Man...it has been so hard to find trustworthy groomers that are good to my baby and do a job well done but Bobby and Sara(h) are AMAZING!!!! I've been taking my boy here for a year and a half and could never take him anywhere else!! Their quality has truly been unmatched, and for the price...absolutely unbeatable. They set the bar so high. I love that they don't over-schedule and crowd their shop with animals; it gives me and my boy so much peace of mind. I have an Australian Shepherd and am very particular about his hair cut and styling and this team are truly so knowledgeable and have perfected their craft. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the amount of time they take....im used to grooming taking all afternoon or morning. They make miracles happen in 60-90 mins!!! It blows my mind every time. I brought my pup here for the first time a couple weeks ago after i was in a really bad car accident and couldn't groom her myself anymore. My 65 pound shepherd is afraid of everything and everyone, but Bobby and Sarah were very understanding. They were patient with her and Caliber warmed up to Sarah pretty quick, not so much Bobby but he's not giving up on her. She came home squeaky clean with a smile on her face. We had tried Noble Kennels in Riverbank before and it was not a good experience. just from the phone call to schedule to rescheduling, everything with Allegro's was 1000 times better than dealing with Noble Kennels. Allegro's is a lot farther from my house, but worth it for the service we get! read more

Bobby is incredible. Not only was he patient and understanding when we were ~very~ late for our appointment, but he made my Princess look and feel brand new. Anyways my dad found this place when he was walking our dog around town & he liked it because my dog usually waters from his eyes too much (Shih-Tzu) but he hates when we touch his face especially around his eyes. We would take him to petco before but it was not the same. He still had trouble & every-time we would pick him up he seemed kind of depressed & his eyes were not the best. At allegro he was shaved & he loved it! The next time we went we took him for a full groom & he loves it! He looks so cute & he comes back with energy! I even told my brother to bring his dog Odie (kenais sibling) he loves it as well. He use to have problems at Petco too to the point where they said they wouldn't accept him but here he is calm & happy! At petco they take up to like 6 hours here he was done in 2 hrs at most! Today i brought three of my my little dogs just for a pedicure and my daughter came and brought her little pug . I had gone about 4 wks prior with my Senior pug whom is 13 with hip dysplasia, arthritus, and collapsed trachea. I had talked with the owner and told him about his conditions on the phone. He assured me thay Vinnie would sit on his lap. When i went in first time he was friendly and sat Vinnie on his lap and did a wonderful job. I was delighted because Vinnie dislikes his nails trimmed as well as my other dogs. Anyway, I raved to my Daughter how great he was etc. Her pug is terrified getting his nails trimmed. I assured her hes great. Well what a difference this time round. I wish to give the owner no STARS for his horrific service and animal abuse. My daughter entered before me while i was parking. I entered and she said he grabbed Rocky without asking any info or history on dog , his name , etc . Had a violent Tv show blarring in treatment room . in a complete rush etc. Handled her pug extremely rough . Than comes grabs my Senior pug that i thought he remeberd? Doesnt say hello etc . rushes in back Tv blarring. I turn my head for a few minutes talking to my Daughter about how the owner seems like a different person . Told her sorry etc. I turn and see he had my Vinnie with lasso collar around his neck pulled up. I banged on glass yelling as he could not hear becase of Tv Blarring. Banged loud and yelled he has a collapsed trachea. He looked at me then grabbed his back legs up in air and made him use his two fromt legs. He has major leg issues and cant stand like that. Again i banged on glass said What are you doing? Complete Animal Abuse. He then sat down with big attitude and finished. Vinnie started to scream at times cuz he was going to short. I yelled to him that i was here 4 wks ago and he just needs touch up . He took a lot last time. I was reluctant to have him do my other two but now i made it clear they had to be done sitting on his lap. They are pug mix and Flat nose breeds have trachea issues etc. Last, i told him how upset i was with the way he treated the animals. Completely in a rush! I didnt even get a chance to tell him again about Vinnie or my Daughter didnt get to tell him about how scared Rocky was not to put him in a pulled lasso leash etc. No interest in dogs name or ours. I told him last time was a wonderful treatment. This time was animal abuse and he treated us like cattle. Im so sorry i put my babbies thru such a horrible experience. I could never imagine leaving my loved one in his care. The Violent Blarring Tv in treatment room freaked me out ! Cant imagine how a scared animal feels and with his compmete toxic enegy touching in a non caring way. Not to mention , hes a Owner Groomer who has no education about certain breeds of dogs are prone to collapsed tracheas. A harness is always used never a collar and especially a cheap lasso collar. We dont need Businesses like this in Oakdale. Especially if you dont live in this community (like tbe owner doesnt) we dont need outsiders giving our community horrible care and a bad name to Oakdale especially if your going to come here and run a business here. Oakdale is a community that loves and respects animals and doesnt tolerate Animal Abuse. read more

As it sometimes happens, our dog got a few mats over the rainy season that we just couldn't get out. We took him in to allegros pet spa yesterday. It's a small location but completely adequate for what they do. We were greeted immediately and I could tell fizzy felt totally comfortable there. They did a phenomenal job for a great price and we will definitely be back. read more
