I don't even know where to begin. 1)First, there was definitely at least one broken item that I found just in a couple hours I was there 2)They used gigantic boxes for a ton of little stuff that they just threw in the box. I'm talking a 3-ft tall x 2ft x 2ft box filled with tiny bathroom stuff for one example. Why on Earth would you use such a giant box for a bunch of little stuff, especially when there's things that could spill. 3)"We wrap, protect, and transport everything with care." I found the absolute opposite. There was a whole entire box of fragile porcelain figurines that were placed in a box without any sort of paper or bubble wrap around any of the items and they only threw a wad of paper at the very top. The box where I found a broken porcelain figurine it was just placed amongst other fragile stuff and clothing. Again, no wrapping whatsoever around these fragile objects. 4) Many of the boxes were not labeled as far as the contents and we had no idea what was in these boxes. 5) some of these boxes had words on them and I don't even know if it was English, but I have no idea what they said. And only the top of the box is remarked none of the sides. So you had to unbury all of the boxes just to read whatever gibberish was on the top. 6) they literally just placed the boxes anywhere they wanted. The homeowner tried to direct them to what rooms things went in and it was a complete disaster when I got there today. 7) And before I forget, the most important thing is that they lost their cat! They had a door that was closed and they told one of them make sure nobody goes in here because I have cats in here and they opened the door and the cat ran out of the house and is still missing as of a couple weeks. How are they going to compensate for that? That was only 4 hours today and it was a WhatTF ...one after another. I'm going to be helping them unpack for the next few weeks and I cringe thinking what I'm going to find. Seems like they were a very lazy and unprofessional/ untrained team. I pack as part of my job as well and this was high schooler level. A college kid would do better than this. Major training is needed

We called them on Easter Sunday at 7:15 am hoping they might be able to help us out. They picked up immediately and said they could be at our apartment as soon as 8:00 am!! On Easter Sunday!!!! It was an Easter miracle! They charged 70 bucks an hour for two guys, or offered us 4 guys for 140 an hour. We took two guys since we said we would be helping out as well. It was an additional $100 for the truck rental on their end and they called us the moment they were outside. There were no additional side charges. Period. Just $100 dollars plus $70 per hour. SUPER good deal! I received a quote from one other place, and the other place had me fill out a huge quote for, and quoted me over 500. We had a bunch of other boxes and small stuff but told them to just grab the big stuff. In total we had the following items to move: 1 couch that pulled out to a queen sized bed, 1 dining room hutch, 1 huge cat tree, 1 enormous dining room table, 1 queen sized bed and giant mattress, 1 large dresser, 1 TV stand, 1 coffee table, 1 kitchen block/cart, 1 large cupboard, 1 Huge desk with a versa desk on top, 1 entry way bench, and 1 set of file cabinet drawers. We lived on the first floor of an apartment building (still had a flight of stairs to go down) and we were moving to the 2nd floor of a new place just down the street (still had about 3 flights of stairs). Both places had very difficult back stairwells (common with old apartment buildings) to maneuver. Mark and William showed up and did an absolutely stellar job. They took a total of 2.5 hours and took incredible care of every one of our items. In total, our final bill $275. These guys rocked and the price was so reasonable. I was literally in shock watching how quickly and efficiently they moved. They were lifting things as if the items weighed nothing. At one point one of them had the set of file cabinet drawers strapped to their back and just breezed up the back stairs. I literally couldn't believe it! They were so so so friendly and kind. As someone who has moved over 15 times, I have a lot of experience with moving companies. ACM has…read morebeen, by far, the single worst experience I have ever had and I would never recommend them to anyone. For my cross-country move, I called ACM as the moving & storage company I was utilizing while between homes could not deliver my stuff across the country in the timeframe I desired. They initially gave me what seemed like a fair quote, but clearly had a premium price attached to it. Once they picked up my stuff, everything changed. The new price they now wanted was $3K higher because they chose to utilize smaller trucks, something that was not communicated to me initially. Due to this, my couch could not stand on its side and I was charged more for the space it took up. After going back and forth with the manager, I had to agree on a price approximately $2K higher for something A) of their doing and B) that merely took up a few more square feet. Ridiculous, but given my tight timeframe, I had to move forward as they already had my stuff in their possession. Here's where the fun begins. At 6:27am the morning of my delivery, I get a message from the driver demanding an additional $150 to move my couch, after I already agreed to paying them an additional $2K. I was appalled and called ACM immediately. I had to call over and over again to get someone to answer me and kept being told, multiple times, that the manager would call me shortly. He never did. No text, no call, no email. I finally get someone in dispatch to take my call after waiting hours to get a response and they could not have been more difficult. I had to practically yell at the guy to make him realize I was not going to be scammed for another $150 to move something that was a normal 3 person couch (not a sleeper) to the first level, no stairs. That part of the experience alone was beyond repulsive for any company to act that way. Though, it gets worse. As they are moving furniture inside, we discover that they had heavily damaged my media cabinet to the point it is unusable and unfixable. Broke the base and both of the sides sustained major damage, along with breaking one of my drawers. I was pissed but since I got full coverage, figured I would get it replaced. Nope. I filed a claim and got a response the next day saying it was the other company's fault (who moved my stuff into storage initially). Based on my interactions with them, I was not surprised at all as it was clear they are terrible people. Now I am forced to sue them to recover the damage they caused. Their own driver even said they were the worst to deal with and paid him horribly. He told me he was only getting paid $1K to drive my stuff cross-country while they kept the rest ($6.5K). I would avoid ACM at all costs.
