We had a pergola, pavement and artificial grass done for $14k. We are unfortunately very unhappy with the build. We asked for the Pergola to be in beachwood color which is completely off. There is no drainage of any sort for the pavement part so water collects in the middle. The representative we worked with (Joey) ghosted and never pulled through to get these fixed. And today, the email to contact him isn't going through. The communication is also very difficult to coordinate between their subcontractors and scheduler and there was a point in time when I just never knew what day or time they planned to come. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. This company is full of liars and people that deliver empty promises. We were told by Nick our backyard project would take a weekend. It ended up taking FIVE MONTHS. The communication by Brian and Ashlea is absolutely horrendous. All they care about is getting their money and that is it. We had rock, pavers, and turf out in the front of our house in the street for so long the city was called on us. We were also promised a specific color of rock, they delivered the wrong color and would not change it for what we asked for. This company is an absolute joke. Do not hire Ryze, or previously called Arizona Turf Masters. They had to change their name because of a lawsuit filed against them. Easy google search on that. read more

This company is a scam. After paying a 5,000 deposit after receiving a written estimate for a landscaping project, all communication has completely stopped. Multiple emails and several voicemails requesting updates on scheduling and next steps. None of the messages have been returned. At this time, no work has been performed, no timeline has been provided, and there has been zero follow-up despite repeated attempts to reach them. Accepting a substantial deposit and then failing to communicate or move forward with the project is unacceptable and highly concerning. They reached out after we posted this review and told us a refund was on the way in 7-10 days and still nothing. Filing a formal complaint today. Do not use this company! read more

