This branch never fails to disappoint me. The fries are fresh, not overly greasy, and were deliciously crisp/soft just how I like it. I am very thankful that they also fill the fries containers more than other branches. The wait at the order drop-off menu was longer than the rest of the process (ordering, paying) but the food quality really delivered and is worth it. The burgers were great quality and the customizations of my group order were followed perfectly. Every bit as good as any other in n out. Coming from California I am an unapologetic biased burger believer over here. I have had many a burger in my lifetime and in n out is the balance for a fast food burger that no other business model can successfully emulate. The speed of preparation and delivery with the consistency and quality and combined with the level of ingredients value and quality is unmatched. Other rivals are using tricks and have balance issues.... Another burger joint may have super meaty patty's and other stuff like peanuts on the floor but they have trash veg and are greasy. Other places may have cool options like sourdough buns and some other thin fry's but they also don't have the veg or the fresh of the flat top gristle. You can't do it and it shows... in n out FTW, no questions and not hearing anyone's argument against it because irrelevant. This particular location has a plague of issue with parking and of course same as other in n out that so many people coming that it makes a traffic issue! Big props to Camila Ji who offered amazing customer service with a beautiful smile and to Austin who was pleasant and friendly and greeted us with doors opened for us and inside. I used to be a fan of In-N-Out, but unfortunately it's just not the same anymore. Prices keep going up while portions has getting smaller. The burger patties are noticeably thinner, and overall the quality of the food has gone downhill compared to what it used to be. For what you're paying now, it doesn't feel worth it. I've given it multiple chances, but it's consistently disappointing. At this point, I don't see myself going back to In-N-Out again. I'd much rather spend my money at The Habit. Better quality, better value, and overall a better choice in my opinion. read more

The parking lot and drive through layout here (like many In N Out locations) can get overwhelmed quickly. Carefully enter the parking lot and don't be afraid to park to the left/away from the entrance to avoid getting stuck behind the drive through line. The logistical issues in the parking lot are really the main drawback to this location. Even if you don't want to eat there, go inside to order. Employees work tirelessly to keep things moving and keep the interior clean. Both times my orders came out quickly and correctly. Food here is the same as every other In N Out. That consistency is what I love about it and the value is incredible. Always go for animal style on the burger. If you must get fries (and usually I'd say just skip em), don't get them animal style and I recommend getting them "extra well done" and getting some In N Out sauce for dipping. read more

First ever bad experience at in n out. The person that took my order was super rude for no reason. I have always got my food to go in a bag. I've never in my life ordered to eat in my car. I received an open box for my food and they refused to box or bag it for me. My flying Dutchman's that I asked to be wrapped in onions had barely any onions to wrap it. The receipt was legit in my cheese as well as my napkins. What a joy it was pulling napkins out of my burgers. Also it was raining outside so I was even more pumped to have the rain get all over my burgers. For waiting a half an hour in line, this was far from tolerable. Ah, In N Out, the must-have fast food restaurant when visiting California. I miss this chain and yes, I will argue with anyone who tells me there's better, because there isn't. Now why the 4 stars since I'm obsessed? Well, we visited this particular restaurant in Lancaster...if you know, you know. The staff are all nice but this particular visit, our order was wrong. Instead of a cheeseburger animal style, we received a double double hamburger animal style and missing fries. Now, I'm not complaining about an extra patty, this was more about my step-mom complaining about not wanting it. So my dad and I shared it after stuffing our faces with our other double doubles (and of course, he bought her another cheeseburger animal style...happy wife happy life). The restaurant was a little dirty inside and definitely needed a freshen up. But man, nothing beats that fresh off the airplane In-N-Out double double cheeseburger animal style with well done fries meal! And for that, I give it 4 stars (though it kind of deserved 3). Always a treat - but today I wanted to give a shout out to an employee who was going above and beyond (yes, I know - they do that a lot here!). When I arrived, there were 3-4 empty tables and a booth - sparkling clean, wiped down, floors swept - it was about 12:45 pm on a Saturday and getting busy, so I was pleasantly surprised. Grabbed a booth and waited for daughter, son-in-law and grandkids. Watched this amazing woman just take charge of the whole dining room with a dish rag, picking up trays and trash, wiping down the tables AND SEATS!!! Watched her for 45 minutes - she was right there for all the customers, taking trays, getting high chairs, wiping high chairs down - I had to compliment her and get her name and picture because her efforts deserve to be recognized. So, here's to a hard working woman who cares about her job - RUTH CHAVEZ - at In-n-Out, #79, Palmdale - the entire staff was great, too - you can tell they feel valued! First off, In-N-Out is the gold standard of burger joints. Food has a high strict quality of a clairvoyant standard. This Palmdale Blvd location is pretty good. As for flavor it's good, a solid 4. Yeah it's not a bad rating. The In-N-Out on Seaward Ave in Ventura is the gold standard for flavor and Ambiance. Service here is fast and friendly, i recommend the Animal Style Fries with extra Animal. If any burger chain can top this, they definitely need to get their life choices in check. This is Mt Rushmore of standard. Now that being said, Palmdale Blvd is a good location. Busy but quick to serve, one gentleman working was really cool to kids who were excited to experience a once in a life time burger to start their journey of goodness. If you can't smell the fries cooking, tell them to turn it up. read more

