He checked for gas leaks around the fireplace with a simple sensor that would beep irregularly if gas was detected. He also took helpful photos of any problematic areas so we could see it for ourselves and keep for our records. And a bonus, while we were chatting he gently swept and reorganized our fireplace so make it look so tidy! Definitely no upsell during any of this. She pulled up my house from street view, and we talked about the specifics of my non-functioning fire place and chimney. I was very impressed with not only her thorough knowledge of the mechanics of fire places (she immediately understood my problem) but in the lack of a "hard sell" that many service providers seem to push. Terri even referred me to another company to get a quote on one of the repair options that Swede does not offer. This was so that I could get a very clear idea of what I was looking at, both cost-wise and service-wise. Do not hesitate to use Swede. Five enthusiastic stars for customer service. This is the way all small, family-owed businesses should be run!

He showed up around 1pm almost 2pm. Way before his given time frame which was amazing! Thankfully, this service was fair and also had a duct hose replacement already! Seriously the service was done probably within 30minutes. He even double checked to make sure our dryer was running smooth and no air was being released with the new duct replacement. He even explained how payment works and I love that they had many options, from cash, check, and Zelle. Since their credit card service wasn't working. His service was fair, and respectful.