In fairness the turf they installed is very nice. Their customer service and follow up sucks. I had our cool deck refinished and it was fine, other than was a consistent lack of communication by scheduling but the finished coating was satisfactory. The guys who installed the turf dragged the compactor across the deck, scarring and damaging the new coating in several places and staining it I called the day after installation and texted my contacts at RYZE and have been ignored since 11/14/25. WARNING: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I am writing this review out of sheer frustration and disappointment with the negligent and unprofessional conduct of this company. Their failure to complete the work properly, combined with their lack of communication and accountability, has left me with significant damage to my property and thousands of dollars at risk. This company installed turf in my backyard, which included removing and capping irrigation lines. They failed to complete this step correctly and, even worse, did not turn my irrigation system back on when the job was finished. Had they done so, they would have immediately noticed a major irrigation line break that has been gushing water and flooding my backyard. Because they left the system off entirely, my trees, plants, and landscaping have gone without water for days and are now dying. I contacted David on Sunday, July 10th, with no response. I contacted Aubrey the same day, and although she initially responded with assurances that the problem would be addressed immediately, no one followed through. For days, I was told a crew would come out "tomorrow," yet no crew ever arrived. Saturday was the latest promise, but once again, no one showed, no one called, and no one followed up. As of Sunday night, I have been completely ignored. This is not simply poor customer service--it is negligence. Their inaction has directly caused damage to my property, and their repeated failure to respond or resolve the issue is unacceptable. I placed my trust and my hard-earned money in this company, and instead I have been left with a disaster in my backyard, dying trees, and a complete lack of accountability from anyone involved. Decent price for the work we had done, and they grouped a couple small projects together which one crew was able to take care of. The only minor issues we had were having materials delivered before the job without warning and getting a violation from the city for obstructing the roadway, and a one day delay supposedly traffic, then a vehicle issue. Reading other reviews, I'm curious if that's just the "spin the wheel of excuses" thing, but they arrived the next day, completed the work and cleaned up the roadway by putting leftover materials in the driveway. The following day, the excess material was removed and cleaned. We are happy with the work and Ryze. From quote to completion was only a couple weeks, and one of the weeks was because we needed time, not Ryze. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RYZE OUTDOOR CREATIONS This company has shown nothing but unprofessionalism, poor communication, and complete disregard for their customers. Our project was scheduled for September 2025 and we were promised it would be completed within a single weekend. It is now January, and the project is still unfinished. We dealt with constant back and forth with project managers Ashlea and Bryan, who repeatedly promised a crew would be sent out to complete or correct the work. No crew was ever sent. Not once. Communication was inconsistent at best and nonexistent at worst. We were eventually told their staffing and scheduling issues were the reason for the delays--essentially making their failure our problem. Our patience was taken advantage of for months. We even asked Ryze Outdoor Creations to simply come pick up their materials so we could cut ties and move on. Instead of taking accountability or attempting to resolve the situation, they refused to acknowledge their mistakes and completely stopped communicating with us altogether. Their last response was in November. At this point, we fully expect the only time they will respond is after seeing this review, which appears to be their typical pattern rather than any genuine effort to do right by their customers. This behavior is selfish, deceptive, and shows a clear lack of respect for the people paying them. We had a great experience with Ryze Outdoor Creations. Our project was removing our old grass and replacing with artificial turf, paver patio and gas fire pit. They showed up when they said they would. Their crews were very polite and every day left the property with everything cleaned up. They were very efficient and we could tell they knew what they were doing. They were quick to come to us with any questions/clarifications. Met this company at the Phx Home and Garden Show held at State Farm Stadium a few weeks ago. Spoke with representatives at the Show and were scheduled for an appointment to have them come and provide a quote. Date of apt given for 3/12/25@6:30pm. Day prior received text confirmation about apt date. Date of appointment no one bothered to show up nor has anyone bothered to call to reschedule or follow up. Very disappointed in the result and lack of communication of this company! between the sales guy and project manager no phone calls were ever returned except for when they wanted payment. Once initial date was set for job to be completed it was pushed back/ changed 5 different times. When we finally got the material delivered it was the wrong travertine and once again delayed our project. once the job was completed they immediately demanded the rest of the payment before coming back to pick up extra material and cleaning up their mess. We reached out multiple times to diffetent people to get someone out to clean up/ take extra material and no response. We hired a turf installers because they were very attentive. David came by three times to make sure our plan was exactly the way we wanted it. We felt really secure in the fact that the job would be done correctly and David guaranteed our satisfaction or money back when I came home from work, the patio was just about completed and I called my husband to tell him it looked like it was in the middle of our yard When it was supposed to be more to the right side of the yard when completed we realize that there were some changes made to the plan that we were not aware of. Also, we did not agree upon these changes since that we have been calling the company texting the company and evening Their project manager came out to walk the backyard. We looked at her plan also looked at ours and she said yes, it was changed. She didn't know why, but she assured us that they would fix the problem so now a week later she has failed to give us a revised plan. We have not seen anything once this company receives its funds for the project they stopped communicating with us. They failed to return calls. They have failed to keep their promise. David guarantee our satisfaction or money back without any hassles And now we can't even get him to call us back. We asked to have a meeting with David since he was the one we worked through the whole project because he said he had things recorded and we would like to see and hear what he had so we can all agree or disagree and that never happened. they ignored us completely and just sent us an email saying that we agreed to the plan which we didn't, and never even saw the plan they revised. We requested a quote at the recommendation of a colleague who'd previously had multiple jobs done from them. The quote was much higher than we were anticipating but David worked with us and we found a happy medium that both were happy with. We were told it would take one day which we were very skeptical of considering the volume of work needing to be done. Day of installation, the team was here promptly and prepared. We hit a few snags which I feel are worth mentioning solely because of them being overcome. Foremost, we had an old sprinkler system that was to be cut out and terminated at the spigot, and the box to be ripped out, leveled off, and paved over. This was not communicated to the installers who did not speak much English, however the foreman who was there did, and we were able to communicate the plans properly and they were executed flawlessly. Another issue that had arose was the Friday before the job when the materials were delivered, the wrong roll of turf was delivered. In all honestly they could've delivered an inferior or cheaper product and we probably wouldn't have noticed the difference, but the foreman made it a point to explain that this was not what we'd paid for and they were coming to swap out the rolls immediately. This shows a lot of integrity on their part to be honest and upfront even at the expense of time spent waiting. Finally, there was a miscommunication about the small strip that runs along the house between the sidewalk and wall. We left the final walkthrough/quote meeting feeling confident this was addressed, despite it being an oversight in the initial quote. The foreman during the installation informed us this was not in the blueprints or the job specs despite us being assured it was noted. The foreman did get ahold of David who did confirm if there was enough material left from the roll, that this should be taken care of. There was in fact enough material and the installation team did get this accomplished at no additional cost. I will say after the quote, the sales person and project manager were difficult to get ahold of however the foreman for the job was able to reach them quickly and resolve the issues efficiently which is a big part of that role. We absolutely love the look of the yard, the pavers were done so well, the job was clean and the installation team was so professional and efficient, and as it turned out, it did only take one day with all though hurdles they overcame. I was genuinely concerned for the timeline and they delivered with flying colors. I am only one instance but I would absolutely (and will be) recommending AZ Turf Installers to anyone looking for turf and/or pavers. read more

