The sandwich itself was very bland, and the large croissant (catered from Le Chef Bakery) overpowered the minimal toppings. The turkey bacon was very good though, and I liked that they crisped the croissant so it was crunchy and flaky. I ultimately wouldn't get it again. The coffee tasted very artificial and left a bitter taste in my mouth. I really wanted to love this place as the ladies behind the counter were so kind and joyful. What a nice local Mexican home bakery! I never really had good Pan de Dulce conchas! I had them at…read morevarious bakeries in California, but was never impressed. I didn't know what the big deal was. Now I know! I ordered three types (2ea) of Conchas. They were the most flavorful moist Conchas I ever had. The powdered flavored coatings remained adhered to each Conchas with every bite. The coating of Conchas I previously tried from other bakeries fell off as soon as I picked them up. I also ordered her dessert empanadas. They were very tasty as well. This self-taught baker knows what she's doing and can teach the other bakers a thing or two. She has such a wide assortment of baked goods to choose from on her menu. She even takes orders to bake cakes for special occasions. Her cakes looks amazing! In fact I just ordered one, The Emma, which is her version of a German Chocolate Cake. I can't wait to see my wife's reaction after I present her with the cake. It's a surprise! It will be her birthday Tuesday and German Chocolate is her favorite!
