue. Growth continued, moving from counter service to table service. The second location, at 1620 Laskin Road in Virginia Beach, opened in 2005. The restaurant's longevity stems from quality, consistency, price, service, and staff who genuinely care about the business and serving the community. I asked the server for her opinion on two options - Salmon, Shrimp and grits won. The dish was incredible: lightly blackened salmon, for once blackened food that doesn't just taste like salt. I don't dine with the swine, so I asked for no andouille sausage. The sautéed shrimp, caramelized onions, tomatoes, and spinach simmered in Norfolk Canyon ale sauce over cheesy grits and Boursin lavash cracker. The cheesy grits were smooth, and the Boursin lavash cracker was a nice touch. The Boursin added extra creaminess to the meal. The cracker wasn't really a cracker - more like little toasted bread. After this first meal, I know two things for sure: 1. I definitely understand why it is such a local favorite, and 2. I will be back.

The service is always great and the hosts/servers are always friendly. Our go to is the meatloaf. when you're looking for a good ol' comfort food - that's the best. They also have amazing desserts that are worth a try. We found this restaurant good for families (including our toddler)! Food was toddler approved!

However, looking past the personal nostalgia, my objective view of Baker's Crust remains incredibly high. This place truly delivers a solid dining experience. Here is my honest breakdown of the food and the vibe: The Fried Chicken & Egg: The fried chicken was absolutely delicious--the sauce they used was incredible and paired so well with the crispiness. As you can see from my photos, the fried egg on top was cooked to absolute perfection. The Drinks: The presentation of the food and drinks was beautiful and highly aesthetic. Just a little heads-up on the cocktails/drinks: they definitely pour them strong here! It gave me a tiny bit of a buzz, so pace yourself if you aren't looking to get tipsy too quickly. The Ambience & Service: The service was attentive and thoughtful throughout our meal. The AC was adjusted perfectly--not too cold, not too hot. The only minor downside to the environment is that it can get a little loud and bustling inside. Parking Tip: Since it's located in a busy commercial area, finding a parking spot can be a bit of a challenge. Give yourself a few extra minutes to park. When to visit: This spot is the ultimate destination if you want to catch up with friends, talk business in a casual setting, or simply treat yourself to a relaxing weekend morning. Honestly, it's best enjoyed on the weekend when you can actually slow down. Coming here on a busy weekday might not feel as worth it, simply because you won't have the time to truly sit back and savor the atmosphere. Even though times change and people move on, this place remains a wonderful spot for creating good moments.

The sandwich is just as the store name suggests basic, if you like a classic simple sandwich then this is your spot. I would have like to have seen a slightly higher quality meat for a sandwich shop. The meat on the sandwiches seems like regular prepackaged deli meat, given the price point there's nothing wrong with that. Most if not all of the sandwiches start at 8$ so everything is decently priced. If you want a sandwich but you don't want a jimmy John's or subway sub this is a nice alternative for a little midday lunch.
