I'm a 70 yr old, super anal, perfectionist (a big fault of mine, and I try my best to not be as picky), and after spending likely more than a dozen hours over the course of a few weeks doing online research on moving companies (Hey, my life belongings were going to be moved!), I reluctantly (due to past moving nightmares) called Your Moving Men, was impressed, and the moving date was set. Day of the move, I received 2 texts letting me know how far/close they were to my home. Vlad and Alex arrived on time. Never in my life have I ever been so impressed with the work done for me, and the care that they gave all of my belongings. They were intelligent, motivated, efficient, careful, personable, respectful, and expert. And, although at first, I tried to help, I soon became aware that I was just getting in their way. All I could do is watch and learn. How to wrap and protect furniture (and walls). How to load a dozen or more packed moving moxes into a huge (refrigerator sized) box set on top of 2 dollies - to be rolled from my condo, down a maze of hallways, ouside into the moving truck. Gawd, I was SO relieved to see that my life's belongings were in very conscientious hands. Long story short, there was no doubt I called the right movers. Vlad and Alex were simply magnificent. I wished I was Jeff Bezos for a day, so I could hand each of them a million dollars :) I had been unnecessarily dreading moving day for weeks. There is not a single thing or action Vlad and or Alex could have done better, for me. It was a PERFECT move for me. All my worrying for NOTHING!!!!! read more

I couldn't be happier with the service. From the initial inquiry to the final delivery, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. The movers were punctual, professional, and handled all of my belongings with care. They even went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up in my new home exactly how I wanted it and took the trash and boxes of the items I had unpacked while they were unloading the truck. I highly recommend Your Moving Men to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient moving service. read more

Recommend, without hesitation. Keywords: Transparent, cost-effective, efficient, quick, professional, local, Ukrainian-owned and operated. VETTING PROCESS. This was my first time using a moving service and before hiring, I created a spreadsheet with six different moving services (commercial and local). Your Moving Men came in second place for lowest price, but first place overall. I was already super impressed with how everything is written and right up front - all I did was confirm it's all true with the phone representative, Alex. No extra fees (I'm serious). Other movers don't usually include disassembly and assembly or if they do, it's extra. Materials were all included (wardrobe boxes, blankets, tape etc.) and fragile pieces like glass, TV, pictures are all padded by the team. They are also the only moving service on my spreadsheet that did an in-home estimate after Alex had already provided an estimate based on our conversation and pictures. IN-HOME ESTIMATE. Viktor (supervisor) came to do the in-home estimate and was very professional and had a neat appearance, complete with a Your Moving Men shirt. He talked me through how all my fragile pieces would be taken care of and I felt completely at ease. Furniture I expected would need taking apart, he assured me wouldn't need to be. My original estimate was for 3-4 hours with 2 men. Viktor recommended 3 men for 3-4 hours, which would be cheaper than 2 men for 5-6 hours. DAY OF. I received email and text confirmations from Alex throughout the process (I booked one month in advance). The day of, my contact was Vlad. His team of movers were punctual, arriving exactly at 11am. The main team included Vlad and Miro, with support from Slava, and a surprise (no-cost) extra help, Yurii. The business is Ukrainian-owned and operated and the team communicates with each other that way. Communication in English was not a barrier for me, however. When Vlad called the day of, I hadn't finished packing, but by the time I finished up, the team was done and ready to go. For my 750 sqft, 1BDR , it took them one hour. The advantage of a local mover is that they know most of the buildings in the area. That's a huge plus! I was so impressed with how knowledgeable they were about accessible roads for trucks and height restrictions at the loading dock, etc. When it came time to unload, it took 1.5 hours and they put everything exactly where I wanted it to go. They unpacked all the fragile items and did a great job cleaning up. Everything happened so fast, I kept saying "you're so fast" and at one point, Vlad asked, "is that a good thing?" Well, obviously! I AM SO IMPRESSED by Your Moving Men and highly recommend them without hesitation. read more

We hired Your Moving Men for our townhouse to single family home move. They were responsive through email and phone during our planning phase and offered competitive rates and military discount. Once we shopped around for a bit and saw the other options, it was clear that Your Moving Men was the clear choice. Set up and scheduling was straight forward, and they sent multiple reminders and double checked all the details regarding the move so it made me feel at ease. On the day of moving day, 4 men arrived to include a team lead. We took a tour of the town house, I pointed out any areas/items of emphasis, and off we went. Boxes first, then all the furniture. They took apart desks, wrapped every piece, taped the screws to the back of the desk, then wrapped everything together with padded "blankets." They took great care of all items and there was not one scratch on any of the items when we arrived at the new house. I would highly recommend anyone in the DC Metro to hire this company for any move, big or small. Their professionalism, care, and speed was second to none. read more

