Over cooked couldn't bite it too hard

Friday June 6 at 3pm The chicken was over cooked and burned no good needs improvement on the prep cooked I know he saw it he still didn't cared. Needs to be more aware !!

Trashed canned this bad meal, ate Tuna and can of Soup instead!, more satisfied!

This evening we ordered a large teriyaki beef bowl and a large teriyaki chicken bowl. The beef teriyaki was stringy and yet hard to chew and the vegetables were supposedly steamed but tasted raw to me. The chicken bowl had the addition of noodles added to it, and they tasted hard, kind of like chewing some silly putty. I called and spoke to the supposed Manager who said her name was Ashley Forrest , and she did not even attempt to apologize for the poor job her team was doing in the kitchen. I/we will not be ordering from this place again, just not worth it and to show you that we did not eat these dishes just look at the attached photo and see where they ended up. What a waste of money! NOT WORTH IT!!

HOW TO WASTE $40 in 15 min: I tried this place again and was even more dissatisfied. Unbelievable how extensive it is but you get mostly just rice. I don't understand how even Panda Express gives better portions. And I'm not a big fan of Panda Express The tiny round chicken balls are supposed to be Orange Chicken ...smh... they taste like McDonalds nuggets in dipping sauce WTF? They spread about two tablespoons for beef across the rice to make it appear like a sensible portion but when you lift the beef all there is is rice ....crazy The chicken wings are Boneless crunchy nuggets with sauce?????? Why????? They are NOT wings The eggs rolls are not traditional egg roles ... They are Spring Rolls..... This company is deceitful ..... As expensive these bowls are you should at the least get a fair portion of Beef and Chicken I also got a combo meal and all they give is 4 pinky size pieces of teriyaki chicken in a gravy like sauce .....and.... they leave a punch of slimy skin on along with fat ... Not even eatable I had to cook pancakes because my family refused to sit there and eat 5 pounds of rice ...smh... I'm complaining with the BBB

I frequent this spot regularly but my only pet peve is that they don't cook the veggies unless I ask.

---Sad News Folks---…read more It appears that Shogun Sushi has closed its doors due to a kitchen fire. We're told it may reopen, but there are other reports that indicate that's not the case. We're hoping it does reopen, as there was NEVER an argument as to what the premier experience was in the Antelope Valley. By FAR the best quality fish and detail to amazing presentation. So very well done on all accounts. Our best thoughts and prayers to all those affected by this sad event. May they carry on with their high standards and warm hospitality ASAP. Cheers All.

It's a small restaurant with not a whole lot of seats. Usually only 2 servers. It gets really packed so you might wait a bit for service. Their sushi is very traditional. There are no baked rolls or fancy shmancy items. The dynamite is not a roll, but a seafood bake of broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, scallop, shrimp in some kind of mayo sauce. This thing is phenomenal. I dream of it. Secret menu tuna scallop is another of my favorites. The albacore is so soft and tender, it breaks with just my tongue. The ponzu sauce is hand made by the owner and is the best I've ever had. Spicy tuna roll isn't spicy, but still phenomenal. 10/10 stop by!

It was quite a trek to get here. It's in the middle of the west Valley. No easy freeway access…read more There's quite a few businesses in this strip mall. Parking spaces are super tiiiiiiight. I didn't see any ADA parking at all. We were happy with what we got. Pork belly with umami gravy bowl and added 4 pc "eggroll" aka lumpia. It was really 2 lumpia cut in half. I probably should have ordered a full side but it was a perfect amount. Lumpia was super crispy on the outside. Very flavorful without being overly garlicky or seasoned. Came with sweet chili sauce. Chicken longanisa. It said ground chicken so I was expecting crumbled meat. It was formed into a patty. Very tender and delicious. Also served on rice with egg over easy, scallions and pickled vegetable. Since it was our first time here I got the two bun combo with pork belly and angus burger. Pork belly had a little kick in the sauce. The bao bun was a nice compliment so it wasn't too spicy. 2 slices of cucumber also in the bun to help cut the spice. The angus burger had a creamy mayo sauce with sautéed mushrooms and half cooked onions. Not what I expected but definitely would get again. The side of fries were thin, crispy and very well seasoned. There's not a lot of counter service. You order at a machine. I had to wait because I wanted a printed receipt. As far as I could see, only 2 people working. They brought our food to the table and that guy was very nice and cordial as we asked for a few more things. No one was eating there. Saw about 3 people order take out. Plenty of tables and a picnic table for seating. I definitely loved the wall decor and the clock was my favorite! They had Chinese, Korean and Japanese on the wall. I didn't see any Tagalog where I was sitting but I think that's the main Asian influence.

The boys and I were driving around for a bit to see what we wanted for lunch so I pulled over to…read morepull out the nifty Yelp app to see what was close by. We decided on Oi Asian which had great reviews, so why not. First off, let me say that there is plenty of parking, however, the parks are extremely narrow for some reason. It was a struggle to get in and out of the car due to the width of the parks smh. Anyway, once we got inside, there wasn't anyway at the register and after standing there for a while, I noticed the kiosk so unplaced my order there. There were only two cooks in the back. We placed our order and sat down. The place was clean but everything seemed like it was do it yourself. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. At one point I had to get up and grab my own fork by reaching over the counter. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good! I ended up eating theirs because my oldest son didn't like it, which was great for me lol. My youngest and I tore that bowl up. Anyway, the verdict is, I may search around for other options but I know that if I can't find anything else I can always grab a chicken adobo bowl but the service was pretty nonexistent. That chicken adobo bowl saved it. OOO 3 out of 5