ill give them one star, for the fact that they showed up for the consultation and explained everything wel enough that I decided to go ahead and give them a try. I gave a $260 deposit. Then the next day had questions. I literally could not reach anyone. 72 hours after the deposit would not be returned, I got a text message from guy that came out, and told me" I'm sorry I dropped the ball". Then I received an invoice for payment. Again I reached out with questions and had to leave a message to which nobody responded, only to receive another invoice for payment. Mind you amother week had passed. I then place another call and received an answer, but received only help telling me that the project manager would call me. 4 days went by I received a call from the " project manage, who began apologizing, "I've been having problems with my phone, she asked if I wanted to delay the project and apologize that the job was not started on the day that had been original to begin. She asked if I would like to postpone for a later date. I told her yes, " indefinitely" . Obviously I use the wrong word choice because she must've thought I meant definitely, and yet again I received another invoice for payment. That same day my husband turned around and made a call to the company and told them we not going forward with the project, he must've reached the owner of the company because we seen both an email and a text message stating that the job has been canceled. the very next day Materials were dropped off in front of our home at approximately 4:45 AM and then again and a second drop off of materials later that morning it has been five days and these materials are still sitting in front of our house and no one has come to retrieve the materials. Poor customer service, a lack of response to calls, texts, and emails, and a feeling of being passed around between different departments. we told we had a contract, and they the were sorry that we felt the way we did , But materials were already ordered. and when asked for a copy of that contract, we were toof it was being sent right away through email. Our 2 week back yard project turned into a 2 month project with many bumps on the way. The communication was the worse communication I've ever experienced. No response on text messages or voicemails. Workers would show up with no idea on what to do. Excuse after excuse was made as to the lack of communication and the extended time frame of the project. simply a bait and switch sales pitch. signed up at the state farm home show for a bid for an all wood cedar pergola. the guy showed up and only offered an alumi-wood pergola telling me it's better and is what i want. no, the fact is at the show i was told someone would show up and give me a bid on a solid wood, all wood cedar pergola and no that did not happen. the guy who gave me the bid for the aluminum pergola told me he would have his pergola installer call and make an appointment to come and show me the options they have for a wood pergola. two weeks later with nobody showing up, we called the main phone number and talked with scheduler, ron. he said he would message a.j. to call. a.j. texted, and said he would get back to us between 3 and 4 that afternoon. when he called, again he pushed his alumi-wood pergola, better than wood according to him, just what want. my wife corrected him telling him we want a wood pergola. he then stated they do not sell or install wood pergolas. what a complete waste of my time! now i'm 2 weeks behind for what, a lie! they lied at the home show, they lied with the first bid and still today tried to switch me to what they sell, not what i asked for. when i typed in "azturfinstallers.com and had google search it brought up a webpage that my antivirus would not open because it was bad! i would not do business with these guys if they were the only ones selling the product. their product and service is way overpriced, in my opinion. read more

I should have read the other Yelp reviews before picking this company.   This guy is much more into marketing his company than providing customer service.  They don't include weed barrier in their quote, and he never talked about it in his sales pitch.  When I bought it at Lowe's and asked him to put it down on install day, he gave me a price of $1000 for maybe 30 minutes of work.  We had also requested a drip line be run under the turf to a post.  We had earlier agreed to a price for this, and then on install day, they forgot to put it in. On install day he did show up with his crew, not to work, but to shoot a commercial on my property, without asking my permission.   I told him my fee for filming on my property was $400.... I never heard from him again.  No final walk through,  no nothing.  Watch out for this guy... he's just like an old-time, fast-talking sleazy used-car dealer. read more

From inception to completion David and his crew were so professional, knowledgeable and extremely thorough. The crew started at 7:30a and completed at around 4p. They were respectful, hardworking, clean and their work is perfection! We love the way it turned out! We have used artificial turf in the past at our Los Angeles home but, we love the product and quality AZ Turf Installers provides. Our new turf looks so beautiful! The main reason why we chose AZ Turf Installers because of the hydrochill precoded sand infill and their great reviews.
