What stood out most was how kind and engaging he was with our daughters, who both dream of becoming veterinarians. The vet showed me the surgical records and the blood work taken when I brought him in and where the medication interactions were, they did all they could but my little dude didn't make it. When I got new pets I brought them to Sierra Vet for their needs. My husky was their next patient and when she had sudden eye issues they got her in right away and provided the best care, she ended up with an enucliation of the right eye. For the past 5 years they have done preventative care on her remaining eye as well as referring her to a specialist. She has beat most odds and kept her eye much longer than most with her condition. Unfortunately she presented eye problems Monday and they got her in asap. They treat her well and even though vets stress her out. She does well with the staff when we have to do a drop off appointment. We take all our pets there now. I fully reccomend them for any of your Vet needs.

They also charge you an administration fee every time you go! Never heard of that before! 5. expect a good wait in the smallish waiting area with your dog. The team gave me a two to three hour estimate and advised they would call me when he was ready. They hit the timing dead on at two hours. Start talking about homeopathic remedies and he gets all upset and loud, talks over you in a hyperactive non stop ranting fashion, shuts you up, belittles you, talks down to you, tells you everything you say is wrong and everything he says is right, makes you feel stupid and gives you anxiety. They should have an aftercare counselor on staff to deal with the PTSD you get from a visit here, it's beyond insane how people give good ratings. They must be the non confrontational types who follow orders from those who dominate them. I'm not that guy, never again.

From the moment we arrived, Faith, a team member, met us with so much genuine kindness and compassion. She took such good care of our boy, but she also took care of us. Every time she was on shift, she took the time to explain what was happening, answer our questions, check in on Bear, and genuinely listen to our concerns. You could tell this wasn't just a job to her she truly cared about him and about what we were going through. In some of the hardest moments we've experienced, having someone like Faith there meant more than I can put into words. I also want to give a special thank you to Stephanie, another team member who took time out of her day simply to sit and talk with us. And I absolutely do not want to leave out all of the other incredible team member and doctors who were part of Bear's care. We may not remember every name, but we remember the kindness. Every person who came into his room, checked on him, cared for him, answered another one of our questions, helped keep him comfortable, or simply showed us patience and compassion made a difference. We saw how many people were working behind the scenes for our boy, and none of that went unnoticed. To every doctor who cared for Bear, thank you for being honest with us while still being compassionate.Thank you for treating him with dignity, gentleness, and love. Thank you for answering our questions, being patient with us, and giving us the time and space we needed to make the hardest decision we have ever had to make for our boy. Saying goodbye to Bear was absolutely heartbreaking, but knowing that he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him brought us comfort during an unbearable moment. We know he is no longer in pain, and we are so grateful that his final days were spent being cared for with so much compassion. We will forever be grateful for the kindness you showed Bear and our family. He was so deeply loved, and it means everything to us that he was treated that way until the very end. Following a minor miscommunication regarding pricing from other staff members, an older employee became confrontational and began calling my husband names being racist to him!!. She even went as far as making inappropriate comments about our family and children. Regardless of any misunderstanding, there is never an excuse for staff to speak to clients in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. Instead of addressing the situation professionally and taking accountability for the confusion, the behavior we experienced was unacceptable. We entrusted this facility with the care of our pet and expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this clinic to others who expect professionalism, respectful communication, and accountability from veterinary staff.