Vlad and his hard working team did such a great job with my recent move. From the moment I called them to inquire to the last wave goodbye from the truck, their attention to detail, thoughtful planning, and organized execution was flawless. If you need to know that a company has your back during a stressful process, Your Moving Men is your mover! They did an excellent job, were super responsive, friendly and beyond helpful. Great communication, competitive pricing and just professional from start to finish. read more

I will write more tomorrow, because it is the end of moving day, but I cannot recommend Your Moving Men more highly. From the start, the interaction with their office was professional and accommodating - Victor was awesome. Here's how much we like them in the moving itself - we changed my partner's movers on the spot once she worked with and interacted with my moving team. Vlad, Yuri, Alex and Michael were kind, flexible, communicative, funny, and easy to work with. Their pricing is straight forward and fair. They showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule and budget. You guys rock - thank you! Made my day so easy. And to my team - I very much appreciate the strength of will and actual strength to move that bed. read more

I recently moved in with my boyfriend. I didn't have a lot of furniture to move (because he has plenty in his place), but I did have a lot of boxes. The company was very responsive throughout the process, letting me know what to do to make the process run smoothly. When there was a delay getting to me due to traffic, they let me know. Three gentleman showed up around 9:20, and by 11:30, they had finished their work, including reassembling a futon sofa. They were courteous, quick, and efficient, and I recommend them if you are moving. read more

We hired Your Moving Men to move a Tempurpedic bed/mattress setup and were very pleased with the service they provided. Very professional, business-like, thorough, communicative, friendly, and more. Vlad and Miro did a great job and I would highly recommend this company for a move. Thank you! Irene and Brian read more

This hands down the best moving company that I've worked with in over 20 yrs, and I've moved over 11 times in the past decade alone. First and foremost they are very responsive. Whether it's a simple question, or just a follow up on logistics there is always a human who picks up the call. 2nd - they packed a 2000 sq ft home and loaded it (including garage and kid toys) in 5 hours and drove 4 hours to our new home. Not a single item scratched or damaged. They unloaded quickly and reassembled everything to perfection. These guys are efficient and proficient at what they do. Lastly the price was better than any of their competitors. If you are like me, young family with kids, and don't have the time or energy to pack a home, I recommend Your Moving Men to do all of your packing, loading, moving and unloading needs. Side note: my wife and mother-in-law did think all the men were extremely handsome and very fit. read more

Avoid this company at all costs! It took them nearly 8 hours to move a 2-bedroom apartment from one building to another, which was just a short walk away. They took a break only an hour and a half into the job, and when I asked when they had returned, they "were not sure." I found them casually hanging out downstairs, one person on their phone and the other smoking inside the truck. Last year, I moved the same amount of furniture in 5 hours via different moving company, but these movers intentionally dragged out the process to rack up extra hours. They tried to blame the elevator for the delay, even though we had no issues with it during our previous move within the same apartment complex. We hired them to do the job, but ended up having to assist them and do their work for them just to speed up the process. Our initial communication was promising, and we chose them based on their positive reviews, but it turned out to be a huge mistake. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this company! read more

Well, where do I start. I paid these two gentlemen movers to relocate my items, not once, yes, twice. First, as a combat veteran who served in Iraq, I researched who you are by making a call. If your tone is spicy, then thank you, but no, thank you. These two gentlemen get the thumbs up for the way they moved my things. The first time, I was on the 3rd floor. I have a fish tank that was given to me it helps my ptsd when fish are inside. Yes, Lord Jesus, they handled my baby so sweetly. I called them back to get my things again to move to my new home. Fast and very polite. I'm a grumy old veteran. I don't like to many people. I loved these guys. Some movers seem impersonal again, top-notch. Thanks for setting my bed up and attaching my mirror. They are worth the value. Physically, I can't lift heavy stuff after 5 minutes if that. I greatly appreciate the kind and respectful nature of these two gentlemen. Check them out. Them the LadyVeteran sent you. read more

Working with "Your Moving Man" was a great experience, and Serhii and Ricky couldn't have been more customer focused. Great communication from start to finish, and very thoughtful, professional, careful, and friendly throughout the move process. They were running a little later (morning traffic) but shared updates along the way and the owner authorized a discount due to the late arrival which was a nice welcomed surprise. They shared that they and many from the company were from Ukraine (had other professions in Ukraine) but were were working these jobs to start a new life in the US. It made me glad to be able to give the company our moving business and help them as they transition to life in the US. I would use them again and recommend them to friends. Wishing peace, prosperity and all the best to my new Ukraine friends and their families. read more

Your Moving Men did my local move. They arrived on time and worked very efficiently. Even in the middle of a tropical storm they finished my move in less than 4 hours. Sergi, Alex and Nick were very professional. Everything arrived at my new place with no damage. I would definitely use this company for any future moving needs. read more

