I wish I could give Goodfellas a better review. We had a chimney insert installed last fall, and Riley completed everything except for the final facing around the insert. He said he would order the parts and would return to complete the job. After contacting him after New Years to check on when he would return, we never heard anything else. Crickets. read more

Riley and Angel took the time to be so careful with our 1917 parlor stove. It was not an easy clean because of the custom install. Also the top was at a height of 35 feet and the winds kicked up. Paid these guys a lot to stop a leak in my fireplace and install an electric heater in its place. They didn't fix the leak and my $1,200 electric heater got water damaged. Now I'm getting ghosted. No return phone calls or emails from them. read more

I got referred to Goodfellas Chimney Services thru a search on Angi, am glad I did. Was able to get an inspection/cleaning special, had to wait a few days for an appointment because they were slammed (Dec/Jan crush). Noon appointment got delayed a couple of hours, but Riley called ahead to advise or reschedule. Texted their ETA and showed up promptly, COVID compliant with very clean equipment. Assessed/inspected the fireplace top to bottom, and were careful to tarp off any furniture to ensure a clean result. Riley and Angel cleaned/vacuumed out the flue, showed me a couple of features on the fireplace and had some good advice about fireplace care/maintenance. Haven't had the service done yet but still wanted to post a review and will come back to fallow up after the initial work is done. Just wanted people to know that my HOA wants us to have receipts for chimney sweep and dryer vent cleaning by tomorrow. I thought I had another company ready to go but did not have me booked and they're full until Sept. So I began my search for short notice and found two that would squeeze me in but wanted $200 just because I needed it done by tomorrow. Even though they had a spot open anyway. Riley was my last hope and let me tell you he was a goodfella and pulled through. Not only is he coming tomorrow but at the most if my chimney needs to be swept, we only use ceramic logs and only use the fireplace for about a month all year, it's still half as much as what the other places wanted. And if it just need an inspection we're looking at around $50. Can you say, I am pretty ecstatic right now? My four year old daughter did a little goodfellas jig with me, that's how happy I am with them and they haven't even started yet. Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow to Update and let you know what happened. So far I can only say they have helped me out with HOA. But from the other reviews I really have no doubt that they will do exceptional work! read more

They even took pictures to show us the repairs that were needed and also the after pictures to show what was fixed. Couldn't even tell that anything was wrong with it. Riley is professional and was on time for each of our appointments. He was courteous and well spoken. He performed the work in the allotted time and cleaned up after himself. He repaired our crown and replaced the our cap which was also integrated with a top ceiling damper. He saved us going through a more expensive damper repair and with the installment of the top ceiling damper will save us even more on energy costs.
