Super busy and unfortunately have shown they enough business to keep us. Sadly a lot of vet offices are now becoming very profit driven, and we feel like they weren't flexible in estimates requested before hand, even though that was the system prior. We invested $ into this business quite a bit and I'm hoping others have a better experience than has occurred for us. Becky is a very kind vet and we appreciate the service rendered.

I've always known this vet was expensive, but I had a lot of faith in them since they saved a little dog of my years ago. Two years ago I had an experience where I brought a kitten in that they told me had feline leukemia which was a death sentence and that I should just put her to sleep. I argued for her and said I had a cat years ago who lived almost 23 years with feeling leukemia and no today it wasn't necessarily a death sentence. I took her over to a different vet who tested her and said she did not have it. This was two years ago. today she is not only alive but beautiful and funny and sweet and my other four cats have never been sick.

If you care about your pet avoid this place. They dont care about your pet, only the bottom line $$$$$. Refused to give me 1 heart worm pill today, as i usually buy monthly, because my dog was due for his annual checkup. They couldn't get him in for 3 weeks ! Twice we brought him home after shots and bloodwork only having to return because of the silver dollar size hematoma on his neck requiring cold compresses, poor thing is a tiny Chihauha. These people are very rough. The girl behind the counter was very rude today and asked to see a Vet and was told they were on there 3 hour lunch. The "manager" came out and fixed nothing, she was also rude. Its not hard to make the leap what kind of treatment your pet will get or the quality of the veterinarians. We dropped Finn off for a few hours one day for vaccinations and when we got him back he was soaked in urine. Every time i have been in there the girls out front have changed and there is a high turnover.....the quality of the new hires is going downhill fast. We now have a new vet. STAY AWAY.

I really don't know what to say about Sierra Veterinary Care other than they are some of the greatest people I have ever met. During our 4th of July vacation my service dog broke out in a serious case of hives. Prior to the vet visit I tried everything to get the situation under control. The itching and pain was causing her to cry at times, so I knew it was getting very uncomfortable. At that time we were staying in a campground out past Groveland, which was 45 minutes away. When we arrived at Sierra Veterinary Care they took her in right away. When we returned later to pick her up the hives were gone, and she was ready to go. I want to thank the staff for the care and understanding. LeiLei is doing much better now thanks to them.

Sierra Veterinary Care always provides compassionate care for my fur babies. I just had to put my precious boy Bentley to sleep and SVC staff were very sensitive to our difficult situation. Despite being a very busy veterinary practice, they allowed me as much time as I needed to spend with my poor little Bentley. They did not rush me. They were very caring. I really appreciate all the staff at Sierra Veterinary Care. Thank you so much! You are ALL very special!

Sierra Vet let me come in immediately even though they had never seen my dog and were so kind and compassionate.

I usually don't leave reviews (unless my experience at a place was well enough to leave one) but I…read morethought this emergency vet clinic deserved one. Around 8pm on march 21st my cat started having trouble breathing and she started convulsing. She wasn't breathing until my brother would shake her to start breathing again. We rushed her to this emergency clinic but she sadly passed away in my brothers arms in the car just two minutes from the clinic. The team was fantastic. One of the members there who took my cat to the back let us stay there for as long as I needed and didn't judge me for crying loudly. My mother paid $600 in total for my beloved cat to be cremated and to have a clay print of her paws which in my opinion is a great price. About a week(ish) later we got to pick up her ashes and the clay print we were promised and I believe the team went above and beyond. I received a card with the team's signatures and a certificate of cremation.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother's dog received at this clinic…read more We brought her in because she was actively vomiting, suffering from diarrhea, and unable to keep down food or water. Despite being fully aware of her condition, the clinic sent her home with oral medications that she was unable to keep down. No IV fluids were provided, and her condition worsened significantly the following day, forcing us to seek care elsewhere. To make matters worse, we later learned that the dosage of medication she was sent home with appeared inappropriate for her small size. As pet owners, we trusted that the medications and dosages being prescribed were safe and appropriate. Learning that there were concerns about the dosage only added to our worry and frustration. What is most frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability. We were under the impression that certain treatments had been provided, only to later discover discrepancies in what was actually administered. We have also been told after the fact that hospitalization was recommended, but that was never clearly communicated to my mother during the visit. Had she been properly informed that her dog's condition was serious enough to require hospitalization, she would have taken immediate action. When we sought a second opinion, we were advised that injectable anti-nausea medication, antibiotics, and supportive care should have been considered given the symptoms our dog was experiencing. Instead, she was sent home with oral medication despite being unable to keep anything down. We attempted to resolve our concerns directly and professionally with the clinic before sharing our experience publicly. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging our concerns, our request for a refund was denied. Pet owners trust veterinary clinics during some of the most stressful moments imaginable. We expected compassionate care, clear communication, and appropriate treatment. Instead, we were left with a much sicker dog, significant emotional distress, and additional veterinary expenses to address issues that we believe should have been handled appropriately from the beginning. I encourage anyone considering this clinic to ask detailed questions, request copies of all treatment records, and carefully review the care plan and medications being recommended for their pet.
