Got a call 2 days before my appointment to reschedule due to corrine being out due to a surgery. I said that I couldn't reschedule to the next Saturday as I had scheduled something then due to this appointment. The girl said she would keep my appointment and try and clean my dog up herself and I could reschedule with corrine. So I show up to my 10am appointment only to find it closed and locked. She said she would be there at 9 for another dog. So now I've wasted my time showing up only for her to not be there. Only to call to find out corrine has been out for weeks! I could have gotten a call to reschedule weeks ago but no they just waited to the last minute and then just didn't show up at all. At least have the decency to call and cancel so I wouldn't miss other appointments! Corrine had done a great job but this is how her associate runs her business in her absence and I don't appreciate my time being wasted. read more

Additionally, the quality of his groomings are great and I've had lots of people comment on how great he looks. Recently took my wife's dog, Dickens into Corrine's to have him groomed while visiting Sonora. We had previously taken him in to a major pet store to have him groomed. The results were a disaster and very displeased with the service provided. I explained our previous experience with the staff at Corrine's and assured me that they would a better job on her little Yorkie. When I return to pick up our Yorky I was quite surprised on how good he looked and how well he smelled, they did an outstanding job and the prices were very reasonable and I would highly recommend this establishment. Worst place to go had a apportment to get my Westin bath and cut. Got there and she said take him somewhere else she won't do him. Said his hair was to long it had been 8 weeks senc his last one. I've brought my dogs to Corrine's ever since I moved to the Sonora area almost 6 years ago. I was very much a fan and she really did a great job on my guys. I've lost confidence in her ability to keep my guys safe. The last time there two of my guys refused to go into their crate. They have always, in the past, gladly ran into the crate, but not this time. That and a $250 vet bill prior to this. She absolutely refused to take any responsibility for any thing and had no idea why my guys reacted the way they did which left me with unanswered questions and mistrust. Just picked up my dog from Corrine's and I am very pleased. We noticed fleas on her the night before and made a last minute appointment for a flea bath and haircut. They looked busy but fit our dog in right away. We live in the Bay Area and just come to our vacation home up here about once a month- but I am so pleased that I am going to schedule my dog's appointments up here instead of at home! I heard nothing but good things about Corrine's, so I took my large dog there to be groomed. My dog's coat is rather thick, so I asked for something that might be more comfortable for him in the coming summer heat. When I picked him up, I didn't even recognize him! I don't know if Corrine "groomed" him or the other woman who was working that day, but my dog looks like he's been scalped. He has rashes on his abdomen from being cut too closely, as well as cuts behind his ears. His tail looks like it went through a paper shredder! I think I will invest in a pair of electric shears and groom him myself from now on--it couldn't look any worse!! read more

Since another groomer moved in to Twain Harte - where my cabin is - I've used her for the past couple of years. But I still go to Corrine's in the winter when there's snow up the mountain.
