This place is great. I was shocked to find a good froyo shop in a small town. The new owners are very nice; the toppings are fresh and their non-dairy option today was kiwi strawberry sorbet which tasted light, slightly sweet, and good. At $.45 per oz. in a small town, thats pretty high -- the chic or touristy yogurt shops in SF are usually $.45 per oz with the median price being about $.40. But this is a real gem for the town of Gilroy and we'll be back next time we pass through. Don't forget the stamp card! read more

We tried this yogurt place for the first time today and loved it! Very cute place -- fixed up really nice inside... big screen tv - playing cartoons for the kids, pencil crayons on the tables, for the kids to colour -- they give colouring sheets out to the kids, and then hang up their master piece behind the counter. My kids were VERY impressed with this yogurt shop. My daughter kept saying, "this is WAY better than the one in Morgan Hill!" -- and she loves that one too! So many extra special touches at this place that make it very welcoming, and desirable to stay and hang out for awhile. They had a special going on, where you can buy a gift card at 50% off -- what a DEAL! :) They were staffed with teenagers, that were very polite, and friendly. Four stars only because of how much money I end up spending here....which is purely due to the fact that they are amazing and I want everything! Great yogurt and toppings...plus, every time I come in there is something new or different to try. They definitely keep up a variety. And I can't blame them for charging a little more than Fro Yo...they're a privately owned business and I give them props for opening up! By far the best frozen yogurt establishment in town. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They put a lot of attention into the details of the shop, it is beautiful and extremely clean. There is a television for added entertainment with your dessert. There is also a nice outdoor seating area with a patio heater that they turn on at night. There are fewer flavors to select from than some other competitors, however the quality and taste of the flavors are far superior. The toppings include several fresh fruit options that you can tell are cut fresh daily. All of the other toppings are very fresh. A must try! read more

Went here after a day in Gilroy Gardens. ~8 different flavors and none of them really sounded that good (we all went with chocolate, or vanilla). Yogurts came out on the soft side. Water was provided but tepid. Probably will look somewhere else next time we go to GG read more

Sometimes berries at ice cream/yogurt shops are sour, but I think the staff actually takes the time to taste the product before they put it out, which I really appreciate! I have to say that the owner has really stepped up his game. The owner has responded and read every review. As such he has made incredible changes to the shop. The experience of licking, sucking, lipping, tonguing, slurping, biting, and slowly devouring a yummy frozen yogurt has taken on new heights. Everything was pretty clean. I did not like the small choices they had only like 8 choices and other yogurt places have a bigger selection. Most of the yogurt machines were low and running out. The toppings selection is small. The person who rang us up had no dress code. Jacket and pants. Listening to music with his head phones. Like he was doing his job but he didn't look happy doing it. It made me feel as if I should not be there because if it's so dreadful for him then why am I here lol. The only cool thing there that stood out from other places is coloring books ( they were cheap) most of the coloring supplies were broken. Yoghart is wonderful! Most importantly, the fro yo is excellent. They have a wide variety of toppings and always have a good selection of flavors. I recommend the Dulce de Leche fro yo. The staff here is great and provides good customer service. It's rare to find the kind of customer service this shop offers nowadays. The owners are friendly and always pleasant. The shop is decorated beautifully and is ALWAYS immaculate, a big plus! It's a nice place to go and relax and just hang out. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Stopped by and found the shop is under new ownership, the yogurt is go as it was before. I stopped going there a while back not for the yogurt was not good it was because the old owners treated you like they were better than you. The new owners make you feel like you are at home and not at a mass feeding troof. It is very nice to visit, they seem to have very many regulars for the owner's know most of their customers by their name. 2 thumbs up PS. after your Yogurt you can visit the pet store next to them. read more

By far the cleanest most comfortable yogurt place I've been too! I usually go to froyo but since I can't get strawberry yogurt there anymore I tried it here and I'm glad I came. My three year old loves it, the kind working lady was so nice and welcoming. She even put cartoons on for my daughter . Good toppings and overall great customer service ! This place is great, the owner is very friendly. My daughter is allergic to milk and had a gift card as a reward from this place. When we went in there were not any "Non-dairy" fro yos available which is often the case when we go to places like this. However, what was different was the response which was so pleasant. They asked what her favorite flavor was and promised to put it in the next round for Sunday when they do the switch. My daughter was thrilled that they would make any effort at supplying a non-dairy flavor, she is very often left with no real choices when it comes to fro-yo. We can't wait to go back and give it another try! read more

So many delicious flavors and they change them frequently. So many toppings to choose from and they even added one at my request. Customer service is superb. They always greet us by name! Oh and they also have a stamp card that gives you a free yogurt after so many. We love it and go there all the time. read more

Great place for families! Stopped here after leaving Gilroy Gardens and was happily surprised. Cute place, very clean, able to serve up just the right size for the kids (and me) at a really good price. I got to see the downside of patronizing a Mom-and-Pop froyo store this afternoon, at YoghArt. My son and I had visited this place quite a few times last summer on the way back from our trips down to Gilroy Gardens, and had no complaints. This evening, we walked in, with a gift card we paid for last year (with $9.32 left on it). After putting together our treats and putting them on the scale, we handed over the gift card. The lady behind the counter (I think she was one of the owners -- there was a man behind her whom I think was the other owner), took the gift card, frowned at it, and handed it back to me, telling me they wouldn't honor it. When I asked why, she said they had bought the business in foreclosure earlier this year, and had been trying to get the "word out" -- "we even posted it on Facebook" -- that any previously outstanding gift cards were non-redeemable. Well, I missed that announcement, along with my fellow majority of Americans who are not on Facebook either. I also did not see any posting in the store that gift cards already issued by the business would be denied. My son and I just walked out. While I don't know the specific obligations of a new owner to redeem outstanding gift cards or other liabilities upon change of ownership, again, you couldn't tell what was about to happen when you walked in -- the business name is the same, the signage and physical layout is the same, etc. Seems to me that when you buy a business, and not at least change the name, you get 2 things when it comes to existing customers (and you get these 2 things whether you want them or not, or think you're "in the right" or not) -- any goodwill that may have already accumulated around the business (this is the reason why we strolled in today), and, any liability (like gift cards) that may have also been extended to the customers. And if for whatever reason you don't take the liability? Well, you lose customers. There are enough froyos around that a new owner of such a business needs to look for ways to stand out from the rest, not burn off an existing customer for $9.32 . These owners may have not done anything technically wrong today, but it was a management misstep. We'll pass by this place next time we are coming back from Gilroy Gardens. read more

Been meaning to give this place another try since the last time I visited it was new and they were out of flavors that I wanted. I thought it was just new opening gitters. I've been to tons of yogurt shops since they're all the rage now. The yogurt here is fantastic! Great smooth textures and plenty of different ones to choose from. Love the family atmosphere and you can tell that the kids enjoy the time there. So why the 2 stars you might ask? Well, 1- the kid picking her nose behind the counter like other Yelpers have mentioned it's not very sanitary or appetizing! Everyone knows that kids don't frequently wash their hands so what's in her nose is now on the counter and everything else she touches. YUCK! 2- their machines are usually down again and they were out of chocolate. Huh? Who runs out of chocolate?!?!?! Its a go to flavor for me when all else fails. 3- seating is limited. There is outside seating, but who wants to sit outside when its 100 degrees out? Plus whatever seating is available inside is taken up with their family who visits frequently enough to feel at home there on the couch watching tv. I would have expected them to get their act together by now, guess I was hoping for the best. All in all a good shop, but it could be great. Work should not be a day care center even though you're going for the "family" atmosphere. Just a thought. read more
