In my opinion you should always ask if whom ever is grooming your precious angel is properly trained. This groomer sold me on her extensive training & experience with the Schnauzer breed. She was polite & got back to me promtly. When I told her it was a giant schnauzer puppy & this would be her very first grooming, she again assure me of her ability to be the best and referenced other groomers as being alot like a barber and they usually di a petco shave down..... But not her!!! She takes into consideration their confirmation their size & adjust the grooming to be show/ true to the breeds cut. Well I have to say since this is my first schnauzer she showed me exactly what she meant about confirmation size and all that professional mumbo jumbo. Long story short... she did a great job the 1st time and charged me 75.00 and I gave her 100.00 dollar bill and she didn't say thank you for the $25 tip. The next time I called it took two and a half weeks to get into her and She Did Exactly what she said all the other groomers do....SHE HACKED my dog down. I was so disappointed. She didn't seem concerned with anything that I had to say nor did she see that she did anything different. When my granduaghter went to pay her she had asked for the change back time. She turned to her and said: She wants her $5 back??? YES I DO! So when I spoke to her on the phone she said her fee was $95???? WAIT, She charges less for a good grooming & more for a bad one??? Her response to my disatisfaction was this: it would be unfair to "her" to refund my money becuase she did bath & clip my dog???? & best wishes on finding a groomer that you'll be happy with...WHAT?? I guess you can say that a resturant is only as their last meal and a groomer is only as good as her last groom. read more
