It's in the middle of July and extremely hot, keep in mind he is an adult fluffy Maine Coon breed cat, so we felt terrible he was so anxious and we were just trying to keep him cool. By GRACE of the angels, We went by Ruff House where we have gone to groom our dog before and DENISE was SO incredibly calming, reassuring, and helped out in a pinch!!! Especially to my mom, she even knew her by name as well as our pets!! Now that's 1,000 star customer service. She is the SWEETEST lady and her team just loves ours and others animals and you can tell. Not to mention she trimmed his matted belly with a couple helpers in RECORD time! And everyone left so happy! Her and her team are the absolute best in the area and we must put our trust into employees that are animal lovers and not just there for your money but because they love what they do and they care for their life, because these are our fur babies we love. She has been and IS an absolutely darling and a life saver! Not to mention everytime our dog gets a bath there she has the prettiest bows on her collar and she's happy she feels clean and fancy! Not only did she help out today, but she also recommended another Vet after our experience that is known for taking VERY good care of animals so we will now be going there for all of our pets shots, any health concerns, or anything or that matter, and I couldn't be more happy or feel more safe! Thank you so much Denise for helping my family and animals not only get taken care of and groomed exquisitely on this hot day, but to recommend a wonderful new vet that is nearby and has great feedback from customers really does mean the world and makes us feel so much more safe and at ease! I can't wait to come see you when it is our pup Belle's bath time and get to admire her pretty bows. You are the so gifted, an animal and whisperer, and the BEST! We love you!

Really wanted to stick to the local spots but this place rubbed my family the wrong way. They have…read morecameras all over the place, inside the exam rooms. I get why, that's not the issue. The issues are.. one they won't accept shots given from tractor supply because they didn't witness them given $$, (okayyyyy) 2. there's a whole APPLICATION process! You have to be "accepted" as patients! 3. On top of it, you mention ask for a military discount, the lady with the tattoo on the back of her neck that appears to be running the front end looks at you sideways and says, "well we would have to give the elderly discounts too at that point!" The place had bird poop all over the front entry way on the outside. Make sure you know it will be a "trial appointment" your first visit there to see if you are a good fit for them as patients. 4. They also charge you an administration fee every time you go! Never heard of that before! 5. expect a good wait in the smallish waiting area with your dog. We don't recommend this facility with the gravel parking lot and rude lady upfront. Jasmin was very kind, but the other lady... We took our kittens to Sierra Veterinary Care today, and I can honestly say it was one of the best…read moreexperiences we've had at a vet clinic. Dr. Whitman took his time with us and never made us feel rushed, even with all of our questions and concerns. What stood out most was how kind and engaging he was with our daughters, who both dream of becoming veterinarians. He spent time talking with them, answering their questions, and making them feel included. They left absolutely thrilled. This is exactly what you hope to find in a small-town veterinary clinic: personal, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Highly recommend them!

I became a patient at Sierra Vet back in 2018ish. I was previously with another vet in the area -…read moreand they failed my dog and caused his kidney failure, this information was provided to me when he was lethargic and I was instructed to take him to Sierra Vet because my vets couldn't get him in. The vet showed me the surgical records and the blood work taken when I brought him in and where the medication interactions were, they did all they could but my little dude didn't make it. When I got new pets I brought them to Sierra Vet for their needs. My husky was their next patient and when she had sudden eye issues they got her in right away and provided the best care, she ended up with an enucliation of the right eye. For the past 5 years they have done preventative care on her remaining eye as well as referring her to a specialist. She has beat most odds and kept her eye much longer than most with her condition. Unfortunately she presented eye problems Monday and they got her in asap. They treat her well and even though vets stress her out. She does well with the staff when we have to do a drop off appointment. We take all our pets there now. I fully reccomend them for any of your Vet needs.

We didn't let my doggie stay here. We reached out and asked about availability and price and…read morementioned our doggie and type (lab) and shared a little about him. The initial response was, literally one word, 'yes,' about availability. I responded back to verify the full day price. The one word response, '20.' At that point, I let them know that I was looking for more info, more words and maybe just a more welcoming or at least a more communicative response. Their reply was that they answered my questions and if I asked them more they would tell me. I asked about the low all day price and they said they could charge more but choose to keep it affordable. That's a great thing as long as the time and patience and care for dogs is adequate. I have no indication of any patience, any attention to detail, or any interest in caring for my dog. Anyway, maybe this is a great place. I'm just not comfortable with the bare minimum and poor communications, especially from the start.