Recommend without hesitation! I reached out to multiple companies for a move in late April, Victor called me the same night and I sent him a video of all items packed to be moved. He was professional the entire time up to my move (couple weeks). My new building needed a COI and he got this to me very promptly. He confirmed the move the day before and copied the guys scheduled to come. They called me when they were about 20 min away to let me know and helped me move into a studio apt about 20 minutes away on a drizzling Saturday morning. Two guys arrived on time with a truck. They came out from Rockville to Cockeysville and no extra travel fee was charged! Everything was packed and ready to go, and they packed up and moved everything in about an hour and a half. Prices were very reasonable and I really appreciated the flat fee. Many moving services were quoting me $500+ what this company charged and tried everything to upcharge anything and everything. These guys were great, great attitudes, professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. They collected payment requested without any extra charge when the move was complete. Although moving is never easy, they really made my move seamless and I strongly recommend them to anyone who has a move planned. You definitely won't be disappointed! Thank you so much YMM and I'm sorry it took me so long to post this! You guys are great and have earned a repeat customer for life. If I move in the future, you'll be my first contact! read more

We used their services while moving out from our small studio to a 1-bedroom apartment in Bethesda. We did the packing and they helped us with the move. I totally recommend them. The booking was smooth through Yelp and email communication afterwards through their office. They were on time (actually even a bit early upon our request which we appreciated). They did a great job in the disassembly of the 3-seater sleeper sofa and the king size bed (and assembly afterwards). All our stuff were carried with utmost care. Sergei and Alex were very kind throughout the move. Very efficient, swift and professional. It took them 3 hours 15 minutes overall and the price was competitive compared to other businesses available locally on Yelp. Value for money was great. Overall, I recommend this business. Thanks once more to Sergei and Alex for turning a usually very painful process to a smooth one. Much appreciated! Senem and Oltac Unsal read more

Had a really easy time scheduling them and they even showed up a little early! I was worried it would take more time and/or people to get all the things moved out of our POD into our apartment but they were great and moved everything quickly and with great care (even though they had to shuttle across two parking lots and a road)! We'd definitely use them the next time we have a move! read more

The worst possible moving company so far. I have used many moving companies over the last 20 yrs and this one was the worst experience among all. We hired this company and the assessment by the company representative was ~3 hrs. I provided a detailed description of our furnitures and boxes, the number of floors in our house,... and the company representative assured me it won't pass beyond 5 hrs. We put everything in boxes, de-assembled the beds, wardrobe, table,... and moved most of them to the main floor, so they did not need to do those extra works. It went up to ~7 hrs because of their slowness, and they broke a large number of our furnitures, because they did not carry them with care, no wrap around wooden furnitures,... There is no single furniture that is not damaged or scratched. They also damaged the building (doors, drywalls,...). I have done similar things before with other moving companies, none of them did such a poor, slow service, very disappointing. At the end of service, the lead mover assured me he is going to follow up with their management to compensate the damages (he admitted they were not professional). However, now and after 1 months, i tried to call/text them and did not receive a call back. This is fraud. NEVER HIRE THEM OF YOU WILL PAY A LOT MORE TO FIX THE DAMAGES THEY MADE read more

Very good movers. Had everything they needed, tape and blankets. Quick and professional.

My family and I used Your Moving Men for a recent move. They were great. They took great care of our belongings. Nothing was damaged or lost during the move. They worked quickly and efficiently even though we had the misfortune of dealing with rain on the day of our move. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially for the quality of work they provide. I have no complaints and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

Our Moving Men team with Vlad, Slava and Miros we're amazing. Absolutely nothing was broken when we unpacked, not even a chip in the china. They carefully and methodically wrapped and taped all furniture. Boxes were put in the labeled rooms of our new location. They checked over the finished job with us before leaving and helped us reassemble a heavy table. They worked steadily for almost 10 hours with only a short lunch and a break that they did not include in the total time. I couldn't believe how hard they worked. The rate was $169, not $119 as the Yelp description said. But everything has gone up. No surprise. They were steady kindly strong men. We very much appreciated their excellent work and service. read more

We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor with an elevator and moved into a house 20 minutes away which involved steps. These guys wrapped/unwrapped and moved us in 4.5 hours! They were super fast while being very cautious and respectful to our belongings! I highly recommend! read more

We used "Your Moving Men" to move two storage units and our 2 bedroom condo to a new location about 1 hour north of the condo. This company was very easy to work with and very accommodating. I've hired professionals on three other occasions and none have come close to the care this team demonstrated. They wrapped each piece of furniture with the best means to protect it. They worked quickly, but not so quick to be careless. They helped with any staging and set up we requested at the end destination. They were polite and friendly. They were on time for move day and easy to reach while we were making plans prior to move day. I believe the cost was very reasonable. Very impressive and I highly recommend. read more
