Took my dogs there for their first amd only time staying at a kennel. The inside was like the Stanislaus County shelter- doggie jail- dogs constantly barking so d lunging against their kennels. The "grass " they get to have outdoor time on is fake grass, probably super hot from the sun. :( also, my dogs got kennel cough immediately following their stay. I've been going to the Riverbank location for a while for my dog to get groomed. I decided to take my puppy and was told he would get a trim/bath and it would be between $40-$45 on my receipt it shows I paid $55 for the puppy and $55 for my other dog so I'm not to happy with the price for my puppy since I was told he wouldn't get a full groom. My older dog came out looking adorable as ever so I'm really glad for that because he's a rough outside dog so he was dirty. My puppy however came out looking funny and I'm so unhappy with whatever was done to his head and face. All I can do is laugh. Now I'm not sure if I should return because for $55 it was DEFINITELY not worth it. He looks scary almost. I'll post before and after pics of my pup just to show what I mean. read more

Worst kennel ever. They have no staff at all on prem from 7 pm to 7 am. If something happens to your dog or if they get hurt no one is there. Your dog could die with the lack of care they give. I would never recommend this horrible place for anyone's dog. I've had better care at petsmart pet hotel and that's a huge company. You would think a small local business would care more. I boarded my Akita here while my family was out on vacation. We received progress reports that included pictures on how he was doing. It was such an important reassurance to the entire family to see those because we missed him, but we were able to see that he was happy and doing good. They were also able to squeeze him in a grooming appointment during his stay that was not scheduled. I appreciate the team working with us to get my dog taken care of. read more

Very professional and great at what they do, also very affordable for what they offer. Every time we have had to go out of town we board our dog there and she comes back happy and clean! The facility is extremely clean and well-maintained, the staff is very friendly and seems very knowledgeable. We just came back into town and, due to a small emergency, we had to stay a day late and they kept our dog an extra day no questions asked. Also the owner is an accomplished member of the dog show community and you can tell that her dedication to animals extends throughout her business as well. Whether you are needing boarding or grooming services they are def the place to go. Our dog Posey loves it there! Its like a dog resort. I've used them for years and was always happy until this last visit. I was overcharged. $75 for a dog that weighs 7 lbs?! It's winter and I asked them not to shave my dog, just a bath, clean up his stomach area, inside of his ears but he came back to me fully shaved and they charged me an additional $20 for it. I asked about the additional charge and the groomer came out. She was confrontational when asked about the extra charges. She told me he was difficult. I've been going to this groomers for years, I've never had an issue with the groomer, vet, any one but now he's difficult? He's mostly blind and deaf and he's 16. They didn't take that long at all, they send me updates when she is checked in, ready for pick up, and when she's checked out with receipt (email and texts) which I love! I love the fast updates. We have used Noble Kennels for a couple of years; we recently boarded our dog for 23 days at an agreed cost of just over $900 dollars. Upon returning we asked about a $15 charge that had been added to his stay for dropping off a few minutes early. My wife attempted to get an explanation. She returned to the kennel and was told by the owner that they had explained it before and that my wife just has a "bad memory." Really? A few weeks later we called for a reservation for a weekend; we were told that we could not because we had "disputed" the charges we would no longer be allowed to board our dog at Noble Kennels, pending a staff discussion and decision! Our account had been put on "hold." Really? After a time, not hearing back, I went to the kennel to see if a "decision" had been made. I was told that they had made a decision to allow us to board our dog once again at the Noble Kennels and had left a message on our phone, we had not received a message! I told the young lady at the counter, it doesn't matter, have found a different kennel for our dog and would no longer use Noble Kennels. Oh yeah, we had always received glowing reports about our dog at Noble Kennels and how much the staff liked him, even though he did try to jump the fence, which we were never told about until now, though she said they had reported that to us. The owner's comment was again attributed to my wife's "poor memory"! We have always lived in Oakdale, born and raised. We have always tried to conduct our business locally to support our community. However, we have never been treated so unprofessionally as per our experience at Noble Kennels. Apparently, questions are not allowed! read more