I came to in and out burger around the beginning of lunch. I ordered the number 2 and I quickly made short work of it. I was so hungry. When I was finished eating I was just chilled hanging out enjoying some A/C and suddenly a friendly staff member came up to me and gently asked if I was finished eating so she can assist me in discarding my trash. A woman aggressively sped through the parking lot within feet of me around a blind corner- she could have hit someone. I walked over to make sure everything was okay and it was an employee. She got super rude and catty, as if I was the crazy one speeding through a packed parking lot. I wanted to warn the manager, as a family member and I have been struck by an erratic driver in a parking lot before and people that drive like this put others at risk. I spoke to the manager (Mike) and he said he'd talk with her. As I waited for my friend to finish in the restroom, the employee that drove erratically goes "oh, there she is!", comes to the terminal closest to me, and begins shouting at me asking if I like her turbo (CRINGE). When I looked at her like the lunatic she was acting like, she continues "yes or no?? Yes or no??" At this point I just say "real professional. girl, you are at work." At which point she looked like she may have had a slight shred of self awareness, then the manager finally got her to be quiet and tells her to come to the back for a talk. This was by far the most uncomfortable dining experience I have ever had in my life! And if any larger entity that cares more than Mike does about the disruptive behavior of his employees is reading this, check the cameras around 11:15-11:20 outside. Then everything that follows is inside. This in n out appears to be ran as poorly as that woman drives! Hope her and Mike have the day they deserve. read more

While in the AV to once again take care of my driver's license extension at the DMV, this meant lunch afterwards. My wife wanted In-N-Out. And even though I had just visited our local chain on last week, this would be a first time trying them in Palmdale. The only reason for not giving a 5 Star review would be due to my somewhat watered down lemonade. Our orders of a cheeseburger combo and her usual double protein lettuce wrap were superb. Iceberg lettuce that seemed a bit more chilled and crunchy than most other In-N-Outs really made a difference. Not that other locations don't offer extremely fresh and crunchy lettuce, they do. Their's just tasted even better. And not being a fan of their fries in the past, In-N-Out has stepped up their game in that department of late. Now quite comparable to most any other burger joint. Very friendly and helpful staff too. A warm greeting at the door being held open for us on arrival. And only the second location I've been to where they practically insist on clearing everything from the table when you're done. And with a sincere smile while they're doing it. They rank 4.5 Stars in my book. I'm baffled by their low overall Yelp rating. read more

You can never really go wrong with In-N-Out, and this location (in Palmdale, California) is no different. I have had an excellent experience every time I have visited this location, with each time worthy of a 4-Star or a 5-Star rating. As with all In-N-Out locations, this place is almost always packed. I've read a few other reviews by people that are upset with the long lines, and I get perplexed. Heck guys, this is not McDonald's. The quality of the food is noticeably better, and most people can taste the difference (thus the company motto, "Quality you can taste"). Due to this, In-N-Out almost has a cult-like following, and it's understandable. My bet is that this location probably serves five times the number of customers that the McDonald's does across the street on an average day. The layout at this In-N-Out is better than several other locations because it's newer and they've anticipated the high volume of customers. Similarly, the drive-thru line rarely goes all the way back to the main street (Palmdale Blvd), as it does at some other older locations. The inside dining area here was also well thought-out, and it is always clean and well maintained. Another advantage at this location is the employees. Although the friendliness and professionalism of employees at all In-N-Out locations is excellent, this location seems to be better than most. The employees here seem to be happier, and enjoy working here. This makes a noticeably better experience for their customers. The following are two of the examples that stand out as five-star experiences that I recently had. On one occasion, I was enjoying my lunch here alone while an employee was making his way around the dining area, cleaning it. He stopped what he was doing and sincerely asked about my day, and asked if I was enjoying my meal. I was amazed at how thoughtful and considerate this young man was to think about just one customer, especially when I know he was already busy. On another occasion, I made a stop here for dinner through the drive-thru. Immediately after departing, I noticed that the young lady working the drive thru had made a subtle error in my order, and I walked back in to get it corrected. After I explained the error, she quickly accepted that she had made a mistake and apologized, without any excuses. To correct the error and make up for the mistake, she then gave me my corrected order for free, in addition to the incorrect order that I paid for...Wow! This young lady really knows customer service! In summary, this place is awesome. The management and the staff here really know what they are doing. They understand customer service and they consistently deliver high-quality meals. I'll be back, again and again. read more
