The initial response was, literally one word, 'yes,' about availability. I responded back to verify the full day price. The one word response, '20.' At that point, I let them know that I was looking for more info, more words and maybe just a more welcoming or at least a more communicative response. Their reply was that they answered my questions and if I asked them more they would tell me. I asked about the low all day price and they said they could charge more but choose to keep it affordable. That's a great thing as long as the time and patience and care for dogs is adequate. I have no indication of any patience, any attention to detail, or any interest in caring for my dog. Anyway, maybe this is a great place. I'm just not comfortable with the bare minimum and poor communications, especially from the start.

When we arrived I warned Lindsey we have not been away from our baby boy and I was probably going to bug her to check on him, Lindsey was understanding and gave me a tour and lots of reassurance so we trusted her to keep our pup happy. Without asking Lindsey sent us pics of our pup playing with the other dogs having so much fun and it made me enjoy our trip without worrying. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. She claimed to be a dog trainer but had no actual credentials or experience - the dog training she provided was not helpful or effective and I felt very unwelcome in her presence. She yelled at my dogs, spanked them when they misbehaved and gave my daughters a lot an attitude for trying to be involved. Unfortunately we had her do reverse boarding with our two pups one weekend, and after reviewing our security footage we found that she did almost nothing to take care of our animals but instead smoked marijuana and drank beer with her husband who somehow also stayed at our house the entire time. She was expensive, not worth the money and made our animals feel frightened.