I just picked up my dogs, Duke and Daisy, from Noble Kennels today. At other kennels in the past, other dogs of mine have come out super depressed, and stay that way for days. Duke and Daisy were bright-eyed and playful. The staff there were very friendly and assured me that I was welcome to call and check on them as often as I'd like during our trip. They made a point of telling me at pick up how sweet the dogs were and it was clear that they really care for the animals they're boarding, and not just collecting a paycheck. My fur girls love Noble! My Ruby goes to doggy daycare and is so pampered that she is almost sad to go home. Every morning we bring her she gets ecstatic and practically opens the door to let herself in. Noble has been so wonderful when we need to kennel our dogs, and they even give me updates because I'm a nervous dog mom. We also love their grooming! I have used Noble Kennel's boarding services for several years now when I go out of town. Never had a problem until this recent visit. I made a reservation nearly 3 months in advance for Memorial Day weekend (it is a yearly trip, and I always board my dogs for this holiday weekend), and when I made my reservation I told the gentleman on the phone that I would like to pick my dogs up on the Monday (Memorial Day). Reservation was made, no problem. HOWEVER, about 1 month prior to my reservation date, Noble Kennels called me and said that they are now going to be closed on Memorial Day, and that I would either have to pick up my dogs on Sunday, or pay for an extra night and pick them up Tuesday. For the past 4 years, I have picked them up on MONDAY MEMORIAL DAY. This would not have been a problem if I was told this up front when making the reservation, but this was not the case. I spoke with the manager, and she told me they "always" close on Memorial Day, which is not true. They blamed it on the system "not being updated." I asked if they would be willing to work with me and give me a free night since I was not told about this up front, and they declined. I am very disappointed with the way this situation was handled, and therefore they have now lost a longtime customer. read more

They turned us away on a Friday at 5:45 because, even though our dogs had all their shots, we administered the Bordetella ourselves. Every other kennel was full and said they would take them if they weren't full. No other Kennell has had a problem with owner administered Bordetella. They were inflexible and would not make an exception or help us in any way. We were really screwed by this kennel. We had all our vaccinations! Our vet confirmed we had all the vaccinations up to date. By turning us away after we had a reservation they lost integrity. read more

These folks do a FANTASTIC job on all four of my dogs which range in size and breed from small Bichon mix all the way up to Golden Retriever. My dogs always leave Noble Kennels looking beautiful and happy. They do such good work that my sister now travels all the way from Ripon to have her special needs dog groomed here. Not only are they good with our family dogs who actually ENJOY going there, they are extremely generous to the homeless pets of the community as well. Noble Kennels has provided free grooming and even temporary housing to many of the ASTRO FOUNDATION foster dogs and Oakdale Animal Shelter dogs. Alina even fosters some of these pets herself in her own home. These folks are conscientious, hard-working, very good at what they do, and strong supporters of the community. Now I'm reviewing the Luxury Doggie Hotel. I dropped off my fur babies ( this was the first time away from home without momma) on Saturday morning. The staff was very sincere about making them feel at home, and listened and took notes on their feeding schedule. The rooms are very nice( all are being updated to beautiful tile and security screen doors so your fur babies can see). I was so glad when I forgot their beds, they gave them blankets to sleep on. After taking my dog to pet perfection and had a terrible experience, the with the lady being rude, they were very rough with him, I didn't like the hair cut, noticed they cut dogs hair without cleaning the others first, I finally decided to try this place out 4 months later! I had to evacuate from my home in Santa Rosa due to wildfires. I went to stay with friends in Oakdale, CA who have 3 dogs. I used Noble Kennels to board my evacuated cats for the week I stayed with my friends. Everyone at Noble was fantastic! Each of my cats had his own "condo" and was given attention by the staff. The staff even encouraged me to call back to see how they were doing, since they (the cats) were pretty frazzled by the evacuation ordeal and the trip to Oakdale. With kind care they were settled by the next day. When I picked them up to return home there was NO CHARGE for their boarding since it was due to the evacuation. I was referred to Noble Kennel by my mom and my sister who take and have taken their dogs to Noble. Tucker has been to Noble both for grooming and day care. I like Adrian's schnauzer cut and Tucker always seems happy when I pick him up from day care. Unfortunately over time the quality slipped. Another groomer started grooming Tucker and she cut him in a least two places every time. He also started shaking and running around the car every time I took him for grooming. There has also been several front desk staff changes in the year and a half we patronized Noble. Sadly, I've had to find another groomer. *Pricing is competitive with other grooming establishments. read more
